Chapter 5
The red light was just ahead, but the car wouldn't stop.
Kris Shaw nervously gripped the steering wheel and charged straight ahead at the critical moment. In that instant, a car turning from the side nearly collided with them, causing Sofia Hamilton to scream in fear.
It was then she realized the seriousness of the situation, her face turning pale. She looked anxiously at Kris Shaw, "The brakes aren't working, what do we do?"
Kris Shaw tightened his grip on the steering wheel and suddenly swerved into another lane.
When Sofia saw it was the wrong way, her nerves went taut, and she shook his hand, "This is against the traffic. Are you crazy?"
It was a one-way street here, and driving like that was completely going against the flow!!
"Kris Shaw, did you hear me!!" As soon as Sofia finished speaking, a car nearly collided with them.
Beep beep beep...
The piercing sound of horns made her shut her eyes, turning her head away, not daring to look.
