Chapter 202 - 13

"Okay," Izuku adjusts his clip-on tie. "Go to school. Sneak out during lunch. Try and find Ghost boy and then…" His shoulders fall. "And then what?"

He couldn't hold him before. And he can't kill him. That'd be against every hero and moral code. Not to mention, the boy might not even be killable. Since he's a real ghost, he might just respawn or something.

So, maybe he can hope the boy just leaves on his own?

UGH! Izuku slumps, footsteps heavy as he walks into the hallway.

"Good morning, sleepy head." His mom greets him, having stepped out of her room as well.

"Mornin." He briefly looks up in a short nod of acknowledgement.

"WAH!"

"WHAT?!" Izuku raises his fists at the ready.

"Sorry." His mother shakes her head. Her hands held closely to her chest.

"Mom that's not the first time you've yelled when you've seen me. Is something wrong?" Is he that ugly?

"No, no!" She waves her hands side to side. "It's just your eyes…"

"My eyes?" Izuku touches his bottom eyelid.

"They look like they glow sometimes."

Izuku stiffens.

"Or they just look really bright. I don't know. It mostly happens when it's dark." She brings a hand to her lips. "But now that I think about it, they kind of remind me of cat eyes."

"Oh." Izuku smartly says. It's kind of cool that his eyes glow in the dark. He knows he has automatic night vision now, but he kind of brushed aside the fact that just like nocturnal animals, his eyes would shine from light bouncing off them. What's not so cool is that his mom saw it.

Still, at least he knows why she yelled. As for the reason behind his shining or glowing eyes, he already has one.

"It's my new contacts." Izuku replies.

"Contacts? You have perfect vision?" His mom quirks an eyebrow. "Why didn't," her lips turn into a slight frown, "why didn't you tell me?"

"They're not prescribed!" Izuku sees the sadness forming in her from what she thinks he kept secret. "It's just infrared vision. I thought it'd be helpful to see in the dark as a hero. I wanted to get used to them now, so I wouldn't struggle later."

"Infrared vision?" His mother tilts her head in thought.

"Yes." He fidgets with his fingers. He knows they have a close relationship now, keeping no secrets from each other. Fake eye contacts wasn't one. Being a ghost though? That is something he hopes to never have to share with her. Or anyone for that matter.

"Sorry I didn't tell you." He really should've said something earlier. "It could've helped you from getting scared."

"I still would've gotten scared." She admits.

"Ha, I guess seeing cat eyes is scary." Izuku laughs.

"You do look like a cat." His mom snickers.

"Cat?!" He exclaims, offended. "I'm a wolf!" Izuku puffs out his chest.

"Right." She laughs, gently pushing at his chest. Izuku smiles back.

Saying their goodbyes, Izuku hurries to school. He'll show up, do a little acting, get excused for the day to look for the boy again. No problem.

"Alright class." Aizawa drawls, slapping his folder on the lectern. He glances around and nods his head. "You look to be all here. Kaminari."

"Hai!" Kaminari jumps up. A glob of drool dangling from his chin. Some of the class giggles, amused, while others look on disapproving or disgusted.

"There are tutoring sessions provided by the general ed students here on campus. There are morning and afternoons times as well as weekends. You have by this afternoon to decide which times you'll be going."

"Hai." Kaminari whines, plopping down in his seat with a pout.

"Mina, Sato, Hagakure. I will need your times as well."

"Rats!" Mina groans, clenching her eyes in a grimace.

"Being a hero is more than punching people in the face. You need to train your mind as well. Understand."

"Hai." The class answers.

"We'll be going over CPR and first aid training for this afternoon. Prepare yourselves."

"Ooh." The soon to be tutees perk up at the news. A nice little carrot on a stick for their awaiting tutoring agony.

"As a reminder," Aizawa holds onto the lectern with both hands, "everything you do outside these school walls matters. Make sure you keep up with your fitness and other physical activities. Don't get lazy. Heroes die because of laziness. And the people suffer all the more for it. Also," He sighs heavily, "I've said it once and I'll say it again because I'm under contract, should you have any questions or concerns on anything, including non-school related, you can reach out to me at any time. Although there are plenty of great teachers here that would be more than happy to assist you in your teenage dilemmas. That'll be all." He finishes by slipping into his sleeping bag for a nap.

Izuku deadpans. Once again, why is he a teacher?

"Thank you, Sensei!" Iida shouts. Izuku is surprised Aizawa hadn't said anything about his constant shouts of gratitude.

"Class," Iida stands to face them. "We should all take this time to study! Kaminari, if you would allow me to help you with your studies, I will be honored to serve you today!"

"Uh," Kaminari side eyes him. He forces a smile to be polite. "I'm good, thanks," he says then turns to chat with Sero.

"Very well, the offers remains open!" Iida takes his seat and diligently starts to study.

Something hits Izuku's chair. He looks down and sees a tiny rounded cleaner robot scrubbing the floor. It has a small screen showing two little digital eyes.

"Mo!" It beeps as it scrubs away.

"It's cute." Asui comments, watching it pass by her feet in adoration.

"I know, my favorite is the one that makes the 'Eva' noise." Uraraka shares.

"I just want to squeeze them in a hug and take them home!" Mina squeals.

"Stupid robots!" Mineta quietly seethes in his seat.

"Hey, Midobro!" Kirishima pulls up a chair next to him. "Mind telling me what kind of exercise routine you do?"

"Oh, sure!" Izuku pulls out his notebook for Kirishima to read.

"Woah dude!" Kirishima's eyes light up. "You even have drawings!"

"Let me see!" Kaminari and Sero scrunch in close.

I should start now, Izuku prepares himself for faking a sickness. Start off small, getting them to question if he's okay, then build on it until he is sent to the nurse.

The classroom door slams open.

"Aizawa!" Cementoss walks in. "You're needed. Nezu's office."

Aizawa is already out the door before Cementoss can even finish saying office.

"Is something wrong?" Iida looks to his sensei in concern.

"Where's Aizawa going?" Kaminari asks.

The class whispers to each other, feeling worried.

"Good morning, class." Cementoss stands in the center. "I'm sorry to disturb you. As pro heroes, we sometimes get pulled away to help on the field. So, don't worry and focus on class, understood?"

"Hai…" The class tries to settle down, still feeling a bit worried.

They should be worried, Izuku thinks. When heroes go out into the field, there's no guarantee they'll come back.

"I'll be subbing in for Aizawa while he's away." Cementoss carries on. "I know he can have a bit of a relaxed homeroom, so I'll be following his lead and letting you be. However, he's also known for withholding, as he says," Cementoss holds up four fingers in air quotes, "'useless' information, so I'll take it upon myself to let you know of the school activities and events happening this week."

"We have those?!" The class exclaims.

Izuku ignores the chatter as he scrolls through his phone. For Aizawa to be needed, there must be something big going on. He's one of the only heroes known that can cancel other's quirks. Izuku's seen and read the news of Eraserhead showing up for the more dangerous villains with a difficult quirk to take on. Being pulled out of class the day after what happened in the forest yesterday can only mean one thing.

The news feeds come pouring in with headlines reading "Ghost boy!"

"Cementoss-sensei!" Izuku stands. "I don't feel good, may I use the restroom?"

"Do you need to go to the nurse's office?" Cementoss asks.

"No, just the restroom." Izuku squirms in place, wanting to leave as soon as possible. It adds to the notion that he urgently needs a toilet.

"Very well. You may go." Cementoss allows.

"Thank you!" Izuku runs out the door.

"Looks like someone has the runs." Mineta comments.

"Was it the BBQ?" Kirishima ponders.

"Nah, that stuff was too good to make a porcelain painting." Sero replies.

"EWE!" The girls make a face.

"Must've been something he caught." Kaminari guesses.

"Yeah." Kirishima nods in agreement. "But that BBQ place was manly!" He pumps his fists.

"Yeah!" The class diverges into sharing their favorite restaurants and food.

Meanwhile, Ghost takes to the skies, flying straight to the city's main street. Before he even gets there, he can already see the people fleeing in fear with police and heroes giving them direction.

"Look!" One police officer takes notice of him. He points up, directing others to look as well.

"It's another one!" The officer warns.

"It's okay officer!" Ghost flies down towards him. He stops when they all move back with fear.

"I'm a hero! I'm here to help!" He smiles, trying to seem as good and friendly as possible.

"You going to help like your buddy over there!" The officer growls. Ghost glances at the insects damaging buildings and chasing after the fleeing people.

"We're not buddies!" Ghost replies in offense. "Although, I am trying to befriend him. But right now, I'm going to stop him before he can do any more harm."

"And how you going to do that, Ghost?" A hero steps up, recognizing the vigilante. "Nothing can touch or hurt him."

"Well," Ghost slowly rises, "that's cause he's a ghost. Not like me though! He's a real ghost. You know," He wiggles his fingers saying 'ooOooOOoh' in mimic to a stereotypical ghost noise.

The hero looks to his people next to him, saying with his eyes, "Is he being serious right now?"

Ghost clears his throat, feeling his cheeks warm.

"Anyway, I'm going to go fight him now." He pauses midair. "And call me phantom. Calling us both Ghost is gonna be confusing."

If Izuku is going to encounter more rageful ghosts, he doesn't want to be lumped in with them. Might as well have a choice in the name he'll be called.

"Oh, and I need you to grab these three things for me." He tosses a small notepad to the officer.

"It's a matter of life or death. You hear me?" He flies off. "Life or death!" He shouts over his shoulder.

"Okay, Phantom. You can do this." Feeling hyped, he hurries to the ghost boy.

He finds the boy terrorizing a group of middle schoolers. Having bugs crawl all over them.

"Hey!" Phantom punches the ghost boy in the face. He careens into the paved street, cratering into it.

Phantom flies down to the middle schoolers and quickly tries to pluck and crush the insects scurrying all over them.

"Hold still!" Phantom grips onto one of the middle schoolers. A boy with black hair and red eyes. He's used hit quirk and lit himself on fire in an attempt to kill the insects. It did nothing and the poor kid is screaming his lungs out, looking ready to die of a heart attack.

One of the insects leaps onto Phantom.

"GAH!" Phantom shrieks, frantically shaking his hand.

"This is not working!" He shouts. The insects are too much. And the ghost boy is getting back up.

"Okay, new plan!" Phantom grabs the hands of red eyes and another middle schooler. "Everyone hold hands!" He commands. The three other middle schoolers continue screaming and rolling around on the ground.

"Do it now!" Phantom pushes the boys he's holding to grab onto the ones on the floor. The moment they link hands, he turns intangible. The insects fall off the boys. Phantom jets away with all the boys in hand, then turns back tangible. They all crash into a heap against a building.

"Get up!" Phantom pushes the boys off him. "Run!" He pulls one boy to stand.

"Ugh." The boys groan, taking in their present. Finding themselves free of bugs, they high tail it out of the area.

"I can't believe that worked." Phantom sighs. He just thought of sharing his intangibility with the boys and it happened. That'll definitely be helpful.

"That won't work again." The ghost boy hovers above him. "Now that I know you can turn others intangible, I'll just have my insects do the same."

Phantom stands, glaring him down.

"Listen…um," His glare falters. "I'm sorry. What's your name?"

"What?" The boy leans back, thrown off by the question.

"I can't just call you ghost boy." Phantom explains. "What do I call you?"

"It doesn't matter!" Ghost boy shoots out a powerfully charged ecto-ray. Phantom phases into the ground just in time, resurfacing in the opposite direction only to have his face blasted.

"Gah!" Phantom runs away blindly. "Right in the sniffer!" He shakes the pain away and dodges the incoming rays. One comes in hot at his feet. He flips back and flies off before he can touch the ground.

"What?" Phantom snakes around in the air. "You want me to just say, hey you? Or Ghost boy? You know Ghost is the name they called me. I mean I did just tell them to call me Phantom but there's bound to be miscommunication."

"You're so annoying!" Ghost boy raises his hands, gathering a large quantity of ecto-energy.

"Spirit bomb?" Phantom eyes widen.

"HA!" Ghost boy throws the ball of energy at him.

"WAH!" He jumps out of the way, but the force of the blast hits him anyway, sending him into an apartment building nearby.

No! He turns tangible, passing safely through the building. He forces himself to a stop and comes flying back. War is the first thought that crosses his mind when he sees the state of the street. Greyish fire burns all around. Craters little the pavement. Building's cracked groan from their crumbling as they try to hold themselves up. And at the center of it all is the Ghost boy, smiling at his masterpiece. Basking in the screams of those falling victim to his widespread insect attack.

Phantom clenches his teeth and tightens his fists. He leans forward, squatting low to build up flight speed.

"Ghost!"

Phantom sputters, looking down. The officer and hero from earlier wave at him.

"I told you to call me Phantom!" He answers, touching ground.

"Here!" The officer tosses something at Phantom. A taser. He looks at the hero's hands and sees a water bottle and a saltshaker."

"You got them?" He looks on in disbelief.

"You said it was life or death!" The officer shouts, angered.

"It is!" Phantom swipes the other two items. "And it's just what I needed!"

"Wait!" The officer stops him.

"Yes?"

"Use this too." The officer puts a necklace around his neck.

"A cross?" Phantom questions the charm. "I didn't ask for this?"

"Well, you said he's a ghost right?"

They all look at the cross then at the ghost that looked like he came as a plague from hell.

"Pfft!" Phantom and the hero snort.

"JUST GO!" The officer storms off, fuming.

"You got it officer!" Phantom takes off to the Ghost boy.

"Hey!" He hollers at the boy. "Seriously, man you gotta tell me your name. I feel rude. Maybe a code name? Like Insecticnator?"

"My name doesn't matter. Because today," The boy gathers his insects and the insects around, turning it into a tidal wave.

I didn't know he could control our world's insects?!

"The news will tell of how a wannabe hero!" Phantom's horror filled eyes looks up in tune with the tidal wave as it rises higher and higher. "Died at the hands of a powerful villain!"

"Hiyah!"

Ghost boy's face drips with water.

"Haha." Phantom nervously laughs. "Guess holy water doesn't work." He hides the empty water bottle behind his back.

Ghost boy glares, just short of a growl.

"Hiyah!"

"Ow!" Ghost boy clutches his eyes from the salt thrown at him. It mixes with the water soaking his body. He scratches at it, groaning in pain.

"So, salt causes mild irritation." Phantom shakes his itching hand from the hand full of salt he threw. "That's good to know."

"RARGH!" Ghost rages. His body lighting a greyish hue. It disappears, taking all evidence of water and salt.

"Woah, wait!" Phantom holds out the cross, extending the necklace's chain as far as he could.

"I don't think you're a villain!" Even if he definitely looks like one. "You're an angry spirit at most. You could have killed those middle schooler's, but instead you scared them. You could have killed anyone. Destroyed everything here! But you didn't!"

"Watch me!" The boy releases his wave of insects.

"Deep down you don't want to hurt people!" Phantom continues yelling as he blasts away at the wave.

"You say humans are monsters, well I agree!" He flies backwards as he continues shooting at the torrent of insects in vain. They flood the streets, carrying cars and ripping street lamps with it.

"Some people can be ugly and cruel, but not all of them!" Images of his friends and classmates pass through his mind. "Some are kind! And caring! You just didn't get to meet them!"

"What does it matter now!" The boy speeds up his attack, shooting ecto-rays as well. "I'm dead! And soon you will be too!"

"Well, you look pretty alive to me!" Phantom rapid fire back at the wave as he dodges the ecto-rays. He pulls out his taser, aiming it at a small group of insects. It zaps them making them spasm, but they swarm more insects fly to their aid, climbing onto the taser. Phantom lets it go watching it get destroyed.

"Just wait!" He shouts at the boy. "Let's talk about this!"

Ghost boy flies high above the danger that crashes in surging waves without end. To engrossed with watching Phantom's demise to hear anything else.

"Look!" Shouts turn Phantom's head.

No, Phantom's heart beats. He sees the street ahead crowded with people, still going about their day thinking they were safe this far out of the fight.

He looks between the people then at the wave. He needs to protect them. He needs to shield them. But only his ecto-rays seem to do any damage. And the wave is too large to blast it all away.

THINK! THINK! THINK!

The wave is upon the people.

Phantom turns to face the wave with arm extended.

"STOP!" He explodes with ecto energy. He releases it far and wide, covering the entire wave with green light. It holds the insects back, the ecto energy being utilized as a solid shield frame.

"Look at that!" The people point at the mountain of insects being held back by a green wall.

"Run away!" Phantom groans barely holding his shield together. He's a bit excited that he can change the use and shape of his ecto-energy but is more worried about how his shield is already cracking.

"AUGH!" Phantom pours out more energy into the shield, sealing the cracks, but he feels himself draining. He needs to end this. He needs to get through to the Ghost boy.

"Kuro!" Phantom names the boy. "Please listen!" His arms shake, feeling a bead of sweat slide down his face. He didn't even know he could sweat in this form. Guess he just has a higher level of strain he needs to reach before doing so.

"You and I are the same!"

"WE ARE NOTHING ALIKE!" Kuro shouts in fury.

"We're freaks! You said so yourself!" Not a great comparison, but he needs to connect somehow. "But that just means we're different! Who cares? Everyone's a little different." We live in a world of quirks with heteromorphic mutations. Different is the new normal. "Have you heard of Godzilla? He's a movie star now!"

Kuro moves his insects into a point, focusing on breaking through Phantom's shield at the center.

Good thing, Phantom grunts in strain, digging his feet into the pavement to keep from being pushed back. He didn't know what he'd do if Kuro decided to move his insects around the shield instead.

"We're both ghosts too!" He continues with his comparisons. "That makes us alike!"

"You're a human!" Kuro reminds him.

"You were human before!"

"I was weak before!" Kuro growls. "But no more!"

"URK!" Phantom gets pushed back, his shield cracking again.

"Mmph!" He gasps for breath. "You are strong!" And scary. "Would make a great hero!" They could use that scary against villains. Make them wet their pants.

"Like you?" Kuro scoffs. "I saw how welcomed you were. We could still work together," He grins, "buddy."

"Yeah, let's."

Kuro eyebrows scrunch together.

"As heroes." Phantom clarifies.

"I'm a villain!"

"You can be a hero!"

"SHUT UP!"

Phantom is thrown back. The shield holds but now he's on the ground pushing up. Kuro slams down on the shield standing over him, his insects buzzing around like noisy engines.

"You think a hero would do this!" Kuro shoots out to the fleeing crowd.

"AH!" The people fly from the explosions, falling onto the ground. Kuro grins as more of his blasts wreak havoc.

"NO!" Phantom screams in an uproar. He raises his shield in a burst of strength causing Kuro to stumble and fall onto his hands and knees.

"Ha!" Kuro laughs, eyes meeting Phantom's. "Still think we're the same, hero?"

"Mom!" A boy's cry turns both their heads. They see a small boy, with a bee quirk, crying in front of a convenience store. He has two big brown eyes, three smaller ones at the end of his forehead. Two small antennas stick out his head. His tiny triangular wings flapping in a low buzzing noise. He rubs one eye as his other hand reaches out to a man standing up from where he fell down.

"Where's my mom?" The boy asks grabbing onto the man's hand.

"Ah!" The man retracts his hand in disgust. "Don't touch me!" He pushes the boy onto his butt and runs.

Phantom eyes move to Kuro from the growl he makes. He looks livid. Saliva dripping from his lips and fists clenched tightly.

"Mom!" The bee boy cries harder.

"Taehyung?" A woman stirs awake from where she was caught in one of Kuro's blasts. She stands up, wobbling, and sees her son.

"Taehyung." She shuffles towards him. She sees small bits of dust and rock fall from the building next to the convenience store. The building begins to crack and give way.

"TAEHYUNG!" She screeches as she sprints for her child. She throws herself over him as a large piece of the building falls down over them.

The woman curled up in a ball, peeks her eyes open when she feels nothing. She sees a swarm of insects moving the piece of debris onto the ground next to them. She watches the insects join back with Kuro.

She stands with her child in her arms, looking on in confusion.

"Yes," Phantom draws Kuro's eyes back to him. "I still think we're the same, hero."

Kuro punches Phantom's shield in retaliation.

"You know nothing about me!"

"I know," Phantom takes a breath, "you saved that mother and child."

"So? I decide who lives and dies. They lived simply because I didn't feel like watching them get crushed. I'd rather kill them myself."

"No." Phantom challenges him. "I think you saw yourself in the boy. I think just like the boy, you were pushed away and left crying, alone and hurt."

"You think me so pathetic!"

"Not pathetic. Mistreated. What that man did was wrong. It's not fair to treat a boy like that just because of his quirk. You're a boy, not your quirk."

"What's unfair is letting scum like that live!" He slams both fists down on the shield. "What's unfair is how people turn a blind eye. Never doing anything to help! Always just watching! Waiting for the bug boy to die! Well they should have died! They all should have died! I didn't want to die! I wanted to live! I wanted to be left alone! I just wanted! I just wanted to! To!"

"To be." Phantom finishes for him.

Ghost boy stills, his head hanging down.

"Bug boy doesn't get that luxury."

"Bug boy's not who you are though. You have a name."

"Why do you care so much about my name?"

"Because it's your name. It's important. The name you were given by your parents. Not the one your bullies name you. Not the one society names you. Not even the one you name yourself. I want to know your name. So, I can call you and ask you properly if you want to go eat some ice cream."

"Are you obsessed with ice cream?" Kuro lifts an eyebrow in judgment. His insects stop buzzing, slowly dispersing.

"No," Phantom shrugs. "I actually prefer strawberry cream cake, but that was the first thing that popped into my head."

"You're weird."

"I get that a lot." He smiles.

"All that stuff you said." Kuro looks him in the eyes again. "About my quirk. You actually think it's cool?"

He was listening, Phantom mouth opens in awe, recalling the night he sat rambling about his problems and Kuro's quirk.

"Yes." Phantom states in absolute certainty.

Kuro narrows his eyes and says, "You screamed when you saw me."

"That's because you looked creepy." Phantom replies in defense. "It was dark, you have black holes for eyes, and the bugs were crawling all over you. You gotta admit that would freak anyone out. People are just naturally freaked out with insects. We like to pet dogs and swat flies. And you attacked me so…but like I said. It'll take some time getting used to. If you leave the creepy bits for the villains, it'd make things easier."

Kuro backs up, getting his insects to stand down. Phantom slowly puts away his shield, staggering up.

"I can make them small." Kuro says as he calls his own insects back into himself. He leaves only one insect out at the tip of his finger. It was round with short stubby legs.

"Small things always look cuter, no matter what it is." Phantom looks on in approval.

"So," Kuro shoves his hands in his pockets. "You gonna arrest me now, hero?"

"No." Phantom scratches his cheek. "And it's not like I can anyway. You'd just phase out of the cuffs. And the car."

"Then what?"

"I don't suppose you'd like to stay and be a hero with me?"

"No." Kuro turns away. "I may not kill people, but I'm not about to go fight villains and save crying kids."

"You kind of did already."

"Any MORE kids."

"Alright, Kuro. I won't force you."

"Hm." Kuro takes flight.

"Wait!" He lifts off as well. "Where are you going?!"

Kuro remains silent as he flies all the way back to the forest. He drops down in front of the portal.

"You're leaving?" Phantom realizes.

"This isn't my world."

"It could be." Phantom offers.

"Nah," Kuro shakes his head. "Too sappy."

"We could at least go for some ice cream before you go."

"Again with the ice cream." Kuro sighs.

"Coffee? Tea?"

"Pass." Kuro waves a hand.

"Alright." Phantom sags his shoulders in dejection. "I just thought it'd be nice to talk to a ghost. You're the first real one I've seen."

"And I won't be the last." Kuro warns. "Not every ghost is just going to stop and go back home like me. They'll keep attacking. You may have hurt me in our first fight, but you can't kill me. Ghosts can't kill each other. In my world, we reform back to where we live. I would guess, if we get blasted in this world, we would just reform back in our world. If I were you, I'd figure out how to close this portal or find a way how to keep us contained."

"I'm working on that." Well, he was, until Kuro showed up. Although, he didn't really have any clue as to how to go about doing any one of those things. He's not going to say that though.

"Good." Kuro steps up to the portal. "Listen," He looks back, "I stumbled across this portal by accident. I can keep others away from it but I'm not going to act as a guard and protect the portal with my life. I'm not as heroic as you think."

"That's more than enough, thanks!" Phantom beams.

"Yeah, whatever." Kuro pulls up his hoodie.

"I hope to see you again Kuro!"

"I won't come back."

"Well, in case you do. I stay on the beach over there most nights." He points in the direction of Dagobah beach. "I'd be more than happy to talk with you!"

"Like I said, I'm not coming back. But…" The black recedes from Kuro's eyes, revealing greyish pupils.

So he does have eyes!

"Thanks." Kuro steps inside. "And my name's Shino."

Phantom's face lights up.

"Take care Shino!" He grins wide, waving goodbye. "It was nice meeting you. Minus the attacking part."

Shino's lips turn up in a small smile, then he disappears into the portal.

"Shino." Phantom repeats. "That suits him." He smiles walking away. Something tingles on his face. He smacks it, looking at his hand.

He sees a group of insects scurrying about in a frenzy.

"GAH!" Phantom shrieks, jumping back into the rubble. He crashes into it hard, his head getting stuck with his butt sticking up in the air. He hears the echoing laughs of Shino fade away.

"SHINO!" Phantom yells, blasting out of the rubble.
