Chapter 1: Star, Diamond, Gold, Stone, Tusk, and Wet
"Where... am I?"
Young 4-years-old Midoriya Izuku is currently incredibly confused. Ever since his friend, Bakugou Katsuki, acquired his own quirk just yesterday, he had been excited to manifest his own quirk as well. The doctor had told him that he was going to get a quirk as well, so he was excited enough that it took him a long time to fall asleep (as well as rewatching All Might's debut clip about a hundred times more). It was then that he woke up, and he wasn't in his room anymore.
Instead, he was inside this... room of some sorts. Given the piano in the middle, it was probably some kind of music room. There was chairs inside, a bookshelf in the corner with various books, a computer, though it looked very antique, and a couple of snacks, like a bar of chocolates and an orange juice. The room looked functional, though it looked quite old.
This wasn't the strangest thing about this room, though. The strangest thing about the room was its inhabitants.
There are five males and one female in the room, all of them looking like they were late teenagers or young adults. Two of them were wearing what looked like school uniforms, though they were very... unique. One had a strange hat where he didn't know where the hat ends, and the hair starts, and was very intimidating in his opinion, while the other had a pompadour that looked... cool in Izuku's opinion. Another boy was wearing this purple shirt with an opening in his chest and had blonde hair with a weird hairstyle (Izuku is curious how he manages to curl those things perfectly). There was also another man there who was wearing light blue sleeveless shirt and pants and had blonde hair as well which is covered by a hat with a horseshoe. The most normal looking male among them was wearing a sailor outfit.
The only woman among them had a green hair mixed with black. As for her clothes, Izuku couldn't even begin to describe the clothes. She's also wearing a sleeveless top, though her belly was exposed. Her pants had this... spider-web design.
They were also looking around the room, so they were probably also all confused as to what they were doing there. As Izuku asked that question, it was the man with the pompadour who answered him.
"To be honest, I don't know either." he said. "None of us knows."
"I do know where we are." the girl spoke up. "Though I have no idea why or how we're here."
"Hm? You know this place, Jolyne?" the intimidating man spoke, addressing the girl who was apparently named Jolyne.
"Huh? Oh yeah, you never visited this room, Dad. Yeah, I know this room. It's Empo-"
Before the girl can continue speaking, the man with the pompadour interrupted her and turned to the intimidating man.
"D-Dad? Wait, that's your daughter, Jotaro-san?!"
"Yes, she is my daughter, Josuke. Let's talk later, Jolyne was about to say something."
Jotaro-san is Jolyne-san's dad? But they look like the same age!
Izuku was confused by that, but he didn't say anything, still too stunned by what's going on.
"A-Ah, I'm sorry!" he quickly apologized.
"It's fine, though I'm surprised you know this guy. Anyway, yeah, this place is Emporio's stand." Jolyne answered
"That kid's stand?" Jotaro asked.
"Yeah, his stand can manifest the ghosts of rooms that have been destroyed." Jolyne explained.
Stands? Isn't that a quirk? Is that what they call a quirk?
"What an interesting ability." the blonde man with purple clothing spoke for the first time.
"So, is this kid Emporio?" Josuke asked, and Jolyne shook his head.
"No, Emporio's much older than him." Jolyne answered, then turned to Izuku. "Hey, kid, what's your name?"
"M-Midoriya Izuku." he stammered out an answer.
"Did you do this?" she asked further in a gentle tone.
"N-No... I don't think so." the boy answered.
"What is the last thing you remember before coming here?" Jotaro asked him.
"I..." Izuku was about to tell them, but then all six of the people inside the room suddenly clutched their heads in pain, making Izuku concerned for their well-being.
"Argh!"
"A-Are you okay?!" he asked them. They couldn't answer him, but they all gestured that they were fine. Eventually, they all settled down, then stared at Izuku for a moment.
"These are..." the man in the sailor suit muttered.
"It looks like we have some understanding on what's going on now." the blonde man with the purple clothes said.
"Maybe we should introduce ourselves first before we move forward." the man in the sailor suit said, and the others agreed. Jotaro started first.
"I'm Kujo Jotaro."
"Yo, I'm Higashikata Josuke."
Izuku noticed the man in the sailor suit being startled by this, but didn't say anything.
"My name is Giorno Giovanna."
"You're Italian? You don't look like one." Josuke asked him.
"I was born and raised in Italy, but my parents are not Italian as far as I remember." he said, earning nods from everyone there.
"I'm Kujo Jolyne."
"My name is Johnathan Joestar, though you can just call me Johnny."
"Johnathan Joestar...? The pictures I remember of Johnathan does not look like you, and I remember him being British. You have an American accent." Jotaro said.
"I don't know what you're talking about. I have always had this accent, and I don't remember changing appearances." he replied.
"Hmm..." Jotaro hummed to himself, but didn't say anything as he the final person there introduced himself.
"I am... Higashikata Josuke." he said, causing everyone to be stunned.
"Wait, you have the same name as me?! How?" Josuke (the one with the pompadour) asked in shock.
"I was given this name by Yasuho, then I was adopted by the Higashikata family. In truth, due to the mysterious powers of the Locacaca fruit, I am actually the fusion of two people, Kujo Josefumi and Kira Yoshikage." he answered.
"Kira?!" Josuke exclaimed, but before he can react further, Jotaro stopped him.
"Wait, Josuke! Let us talk about this later. For now, let's address the current issue." he said. The boy calmed down, then they all turned to Izuku again.
"Let me be the one to explain." Giorno said. "Earlier, there were these... memories that came in our minds. Your memories, Izuku, as well as a strange... knowledge."
"My... memories?"
"Yes. It seems that all of this..." he gestured around. "... is caused by your quirk."
"My quirk?!" Izuku exclaimed excitedly, but Giorno calmed him down.
"Yes. Your quirk pulled our souls here, and granted you our powers." he continued.
"Your... powers? You mean those stands you were referring to?" Izuku asked, still confused about their stands.
"Stands are the manifestation of a person's will and fighting spirit. It can take any shape or form, and they have abilities unique to the user." Jotaro explained, and Izuku honestly found them cool. They're like quirks, though they're not biological!
"We don't know the rules of your quirk exactly; we just know that we'll be granting our powers to you." Giorno said. "We simply hope that you will use our abilities for good."
"Of course, I will! I want to be just like All Might! To save people with a smile on my face! To give people hope!" Izuku declared innocently, yet with determination. This declaration elicited a smile off of everyone's faces.
"I'm sure you would be able to, kid!" Josuke said
"Since you are gaining our powers, let us explain each one." Jotaro said, and all of them nodded,
"Star Platinum is a close-range stand, around 2 meters, which has incredible physical capabilities as well as the ability to stop time for 5 seconds."
"What does close-range stand mean?"
"The longer the range of a stand, the farther it can travel away from the user."
"I see. Star Platinum is just like All Might but can also stop time! There's also that incredible precision you said Star Platinum has... I'm sure you can use it for aiming projectiles... I wonder if the time stop can be extended... What is Star Platinum's maximum power...?"
As the boy continued to mutter out loud, the Joestars all looked oddly at each other.
"We're going to see that a lot, aren't we?" Jolyne said.
"I'm sure we will..." Jotaro replied.
"Crazy Diamond is a close-range stand as well. Like Jotaro-san, it has incredible physical capabilities, but instead of time stop, I can restore things to a previous state, though I can't use it on myself."
"Woah! Crazy Diamond can be used to heal people! I wonder what the limit to your restoration is..."
"Besides the fact that I can't use it on myself? I can't raise the dead with it." he said.
The sorrow on his voice was obvious, but no one commented on it out of sympathy.
"Is the restoration physical? Like if you took a bite out of an apple, can you just restore it to a regular apple, or can you restore that apple to a seed?" Giorno asked.
"I can probably restore an apple back to a seed, though I never really tried it. I once turned a cooked spaghetti back into its raw ingredients, after all. Raw meat, tomato, and uncooked pasta, all that stuff." Josuke answered, while almost everyone else looked at him in confusion.
"What did you do that for?" Johnny asked.
"I thought we were being attacked by an enemy."
Josuke-san restored a spaghetti to its raw ingredients because they thought they were being attacked by a villain? That's... weird.
"Gold Experience is a stand that allows me to give life to anything. I can essentially convert any inorganic object to an organic object." Giorno explained.
"You can do a lot with that! You can heal people like Josuke-san, too, and there are many versatile uses for it!" Izuku said.
"Yes, it has helped me a lot." Giorno said. "I do have another ability, but it would be quite complicated to explain... Once you're older, I'll tell you."
"Aww!"
"Stone Free is another close-range stand that can essentially turn my body into strings that I can manipulate, though unravelling myself too much wouldn't be good for me." Jolyne explained.
"Hmm, another cool power! How durable are your strings, Jolyne-san?"
"They're more durable than regular strings, I guess, but they're not unbreakable. It also affects me if those strings are damaged, since they are essentially my body."
"I see."
"Tusk is a long-range stand that converts my nails into bullets utilizing the power of the Spin. It has four different stages of evolution that grows in power with each stage." Johnny said.
"Like Koichi's stand, huh?" Josuke murmured.
"The Spin?" Giorno asked.
"It is a power that utilizes the concept of the golden ratio. It is quite complicated to explain." Johnny said. "Though, with this power, one can even wield infinity."
"Do I have to learn Spin, Johnny-san?" Izuku asked.
"It's likely. I'll just teach you how it works so that you can use my abilities too, Izuku."
"Thank you!"
"Soft & Wet is a close-range stand that can produce bubbles that have a variety of abilities, like Plunder, which can steal an object or properties of an object, First Bomb, which can explode on contact, and Go Beyond, which utilizes the Spin as well to further enhance its capabilities, and making it so that the bubbles do not exist in the world." the other Josuke explained.
"That is... a lot." Josuke (with the pompadour) replied. "Those First Bomb bubbles sounds a lot like Kira's..."
"What's the extent of what you can Plunder? And what does it mean by the bubbles not existing?" Jotaro asked.
"I can Plunder almost anything, but I cannot permanently take anything. I can simply take them and then give them back later. As for Go Beyond, it just simply means that the bubbles do not physically exist, but they still affect the world at large."
"Sounds complicated."
"It does."
"All of your abilities are so amazing! I promise to learn as much as I can about them to be a great hero!" Izuku said as their explanations finish.
"I am certain that you can do it, Izuku." Giorno said with a soft smile on his face. "For now, you need to return to sleep. We can start training you on our abilities tomorrow. For now, relax and enjoy your sleep."
"Thank you everyone!"
"Don't tell anyone about us for now. I don't know how people will react to us. It may be dangerous. Reveal us only when the time is right." Jotaro said to Izuku.
"I promise. Goodbye, everyone!" Izuku bid his farewells, before disappearing from the room entirely. The Joestars then turned to each other.
"We should discuss our experiences with each other so we can clear up what's going on between all of us." Johnny said.
"Yeah!"
And with that, they all started to discuss. By the end of it, everyone now has a clearer understanding of each other.
"All this alternate universe shit is confusing." Jolyne said as she pointed towards the Johnny and Josuke.
"It is confusing to me as well, but it explains a lot." Josuke said. "Anyway, it seems that your version of Kira Yoshikage is more villainous than the one in ours."
"Yeah. That fusion thing with the fruit is confusing. You didn't have to share about you having four balls, though!"
"It was direct proof of me being a fusion of two people." Josuke said
"But still!"
"Yeah, there's also that thing with the Holy Corpse. It's different from ours with that stand arrow." Jotaro said.
"Granting a stand for those that are worthy, huh? Sounds quite draconian to me." Johnny said.
"I'm just complaining how the four of you got such powerful stands, while both me and Jolyne-san didn't have that!" Josuke with the pompadour explained.
"If I had somehow evolved my stand, I could have beaten the shit out of Pucci." Jolyne joined in, much to the exasperation of Jotaro.
"Anyway, does everyone here agree to help the kid?" Josuke with the pompadour said with a smile, and everyone raised their hands.
"He deserves it. He needs our help to become a hero." Giorno simply said.
"Yeah, we'll support him the best we can!" Josuke (with the pompadour).
All of them turned to the direction where Izuku was standing in the room, and all of them had one thought.
Midoriya Izuku, good luck.
