Ever since they left for their honeymoon, Julia Bluen always slept until she naturally awoke.
When she opened her eyes, the sun outside the window had already climbed high.
Turning her head, she saw the bed beside her was empty. Glades Horne had already gotten up.
She hurriedly sat up, slipped into a pair of slippers, found her clothes, and finished freshening up. Only then did she walk to the French doors to draw back the heavy curtains, letting the warm sunshine filter in. She stood before the French doors for a moment before turning to leave the Bedroom. In the small sitting area outside, she saw a bowl of fresh, steamy vegetable, shredded pork, and mushroom soup noodles on the coffee table.
Delighted, she quickly walked over to the coffee table and sat down.
There was a small note underneath the bowl.
