Chapter 1
GREETINGS, I WOULD LIKE TO CLEARIFY BEFORE WE BEGIN THAT THIS STORY STARTS AT THE ENDING OF DIGIMON STORY: TIME STRANGER AND RIGHT AT THE START OF MY HERO ACADEMIA. IF YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED TIME STRANGER I SUGGEST YOU LEAVE, IF YOU DON'T CARE. THEN WELCOME TO THIS STORY.
WE'LL BE FOLLOWING THE MAIN PROTAG DAN YUKI FROM TIME STRANGER, AND SINCE HE'LL BE ENTERING THE WORLD OF HEROES HE'LL BE NEEDING A FEW UPGRADES. EXPECT SOME ELEMENTS FROM OTHER DIGIMON SERIES IN THIS STORY. THIS IS MY 1ST FANFIC IN A LONG WHILE SO, I HOPE YOU ENJOY. LET'S BEGIN.
An Agent in a New World
Victory has been obtained, with the power united by the Olympos 12 and the surprising assistance of Royal Knights, Chronomon was defeated and as it's final words before finally disappearing in a big explosion. "My true desire...Freedom"
But unfortunately, now that it's keeper is gone the fabric of time is beginning to fall apart. And with the final goodbyes between Jupitermon and Inori, someone had to fill the spot for the fabric of time or else a greater tragedy then the shinjuku inferno will occur. A cog in the machine, the very purpose they were born. As the both parties drift apart Jupitermon gives its final words to the crying Inori "Don't cry Inori. Time exist everywhere in this world, in other words, I will always be by your side. I'll always be watching over you"
"I will always be praying for your happiness" The final words from Jupitermon before the tear in the sky covers leaving the crying Inori on her knees not wanting this to be goodbye.
Somewhere
Jupitermon was flying through digital void before glowing as two individuals separated from one another. The two being Aegiomon and Dan Yuki.
"Woah!" Dan said suddenly appearing so close in front of Aegiomon as the both of them sit up facing each other. Dan looks around where we are and lets out a tired sigh before looking back at the digimon.
"I can.. handle the rest by myself" Aegiomon says in confident tone. "In the next world, I'll make sure that the "gate" doesn't open. That'll make it so war never happened. So then, all the things she lost should go back to normal"
"That's good." Dan says looking back where they flew in recalling seeing Inori crying before they disappeared. "She's been through a lot" He turns back to Aegiomon as he was sharing the same smile as he was before frowning for what he's about to say next.
"Of course, It'll also make it so we'll never meet..but as long as she's happy, I'm okay with that" Aegiomon says in a sad and hopeful tone. "Inori will be somewhere in the world. As long as I can feel that.. I can go through an eternity or two."
"You already settling in this whole thing" Dan chuckles before noticing the serious look on the digimons face.
"But.. I want you two watch over her closely. I know it's selfish of me to ask, but.. Dan you definitely understand how I feel right?" Dan looks at Aegiomon with his hand on his chest. "After all.. You are the other me"
Dan smiles at Aegiomon before nodding. "You said it, pal. I'll be sure to watch over her. wherever I end up." Dan chuckles looking at his hands.
Aegiomon tilts his head in confusion. "Something wrong"
Dan shakes his head "No...no.. I'm Still adjusting to the whole alternate timeline stuff hehe" Dan pulls out his phone staring at, he was thinking about Operator and realizing she was just a figment of my imagination. "I'll figure things out when I get back." Dan puts his phone away before looking back at Aegiomon with a sad smile.
Aegiomon smiles back before suddenly. SHUD The two heroes begin looking around confusingly from the sound and it happened again. SHUD
"The heck is that noise, don't tell me.." Dan looks at Aegiomon worried it maybe foe.
"No! that's impossible, we defeated Chronomon and things should b-" Suddenly a large crack forms in between them, the two of them stares at it before looking back at one another.
"You don't think-" SHUUUDD
Suddenly the large crack in between them breaks open as dark tentacles come swirling out, gust of wind rushes around between both digimon and agent as they cover themselves from the exposure. "Any Digimon we know?!" Aegiomon says to Dan looking over at him, Dan carefully lowers my guard and see's a red eyes among the tentacles and from within the crack they see a mouth with its tongue sticking out devilishly.
"Nope!, never seen this one before-" suddenly the tentacles wraps around Dan and begins pulling him in. Aegiomon gasps and quickly dashes to grab Dan's hand trying to pull him back.
"Whatever this digimon is, it's targeting you!" Aegiomon says pulling as hard as he can.
Dan in the unknown digimons grasps looks back and forth between the struggling digimon and whatever is pulling him into the void. "Dang it!" He looks back at Aegiomon. Dan tries to pull out its digivice to bring out its digimon, but the unknown digimon has a real tight hold on him preventing him from reaching into his pocket.
Dan sighs and looks around seeing there was no hope to be saved, before slowly looking up at Aegiomon.
"Aegiomon... let go" Dan says defeatedly
"Huh..WHAT?!" Aegiomon says shockingly still holding on.
"Face it, I don't want you getting pulled in along with me, plus who's gonna lead that ragtag bunch of yours." Dan smiles referring to the Olympos 12 who helped them during the final battle.
Aegiomon looks at Dan looking back as his face and hand. "But..Inori, I wanted you to watch over her.." Aegiomon says in low sad tone.
"I know, but.. like you said before.." Both Dan and Aegiomon flashes back to the final words they said to Inori.
"I'll always be watching over you"
Aegiomon and Dan stare into each other eye to eye, before Aegiomon nods in defeat. "Wherever you end up at, I'll find a way to find you. You hear me?"
Dan gives Aegiomon a short chuckle looking at him. "I know you would." The two take one last look at each other and then...
Aegiomon finally lets go, Dan looks at Aegiomon with a confident smile as the unknown digimon drags him into the tear, as it disappears so did the crack as it's remnants can still be seen.
Aegiomon stares at once where his friend, his other me was just at. He begins shedding a few tears as he turns around and flies off where he was going before all this occured. "I'll promise. Wherever you are, I'll find you!"
Unknown Location
Dan slowly begins to come to, as he did he realizes he was laying on a pile of garbage bags staring up from an alleyway, he hears sounds of birds chirping, footsteps and cars nearby. His vision slowly regains itself as he rises from the garbage pile.
"Owww...where am I?" Dan looks around and seeing he was in alleyway, both directions leading out onto a sidewalk as he see's people walking back and forth. "Am I.. back home?" Dan pulls out his phone and see's he got signal.
"That's good, what about my digimon?" Dan slides over on its digivice and seeing his digimon was still secured and safe as he let a sigh of relief, before putting it he checked what time of day it was. "2 hours til noon" hmm. "He puts his digivice away as he slowly makes his way one of the exits of the alleyway, and as he steps out the light flashes his vision, he immediately covers his eyes before lowering his hand upon doing so he was shocked to see what's around him.
Dan couldn't believe his eyes as he was greeted was signs and posters from various shops, and they all follow one theme. Super Heroes. Dan see's some civilians walking by wearing clothes with a blonde guys face with a kind of creepy smile, he looked up seeing couple people jumping from building to building as the civilians in front of him cheer seeing the sight.
"Where the heck am I?" Dan covers his mouth frighten from what's going on around him, before he knew he begin to accidentally bump into people as they were walking from left and right.
"HEY, WATCH IT!
"IDIOT, MOVE!"
"ARE YOU BLIND?!"
Dan gasps embarrassingly moving out of the way. "S-sorry about that." Before Dan knew it, he looked down seeing he was standing in the middle of the street and from his left he's sees a car coming his way.
"CRAP!" Dan jumps out of the way back onto the sidewalk panting heavily as the individual in the car peers out the window looks back at him shaking his head in disapprove.
Dan was on the sidewalk trying to settle down everything that just happened. "Okay...so...I'm in a different world where..super heroes are the major fad and I almost nearly got ran over. Just great." Dan chuckles nervously and before he stood up, he looked behind him seeing some civilians staring at him like he was a crazy person or a hobo.
He immediately dashes back into the alleyway and makes hard left out of view from the civilians still staring at him before leaving their sight.
Back Alley, Apartment Complex
Dan was walking back and forth adjusting to everything that just happened the last 30 minutes, from defeating Chronomon, Farewell to Inori, that unknown Digimon, and now being in a world with super heroes. It's not been a good day for him so far.
"Great, I'm stuck in a new world with no cash or friends to hel-" Dan suddenly realizes before hitting his head stupidly. "Alright, come on out you guys" Dan pulls out his Digivice and brings out his partners, Patamon, Gomamon, DemiDevimon, Veemon, and Wormmon.
"Hey, what's the big idea?!" DemiDevimon was on it's head being summoned before rolling over onto it's feet.
Patamon looks around and at Dan. "Hmm, hey, ain't we back home?" Patamon looks around curiously.
Gomamon yawns tiredly "Finally, I'm a bit hungry right now." Gomamon's stomach rumbles.
Veemon sitting down looking at Dan. "I'm not sure we're home guys, judging by the bosses face"
All the partners look at Dan as he was still walking back and forth angry, they were all curious why he's in this mood, they recall not that long ago they defeated Chronomon, so why is he all angry.
Wormmon frowns at the sight of it's leader. "I don't think this is good guys" The digimon turns to Wormmon. "Something times me we're in a pickle here."
"You're right Wormmon" All of them turned to their leader as he faces all of them. "Listen up, I'm just as confused as you guys but, we're not in our world anymore." He looks at his digimons reactions, Patamon was curious about the situation they were in, DemiDevimon was in different about it, Gomamon was just too hungry to care, Veemon eyes widen and looks around noticing some stuff not from their world, And Wormmon just looked more afraid.
"Wait, We defeated Chronomon right? Shouldn't we be bought back to ou-" Patamon says before being cut off by Dan. "Well that was before some digimon pulled me into some rift or something"
The entire digimon group stood up at the remark. "Unknown Digimon" They said in unison.
DemiDevimon immediately flew and got up in Dan's face. "Hey!, why didn't you bring us out, maybe we could have stopped it!?"
Dan looks at DemiDevimon all up in his face before pushing him away. "I tried, but that sucker had a good tight hold on me, sorry guys."
The entire group was in silence thinking about the events that transpired, thinking how they could have prevented this from happening. Wormmon lifts its head looks at Dan.
"But, where are we?" Wormmon says in a scared tone. Dan sighs before looking at his digimon partners.
"From what I can tell, we're in a world full of superheroes." The digimon shudder at the revelation, except for Gomamon who was just hungry.
"Superheroes?!" The entire group said in shocked. DemiDevimon, Patamon, and Veemon gets a tought bubble of them being superheroes and gaining fame from doing good deeds, before suddenly out of no where an out of frame giant foot stomps on them leaving an imprint on the ground.
"We got to get out of here!" Wormmon yells in a panic as it begins moving around in a circle panicking like a small child. Dan looks over at Veemon to go comfort him, Veemon nods before going over.
DemiDevimon lands on Dan's head. "Well, what's the plan, I assume you already got one. right?" DemiDevimon looks down at it's tamer curiously.
Dan sighs in defeat. "That's what I'm trying to thi- Suddenly DemiDevimon yells in it's ear.
"WELL THINK FASTER, IDIOT!"
Gomamon's stomach rumbles looking around. "Well, can we at least get something to eat, that Chronomon fight took a lot out of me." Dan was rubbing his ear from DeviDemimon's yell as he looks at Gomamon.
"Sorry pal, I'm broke." Dan shows his pockets to his digimon as they all sighed in defeat, Veemon carrying a crying Wormmon back to the group.
"Well, we got to think of something boss. Plus that thing that pulled us here can be on the loose somewhere!" Veemon clarifies as he was petting Wormmon's head
"I know, I know but... I don't even know where to start."
Suddenly the group begins to hear footsteps approaching them, from around the corner, the group see's someone who they weren't expecting to see at all, Dan immediately gets a shocked look before gaining a big smile.
The group was looking at a small girl with glasses and purple hair wearing a black dress, that looks like a school uniform, she was carrying a book with her under one of her arms as a sign of intellect to our heroes
"Mirei Mikagura..." Dan smiles.
Mirei returns with a small smile of her own. "Good to see you again.. Agent"
