"It seems like you two have a telepathic connection, that's why she was so sure you'd come back."
With a smile, Lydia Mitchell said, making Sofia Hamilton feel a little embarrassed.
But the next second, everyone started leaving one by one, leaving only him and her behind.
The night sky tonight was dotted with stars, and the crescent moon shone brightly, seemingly illuminating the whole sky, as well as Sofia Hamilton's face and the smile in her eyes.
The waves shimmered, glittering gently.
Sofia Hamilton's eyes were a bit swollen and red.
Because she had been crying earlier, her nose was also slightly red.
"Why did you think I would come back?" he asked softly.
"It was your promise to me, you assured me, and I trusted that you would keep your word and not deceive me."
