Chapter Two
"When it comes to Sofia Hamilton, you're destined to be defeated by me!"
Ryan Gregory's tone was very calm, as if stating a fact.
Kris Shaw had to admit deep down that he truly couldn't win Sofia over, but he was unwilling to admit it out loud. He joked, "Well, you never know! There's the seven-year itch, right? I'm waiting."
Kris Shaw's lips curved into a big smile. One moment the two had been at odds, and the next they were laughing and joking, leaving everyone confused.
Wasn't it supposed to be that rivals meeting would be unusually bitter?
How are they chatting away?
Ryan Gregory took a bottle of water from the staff, drinking several mouthfuls, "It's been a long time since I've had such a good fight."
Kris Shaw curled his lips, "Come again next time? When you're in better shape, I don't want to win too easily."
"When I'm well, could you still be a match for me?" Ryan Gregory didn't show weakness, smiling as he spoke.
