Hansen Ruiz asked in surprise, "What happened?" Glades Horne had actually ordered him to suspend the monthly allowance for his second and third uncles; he was truly taken aback.

Glades Horne coldly tossed out the command. Hansen Ruiz, sensing that his loyal confidant and boss was currently engulfed in raging flames, immediately responded with palpable anxiety, "Okay!"
Then he hastily ended the call. As if fearing he would be reduced to ashes.
