Chapter Six
Lucy Greene was surprised, "Sofia Hamilton? What are you doing here?"
"Ryan and I happened to have some business here. What happened to your car?" Sofia glanced at the car she had parked by the roadside and asked with curiosity.
"It's broken down, it's really stressing me out. I called the dealership's people over, but they haven't come yet. I need to hurry back."
"Why don't you ride back with us? If you wait for the car to be fixed, won't it delay your plans?"
"That makes sense, but... is it convenient?"
"What's inconvenient about it? Come on, didn't we say we'd be friends? Don't be so polite with me."
Sofia smiled and pulled her hand, "Just leave the car here. The dealership's people can tow it back later."
Lucy smiled, "Alright then."
"Sofia, thank you. How about I treat you to a meal when we get back? How does that sound?"
"A meal? I haven't helped you that much."
