AND THAT was the end of Wonhee's memories.
Why did it have to end there?
I still have so many questions!
"What's wrong, Wonhee-ya?" Yejun asked worriedly. "You look upset."
"The memories that the System showed me ended in a cliffhanger," Wonhee complained lightly. "It ended when you finally arrived."
"Me?" Yejun asked, pointing at himself. "Where were we, and why was I late?"
"Why do you look upset?"
"Because it seems like I made you wait in that memory."
"Oh, that you did."
Yejun frowned, obviously unhappy by what his other version did in a different timeline. "Why was I late?"
Wonhee paused for a moment, and then she gave the full context even though she knew it would only make Yejun more upset with himself. "Actually, I died before you."
She really didn't want to confess that.
But she also didn't want to have several secrets from him.
One is enough.
As expected, Yejun's face darkened immediately. "I let you die?"
