Chapter Three
Never sacrifice the greater for the lesser.
The Supervisor looked at the woman sternly, "Starting tomorrow, you don't need to come in anymore."
The Salesperson was stunned, "What? Supervisor, you must be mistaken, this wasn't my fault, clearly it was..."
"Shut up!"
The Supervisor warned through gritted teeth, trying hard to keep his voice down, "If you still want to earn a living in this city, then you'd better shut your mouth!"
Getting stuck with a teammate like this was truly his misfortune.
The woman closed her mouth, feeling wronged, and only then did she realize she had gotten herself into trouble. She began to plead, "Supervisor, you know my family's situation, I have elders and children to support, they're all relying on me."
