Daniel lay on his king size bed in his room. He had stayed in that position all through the night. His eyes were closed even though he was not sleeping.
He couldn't care less about Adrian, but the reason for him being in a depressed state was Elena. It's like he was enchanted by her.
He could no longer picture her as the heartless lady he met years ago. He ensured that no one disturbed him.
The moment his phone rang, he felt a killing intent surge through his body. "Didn't I ask that motherfucker not to call me?" He said angrily, staring at the name 'Wilson' written on the phone screen.
"What do you want? Didn't I ask you to leave me alone?"
"I know Sir, bu... But... You're on the news." Wilson said in fright, not knowing how to explain things to his boss when he's angry.
"So what? I'm on the news every time." Daniel said nonchalantly. He didn't want to deal with any matter concerning the press. All he needed was some time alone for him to get his thoughts together.
