Chapter Three
"No strength, can't lift it up."
He said with a half-smile, seeming both earnest and insincere.
But Sofia Hamilton could tell he was doing it on purpose...
She smiled and picked up the spoon, scooping some food to his mouth, "Come on, eat."
Like feeding a child, she watched him with a smile and, after he took a bite, said, "Good boy, have another bite."
"..." Ryan Gregory looked up at her smiling face, and there was a faint smile on his lips too.
She fed him bite by bite, like a caregiver whose sole responsibility was to fill him up. In truth, after a bite or two, he had no appetite; these foods had already lost their taste for him.
However, he knew that if he ate, she would certainly be very happy.
He was willing to do things that made her happy.
Even if it was like chewing wax, hard to swallow, he pretended to enjoy it.
