Chapter Two
"Lucy!!"
As she saw the car heading towards Lucy Greene, Sofia Hamilton's heart skipped a beat. She rushed forward and, at the last moment, grabbed Lucy Greene's arm and pulled her back.
In the next second, the car sped past them, kicking up a gust of wind that messed up Sofia Hamilton's hair, leaving her shaken.
The driver stopped the car, stuck his head out, and yelled, "Do you want to die!! Didn't you see it coming!"
"How unlucky, if you want to die, don't drag others with you."
Grumbling under his breath, the driver drove off again.
Lucy Greene was so scared her face turned even paler.
She seemed so shocked that her reactions were a bit slow.
Sofia Hamilton breathed a sigh of relief and looked at her worriedly, "Are you okay?"
Upon hearing Sofia Hamilton's voice, Lucy Greene snapped out of her shock and stared blankly at Sofia Hamilton.
Seeing her concerned face, a wave of complex emotions rose in Lucy Greene's heart.
How could it be Sofia who saved her?
