Chapter One
This woman is clearly hiding something from him.
But since she decided not to say it, all he can do is trust her and wait.
Sofia Hamilton smiled and looked into his eyes, but his gaze was too sharp, as if he could see right through her, and in front of him, she felt transparent. Just when she was about to break, thinking he would question her, thinking he would snatch the phone from her hand to see what was going on.
However, Sofia was quite surprised.
Even though he obviously had his suspicions, he just raised an eyebrow, a slight smile gracing his lips, "Come on, let's go get something to eat."
With that, he took her hand and headed towards the door.
Sofia was a bit taken aback and a bit curious.
Was he really not going to ask?
