"Do you think you really fit in with the life here?" Ruby Bluen's heart clenched as she listened to him. He was always like this, taking every opportunity to push her away.
"You were born the distinguished second young master of the Horne Family, always clothed in finery and abundantly fed. Did you think that when you first came here, you'd have no issues at all? That you'd instantly adapt to this climate where the sky stretches for miles? That you'd never gotten sick, never run a fever, never been hospitalized before?" "At least I have adapted now," Marcel Horne replied coldly.
He didn't dwell on the fact that when he first arrived in Tibet, he, like her, had struggled with the climate changes, fallen ill, and been hospitalized.
