Chapter Five
The waiter came in, abruptly interrupting Ryan Gregory's words.
Sofia Hamilton painstakingly swallowed the piece of rib in her mouth and smiled, "I'm going to the restroom."
She got up and hurriedly left.
Watching her hastily departing figure, Ryan slightly furrowed his brows.
Did he go too far?
He brought her here not to make her jealous.
Though, he did enjoy the feeling of her jealousy and her care...
But he swore, that wasn't his intention.
He simply wanted to take her to places he had been, walk paths he had walked...
He just wanted her to be part of his life.
But judging by her expression earlier, that little fool probably was really mad.
He put down his chopsticks, ready to wait for her return.
Meanwhile...
Sofia arrived at the restroom, and as soon as she closed the door, she heard the discussion outside.
"Sienna, this time you've got the money for your mom's eye surgery, right?"
"It should be about enough."
