A universe where this world was nothing more than a novel.

Only then did I understand my role.

The future held a catastrophe great enough to erase civilizations.
But the author had already written a solution.

A protagonist would rise.
A chosen hero would struggle.
The world would be saved.

And I?

I was a mob character.
One without relevance. One without destiny.

So I asked a simple question the story never did.

What happens when a background character understands the rules better than the main character?

Mob characters do not change the world.


They train.They struggle.They die quietly.


Their purpose is not to succeed—but to make the protagonist's success meaningful.


Yet the novel never accounted for knowledge.


It never accounted for a background character who understood the system better than the system itself.


And so, the question remained unanswered:
