She mustered up the courage, "Because I love you."

Lucy Greene's eyes were rimmed with red as she stared into his dark eyes, "Aaron Brown, I like you. I chose to marry you and agreed to get engaged to you, even if you're using me, I'm willing to let you use me because I know if I refuse, there will never be any intersection between us."
His gaze was always fixed on someone else.
If she didn't take this step, he would never see her.
She was even somewhat grateful that she had something for him to use, so he would notice her.
