Finals from Hell: No Mercy
Hitoshi and Manga sat across each other on the bus. Both were getting ready for their final exam. Each had his reasons to pass. For Shinso, it was to prove that he can indeed stand on the leg as those with flashy quirks, while Manga wanted to prove that his training for an entire trimester wasn't wasted for nothing.
Hitoshi looked at his teammate and said, "For starters, I'd like to apologize regarding how my future classmate acted. It wasn't heroic nor was it acceptable."
The bubble-headed boy then replied, "No sweat dude, I can't hold you accountable for what he did. If I do that, I'd have to hold Midoriya accountable for every time Tokage takes it too much with her teasing…" He stopped a little bit thinking of something, "Though, send your classmate a message that says he needs to take that stick out of his ass or we'll have to shove it further inside should he ever cause another one of our friends to cry."
Hitoshi nodded his head, "Don't worry about that, I was planning to do it anyway." He shook his head remembering how Iida acted during his test, "On the other hand, we need to have a strategy to pass our exam because I have an idea how might be against us."
The bubbled-headed boy then gulped, "It's Present Mic, isn't it?"
Shinso nodded his head, "It makes sense for him to be our opponent since he already knows how my quirk is used, and his voice is strong enough to blow anything use down the drain."
Manga nodded his head awkwardly saying, "Yeah, this isn't going to be easy, is it?"
Shinso nodded his head, "As easy as fighting a wild bull on a rampage. This is what we're dealing with. I heard from Eraserhead that he almost made his parents go deaf when he first cried."
Manga gulped as he pulled at the neck of his suit with steam coming out of it, "Yeah, this is by no means going to be easy," he then thought of something, "But perhaps I could try this new thing, I've been working on." Hitoshi arched his eyebrow in curiosity but decided against it to keep the element of surprise on their side.
They finally reached the testing area and deported the bus. Their testing area seemed another part of the U.A. forest that surrounded the school. Both students looked at each other and entered the area walking carefully to suppress their presence so they can get the drop on the hero testing them. Hitoshi decided to use the trees to better hide himself and be able to get the drop on Mic.
He looked at his teammate and asked him in sign language, "Do you see or hear anything? Everything seems fine to me from where I'm standing. In fact, the place seems too quiet."
The bubble-headed boy nodded his head, "Yeah, something is definitely quiet. I think we need to hide further inside the forest to be able to find him." Hitoshi nodded his head when they both heard a high-pitched sound coming through the entire area. They looked back at the source of the sound.
Another then came, and they saw that the sound came from the front. It came from the path that they came from. Shinso cursed under his breath, "Damn it. He must have been waiting outside."
Manga then said, "We still have a fighting chance. We just need to corner him." Shinso nodded his head, but another small sound came this time hitting the tree causing it to shatter into pieces.
Manga then said, "Dude, I heard that he had a strong quirk, but this is downright ridiculous."
Hitoshi nodded his head examining the tree as another tree shattered beside them, "This tree seems it imploded. I think he somehow managed to concentrate the sound blast causing it to snap and shatter like a twig. He must have upgraded his gear." They didn't know why, but they felt the need to kick Izuku in the nuts when they managed to pass the final exam.
Manga then looked at Shinso and asked him, "How good are you in hand-to-hand fighting?"
Shinso looked at him and began to remember the torture Eraserhead put him through in the name of training, "I know that I'm good enough, but it's still a small grain of sand compared to Present Mic." The bubbled-head boy had a joyous emoji face appearing in his thought bubble and began to explain his plan to Shinso which caused the other boy to smirk knowing that they did have a chance to defeat the voice hero after all.
They discussed a quick plan, but were knocked out of their thoughts by a huge sound wave, "WHERE ARE YOU, LITTLE HEROES? IF I WAS A VILLAIN, I WOULD HAVE AT LEAST KILLED AN ENTIRE NEIGHBORHOOD BY NOW. DON'T TELL ME THAT YOU'RE AFRAID OF ME."
Both boys then ran to face off-against Mic. When they arrived at the front, Mic looked at them and said with a small smirk, "There you are." He then smiled a little, "I thought you guys ran away, so how about we began this party ALREADY?" he finished his sentence with a sound attack, but once it came out of his mouth, Manga did something to disable it.
The boy then said, "SSSHH" Suddenly everything inside the area they were in became quiet.
The hero tried to yell to break the quietness of the place, but nothing came out. He remembered during the briefing that Manga's quirk affected its environment. 'I didn't think he can do this. I don't think this is favorable for me, but…' he looked at both students and smirked, '…I'm still a pro after all.'
The hero tilted his head just in time to avoid a kick from Shisno, before ducking under his scarf to avoid being captured.
The purple-haired boy then aimed a right hook at the man who ducked under his fist. Shinso then sent out a piece of his scarf and managed to grab Mic's leg. The boy pulled on the scarf causing the man to the ground groaning in pain.
The voice hero collected himself quickly and rolled away just in time to avoid an axe kick by Shinso. The hero then grabbed the scarf and pulled the boy toward him, but the boy used this to his advantage and gave a killer upper hook into the hero's chin.
Present Mic was shocked and honestly, he began to feel a little bit weirded out with all the silence.
The hero didn't have too much time to muse on his thoughts, because Shinso kept on his assault going for a right hook, but Present Mic grabbed it before twisting the boy's arm and putting him in a chokehold with his elbow. Shinso then threw his leg backward hitting the man in his family jewels causing him to fall in absolute agony and pain.
The hero quickly gathered himself and powered through the pain just in time to avoid a kick from Manga. The hero drove his fist into the bubble boy's gut, but the boy proved to be stronger holding in the pain and not making any sound to destroy the silence zone he made.
This caused Present Mic to become uncomfortable. His quirk urged him to be as loud as possible. For him not to be able to make any sound was torture. The hero lost focus for a moment as Shinso kicked him in the face followed by a punch from Manga.
The hero then gathered himself and began to defend himself from the boys' onslaught against him.
In the observation room, everyone was shocked at how both boys were controlling the flow of the fight. Izuku then began writing inside his small notebook, "Incredible! They got Present Mic jumping on the rooms like he's some circus animal." He saw Shinso using his scarf around Mic's head and throwing the hero to the ground.
Momo then added, "And the technique Fukidashi-san used is nothing, but brilliant. Sure, it's a double-edged sword, but they're making it work against Mic-sensei."
Setsuna then added, "Don't forget that both are coordinating their attacks keeping Mic-sensei on the defensive rather than the offensive. I guess that this fight was relatively easy."
All three of them and the other students heard Recovery Girl chuckle a little bit, "Oh dearies, this is only happening because Yamada isn't going serious yet," the old heroine then looked at the screen and added, "But given how desperate he seems to be right now, you'll friends are about to feel his wrath." This made the three students look back at the screen wondering what might happen next.
Back in the examination place, Present Mic finally had enough. He then let out a yell that managed to pierce Manga's field of silence, "AHHHHHHH"
The voice hero then sighed in relief, "Man, finally…" The hero dropped to the ground kissing it. The hero students looked at him with a weird look as Shinso smirked, "Must be liberating to speak? Tell me more about it?" the hero opened his mouth to speak, but quickly smacked a hand on his mouth. Manga seeing that Shinso failed then yelled, "BOOM, BOOM"
Two explosions occurred hitting Mic and causing the hero to roll on the ground. The hero groaned as he opened his mouth and unleashed a huge yell, but both boys jumped away from it.
Manga then said, "FWOOSH" A stream of strong wind blew at the hero forcing him to fly off the ground and slam him into a tree. The hero looked and saw Shinso's scarf wrap around his arm. The boy then used all his strength to force Mic up the tree causing him to slam into a branch.
The purple-haired boy then said, "This must have hurt, didn't it?" the boy didn't get an answer as Present Mic ran toward him and gave him a harsh kick in the gut making Shinso cough from pain.
The hero couldn't capitalize on this since Manga unleashed another attack against him. This cycle contained for 5 more minutes till Mic finally snapped and yelled, "Enough"
Both boys were thrown back into the forest with the hero panting in anger. Mic then calmed down, "Wow, those two really put me in the wringer. I feel so much pain." He then rubbed his cheek, "Why did both of them insist on going after the face? And why kicks another guy on the nuts?"
Back in the forest, the hero students were groaning in pain as they pulled themselves from the ground. Manga then said, "Well, that could have been better. What are going to do now?"
Shinso smirked pulling something from his uniform and putting it above his mouth, "We win."
Back with Mic, the hero was standing in front of the gate whistling when he saw Manga coming forward with his hands raised, "I give up. There's just no way to fight you."
The voice hero frowned a little at his student giving up, but then smiled saying, "No problem, little listener. It's a good thing to know when you fail. Vlad will make lessons to help you be better next time." He then noticed his student shaking his head in sadness.
The student hero then asked, "Does this mean I'm not going to the summer camp?"
The hero opened his mouth and said, "I'm so…" The hero then froze in his place as he heard Manga's voice, "Thanks sensei. You helped me a lot by lowering your guard." Shinso then came out removing the device from his mouth, "Thanks Present Mic for the assist."
The hero student walked up to the man and handcuffed him as the speaker went out saying, "Hitoshi Shinso and Manga Fukidashi have passed the final exam."
Shinso fell to the ground breathing a sigh of relief, "Thank god. I passed."
Shinso then flicked Mic on the top of his head, "Wake up, sleeping beauty." The hero shook his head a little bit, "I hope you got a nice experience being controlled by my quirk."
Mic shivered a little bit but then steadied himself, "I have to say that I didn't expect this from you of all people." He then looked at the device in Shinso's hand and asked, "What is this?"
Shinso smiled, "This is my voice modulator." Present Mic raised an eyebrow wanting to know more.
Before Fukidashi walked up to Present Mic, the bubble-headed boy asked Shinso, "And what in the world is that? Please tell me that your device will help us win."
Although Manga couldn't see it, he could feel Shinso smirking. The purple-haired spoke, but Manga heard his voice coming through, "With this device, I will win us the fight." The boy then spoke using his voice, "I requested this device a while back. Right after the exams were announced and Aizawa told me that I will participate in them. This device allows me to change my voice into someone else's on the condition that the voice is stored inside its memory."
Manga nodded his head, "Alright, so what's the plan now?" Shinso smirked as he told the boy his plan. After that, it was only the careful execution of their plan.
Present Mic whistled, "Wow, that's some serious tech here, but good work on your end Shinso. You showed good work, teamwork, and smart usage of your quirk." He then looked at Fukidashi, "You did great too. Your first move was truly impressive. Nice work and keep up the good work."
The teacher then said, "Well, let's head back to the observation room." Both students nodded their heads walking alongside their teacher to the bus that will take them back to the school.
In the teacher's room, Vlad patted Eraser on the back, "Well, look at that. Your student managed to pass after all." He then pulled a small party horn and blew in Aizawa's face making the sleepless man irritated, "We're going to have a party for him today."
Aizawa looked at him, "No, he needs more hand-to-hand training. The lessons weren't enough."
Thirteen looked at him, "Man, you're such a downer. Let the kid have his day in the sun."
Aizawa glared at her but the heroine replied, "I already stared death in its eye at the USJ when quirk almost ripped me apart. Your glare hardly counts as anything fearful."
Aizawa deflated as other faculty members laughed at his misfortune. Nezu then waltzed into the room and said, "Everyone, pay up. I win the dating pool. Young Yanagi asked Young Shinso on a date after her exam so that means I won the bet."
All the teachers groaned handing Nezu the money with Vlad saying, "Man, I was 100% percent sure that Tokage will ask Midoriya on a date before any other girl have the guts to tell their crush that they liked them."
Midnight interjected, "You're wrong. Midoriya won't date Tokage. He'll date Uraraka." Everyone looked at her with a bored look. For someone who claims to be a shipping queen back in her days, she sure can't tell one from two nowadays. The woman protested, "He saved her life in the entrance exam. This is a classical story where the girl meets the love of her life."
Aizawa replied, "I prefer that the student she will date is in my class so I make sure I can plant the fear of god into him." He might not approve of dating, but Aizawa loves his kids so when they date someone, he'll make the significant other understand what true fear is. He wasn't nicknamed Dadzawa for no reason. for all his bullshit, he truly loved his students.
In the observation room, the students swarmed Shinso chanting, "One of us, One of us, One of us…" The boy began to chuckle a little pushing them away, "Alright, I get it. I'm now one of you guys. One of the snotty hero brats who never worked a day in their life." He finished sarcastically.
Izuku walked up to him with his notebook, "Man, I really need to know what was that device that you used. It was so cool…" The green-haired boy went off on a tangent, but he was finally cut out of it when the speakers blared to life, "Yui Kodai from 1-B and Rikido Sato from class 1-A, please go to the bus that will take you to the examination site." The black-haired looked at the boy and frowned a little since the boy seemed to be rather wary of her causing her to sigh.
She looked at her friends and said, "Wish me good luck." She looked at Sato, "Let's go. We need to find a suitable plan to defeat any opponent we are being put up against by learning each of our abilities." The boy looked at her unsure but nodded his head.
Yui only rolled her eyes as they exited the room. Kendo then sighed, "This is going to end badly."
Somewhere else inside a dingy old bar, Tomura was tapping his hand on the table. He then looked at Kurogiri, "When will he come back? It's been a month already. What is he waiting for?"
Kurogiri replied, "Patience, young Tomura. I'm sure that Giran will come back to us with new strong members. Please don't allow your temper to mess with everything you built till now."
The blue-haired male sighed in frustration when suddenly the phone in the bar rang. Kurogiri answered and nodded his head. He then opened a portal from which Giran exited. The man dressed in purple talked, "I hope I didn't keep you waiting for too much time."
The blue-haired man wanted to yell, but he calmed himself down, "No, not at all. I mean what is one month's worth of waiting compared to the decades that I will rule."
Giran smiled, "Good." He then looked at Kurogiri and said, "Let us begin the presentation of your new teammates and players."
Kurogiri opened a portal as two people exited. The first one was a blond-haired girl with cat-like eyes who was wearing a schoolgirl dress. The second one was a male who looked like a macabre artwork of burnt skin and staples.
The purple-dressed man began, "The first one might look like your typical schoolgirl, but believe me when I say that she packs quite the punch and that she's a force to be reckoned with."
Tomura scoffed, "So what's so special about her?" the girl pouted a little before smiling again.
Giran carried on, "Well, you see the girl is Himiko Toga. She was an ordinary schoolgirl one day till she suddenly attacked her classmate and killed him drinking his blood. Have you ever heard about the vampire of Japan? The person who leaves people drained of their blood." Shigiraki nodded his head, "Well, you're looking at her. She is the one responsible for all those murders."
Tomura raised an eyebrow, but Himiko began talking, "My name is Himiko Toga. Living is hard and I want a place where I can live my life freely and without hardships." She then walked up to Tomura, "I heard that you met Stain. Do you have some of his blood? I love Mr. Stainy. I love him. I want to taste his blood. I want to be him." The girl then went on a tangent about blood.
Tomura grumbled under his breath, "Peachy, all the crazies get bunked with me. As if I needed more crazy people around with that quack doctor around."
The girl laughed at him grabbing his hand, "Can I have some of your blood? Please."
Tomura took his hand away, "Stop touching me. You almost died right now. I can't control my quirk." The boy rubbed his hand before he directed his attention to Giran again.
The man smiled and pointed to the burnt man, "This fellow of ours hasn't committed any flashy or big-time crimes yet, but he said he wanted to join your league."
Tomura began to eye him up and down, "Well, I'm waiting. Say something. Introduce yourself."
The man looked at Tomura, "Fine, but let this be clear. I came here because I heard that Stain joined your little league of cheerleaders, but I'm not impressed so far." The man then introduced himself, "My name is Dabi. My quirk is Blueflame to generate blue hot flames."
Tomura then said, "I want your real name genius. Who really are you?"
Dabi looked at him, "You'll eventually know my real name when I deem it to be the right time."
Toga approached Tomura, "Stain, I want his blood. Do you have some of his blood?"
Tomura then pushed her away, "No, I don't have his blood." He then looked at Giran, "Are there any more members that you found, or are those the only ones?"
Giran smiled, "Well, I have a few in mind, but I need to contact them first. Good luck with the ones I brought you."
Giran then took his money and left the place.
The blue-haired male then said, "Well, welcome to the League of Villains, I guess. Feel free to consider yourself at home or whatever you call home that is."
Toga then bounced up to him, "Does that mean I can drink your blood and cut you?" she then touched Tomura's face, "Because believe when I say that you will look cuter with blood all over your body." Tomura moved away from her swiping away her hands.
Kurogiri looked at his master and raised his nonexistent eyebrows. 'I imagined that young Tomura might explode from anger, but he's holding himself back really well. It seems he's learning.'
Dabi then scoffed, "What kind of place is this?" Tomura had a vein twitch on his forehead, "I thought this was a group that Stain worked with and wanted to carry his ideals, but if they can accept members like this, then it must be a hoax."
Tomura then said, "Hey, we accept anyone who wants change. It doesn't matter how they act."
Dabi then said, "So you accept anyone who's desperate enough to join you. Then you don't represent Stain's ideals." Tomura then had his patience snap.
The blue-haired male yelled, "And who do you think you are you half-burnt toast?"
Dabi then raised his hand and pointed at Tomura while the Tomura dashed toward him with his hand outstretched. Both were about to attack each other when Kurogiri made two portals sending the attacks to different areas. The mist man then said, "Please calm down, we're all on the same side and I'm sure that by the end of this, we'll all emerge victorious."
Both nodded their hands as another voice echoed through the place, "I agree with you, Kurogiri."
Both Himiko and Dabi felt chills travel down their spine as the voice addressed Tomura, "Young Tomura, these two are now members of your new army, so you should treat them with respect because they are now the elite that will stand beside you when you burn this world to the ground." Tomura merely nodded his head in acceptance.
Himiko and Dabi were now sharing the same thought, 'Who is this guy? His voice is strong that even from a distance, he forced us to submit to him.'
The voice then addressed them, "Young Toga and Young Dabi, I hope that you excuse Tomura. He's still learning how to lead." The man then added, "So there might be some problems on his end, but I hope for your sake that you don't cause any trouble for him." Both simply nodded their heads.
Back in U.A., the 1-B students except for Izuku and his friends glared at 1-A students as the results of the exam were announced, "Yui Kodai and Rikido Sato have failed their final exam. Medical robots will take them to the infirmary to heal their injuries."
Both Yui and Rikido were pinned against the speedy monster that is Gran Torino. Just seeing him made most of the 1-B students shake in their knees from fear remembering the torture that he put them through. This guy was a monster and was not to be taken lightly because of his age. That wasn't the problem in the exam.
The problem presented itself when Rikido was working with Yui very hesitantly. Always doing things a little bit too late. When they had the advantage over the man, he would look back and forth between helping Yui or not approaching her as if she was trying to sabotage him.
In the end, both students failed to capture the hero, even though Yui made a respectable dash to the gate tanking kicks from the hero to pass by escape, but in the end, she was as if she was the only one in this test. It was only then that the sugar hero realized how badly he missed up when he saw the girl being carried away by robots, but he can clearly see tears forming in her eyes.
When Sato entered the room, 1-B glared at him. He walked quietly toward his class, but even there he was grilled alive like a fish. Jiro walked up to him, "Dude, what the fuck was that? You looked like you were second-guessing everything that you were doing."
Sato lowered his head in shame, "I'm sorry, but I was afraid that she was trying to screw me over."
Momo replied, "Sato, this is her exam too. If she tries to screw you, she will harm her grade too." The girl walked around, "She must be devastated right now. All her hard work going down the drain."
Sato now felt like an absolute scumbag. He watched Iida's match and he swore not to repeat his mistake, but he allowed Kaminari's words about Midoriya's scheme to weaken 1-A to burrow its way to his mind. He tried to work with the girl, but every time he attempted that; Kirishima's voice would say, 'Bro watch out. This could be a trick for her to fail you.' This always caused him to hesitate, even when the girl tried to talk to him to keep his mind on the game.
The doors were now slammed open. They looked to see Yui with an unnaturally blank face. She calmly walked up to Sato and stood in front of him. She looked him in the eye and the boy flinched looking away. He then turned back to her, "Look, Yui. I want to say…"
He was silenced when the girl slapped him across the face, "Okay, I deserved that…" She then slapped the other cheek shocking everyone, "And I deserved that too…" Finally, she kneed him in a place where all men never want to be harmed causing him to squeak out in pain, "But no man ever deserves to be hit there." he then bent down to clutch his junk.
Yui then yelled, "YOU BUFFOON. DO YOU KNOW WHY MANY HOURS I STAYED ALL NIGHT WORKING ON MY FIGHTING METHODS? DO YOU EVEN COMPREHEND HOW MANY HOURS I SPENT TRYING TO FIND A WAY TO USE MY QUIRK TO THE MAX? AND HERE COMES THE FINAL EXAM ONLY FOR MY HARD WORK TO GO DOWN THE DRAIN DUE TO YOU. AND FOR WHAT…"
She then glared at both Kirishima and Kaminari, "BECAUSE OF SOME BRAIN DUDE IDIOTS WHY THINKS OUR CLASS ARE WORKING SOME CONSPIRACY TO TAKE OUT THEIR STRONGEST PLAYERS." She then looked at Sato who shrunk under her gaze, "AND YOU BELIEVING WHATEVER BULLSHIT COMING OUT OF THEIR MOUTHS. FUCK YOU AND CLASS 1-A AND EVERYTHING THEY STAND FOR."
The girl finished her rant taking deep breaths before stomping her way out of the room with Kendo following to make sure that she was okay.
A brief silence hang in the place as 1-B glared at 1-A. Momo then said, "I'm so very sorry for what happened. If I knew that they would escalate this silly feud of theirs to this level, I would have stopped them from the very start."
Izuku came forward, "Well… um… you see…" he then sighed, "Look, just try to see it never happens again, because my class is really pissed off right now, and I mean really pissed off."
The girl nodded her head before walking to her class. She then grabbed Sero and Kaminari in one hand, and Ojiro and Mineta in the other. They could see a vein on her forehead, "Listen here and listen good, you are going to play things by the book. Do I make myself clear or I swear I'll make you the newest test subject to my parents' support factory, get it?"
The boys nodded their heads in fear.
In the girl's bathrooms, Kendo walked into the restroom. She then yelled, "Yui, are you there?"
She heard soft whimpering coming from a bathroom booth. The girl walked to it, "Open up or I'm kicking it open." The door was then opened as Yui walked outside with tears staining her usually calm face. Kendo quickly hugged her, "Yui, it's alright. It's just an exam."
"You don't get it." Yui exclaimed, "I wanted to pass the exams." She wiped her tears, "I wanted to make my parents proud. I wanted to show them how far I've come only for this meathead to ruin everything." She looked at her legs.
"Yui, your parents will be proud regardless." Itsuka told her only to ask, "Are they putting pressure on you?" the normally quiet girl shook her head.
"My parents are the greatest in the world." Yui admitted, "I'm their only daughter and they always provide everything that I need; be it big or small. I feel like I'm supposed to be the best or at least provide the best for them. In junior high, I was always at the top of my class, but now I'm near the bottom." The girl said choking on her own tears.
Kendo hugged her tighter. She understood the girl's pain. She wanted to keep her parents proud of her. A feeling Kendo was too familiar with. She'd bet her favorite black belt that the girl went to Gunhead just to improve her skills in being a hero to make her parents prouder.
Itsuka spoke, "Yui, look at me." The girl looked up, "Did you ever tell your parents how you feel?"
The girl shook her head so Kendo said, "Yui, your parents will be happy when you're happy. Look I know that nothing can make you feel better right now, but stop putting impossible odds on your soul. Go and talk with your parents. Clear the air. Let yourself free of this huge burden. You're still 15 years old. There's really no need to have this much pressure hanging on your shoulders."
The quiet girl looked at Kendo and simply hummed a little. She wasn't sure what to do, but this is a starting point. Kendo then said, "Though I never expected you of all people to show such emotions. You normally look as cool as a cucumber."
The quiet girl blushed, "I'm usually like this, but I like to keep my emotions under check, so I sometimes get overwhelmed easily." Both girls stood up and left the bathroom as Yui went to make a phone call to her parents.
The speakers blared to life when Kendo reached the door of the observation room, "Itsuka Kendo and Yuga Aoyama, please report to that bus that will take you to your examination site."
The orange-haired girl took a deep breath, "Alright, here goes nothing." The girl walked outside and she saw a boy wearing armor admiring his own beauty in the mirror of the bus.
This caused the girl to gulp a little, 'Please, don't let him be my partner. Don't be my partner.'
The boy looked at her, "Oh, you must be my partner. I'm 'Can't Stop Twinkling' and I can't wait to work with you." The world felt her world shatter as he asked her, "How does my cape look?"
The girl sighed, "Let's get this show on the road. Come on, we need to talk strategy." She then grabbed the boy who was still admiring himself. The boy protested, but couldn't do anything against her strength. Once they were in, the hero students looked at each other.
Kendo cleared her throat, "I'll begin first. I'm Itsuka Kendo. My quirk is big fist. This allows me to enlarge my fist to a huge size, but lately, I found out I can separate my strength aspect and my enlargement aspect." She then looked at the boy and gestured using her hand, "And you?"
The boy then said, "I'm Yuga Aoyama and my quirk is navel laser. I can shoot laser from my stomach, but only for one second or I'll have tummy aches."
The girl then said, "Alright, I wish I would be able to determine the hero that we would be fighting, but there is no way to determine that."
She then looked outside the bus and said, "But then again, never say never because I now know who we're going to fight."
Aoyama raised an eyebrow, "And that would be?"
The orange-haired girl answered him with a question, "Who many rescue heroes that work in the USJ do you know?" the boy blinked a little and looked seeing that they arrived at the USJ.
The students exited the bus and walked inside the USJ as the speakers announced the beginning of their match. The hero students walked around, but they couldn't see anything or feel anyone.
The girl looked around. Her eyes were scanning everything from floor to roof. She then walked with Aoyama to the railing, but they still didn't find anything. Aoyama then looked around and said, "That's odd. By now, the teacher would have exposed themselves."
Suddenly, they heard someone speak, "Well, I took a piece from Present Mic's book and decided to walk into my reach." They looked and saw Thirteen behind them.
Aoyama then blasted a laser toward the hero, but Thirteen opened her glove absorbing the laser beam. The two students began to get dragged toward the heroine, but Kendo managed to grab the railing and helped Aoyama grab it too.
The girl looked at the heroine and formulated a plan to beat her. At the end of the day, Kendo knew from Izuku's notes that Thirteen isn't a combat hero, but a rescue hero.
She looked at Aoyama and said, "Look, when I manage to distract her. You should attack her."
The girl then let go of the railing sending herself flying toward the heroine who said, "Nice try, Kendo." She began to move her hand circularly before closing her quirk off sending Kendo flying toward the wall, "But I have new tricks up my sleeve thanks to your friend Midoriya."
The girl frowned, but she now had a determined look. She saw herself coming closer to the wall, so she used the wall as a platform to push herself toward the heroine. "I also got new tricks up my sleeve such as this." The girl enlarged her hands to their max size and focused her strength slamming her hands together and creating a small shockwave as she approached the heroine.
She then landed in front of Thirteen and grabbed her hand lifting it to the sky and punching her in her gut. This made the heroine lose her breath.
Aoyama then came in and handcuffed Thirteen. The speaker then announced, "Itsuka Kendo and Yugo Aoyama have passed their final test."
Thirteen then stood up, "You'll be fine they said. Just do it they said." The heroine grumbled under her breath given that her exam finished in almost 3 minutes. The fastest of all the exams so far. Even Cementoss's test took about ten minutes to be over.
The heroine then said, "Well, I suppose I have to say that you both did a good job here, so feel proud of yourselves."
The three then exited the building together.
Back in the teacher's room, Nezu frowned, "I suppose I should have seen this one coming. It would have made more sense to pin someone with less combat experience than Young Kendo against Thirteen given the former's martial arts prowess."
Aizawa then lifted Kendo's profile, "Itsuka Kendo, 5 times champion in the Junior Karate. And this is only karate that we're talking about." The nighttime hero examined her file even further, "it appears that she spent most of her childhood training in martial arts from Judo to Karate, to Jujitsu, and many more martial arts." He then clicked his tongue, "Damn it, I knew I should have fought harder for her." Vlad only chuckled from the side.
Vlad then said, "Well anyway, both our classes are doing fine except a select few from your class, Eraserhead." The nighttime hero groaned, "I thought you were going to fix this whole conspiracy of weakening your class by now? This mindset caused one of my students to fail." The blood hero stopped for a bit before adding, "Before you use any of your logical ruse bullshit, need I remind you that my student tried to work with yours, but he was always hesitating which is worse than outright refusing to work with her. A single moment of hesitation…"
Eraser cut him off, "I know. Hesitation will cause lives. As I said before, I thought that they would move over it. I didn't think they'd be completely brainwashed by it."
Nezu then added, "Well, you'll have to deal with it. One way or the other." Aizawa nodded his head. They all looked at the screen as the three arrived back at the observation room.
In the observation room, everyone swarmed Kendo. The girl blushed under the praise directed at her, "Guys, please. You're really embarrassing me." She looked away to hide her blush.
Ibara came first, "You had such a blessed match, Itsuka. You managed to defeat Thirteen in record time." The vine-haired girl hugged her before letting go.
Tetsu came next, "Man, Kendo. You were so manly." The boy put his arm on her shoulder, "You defeated Thirteen in no time. I mean even Cementoss took a lot of steam out of me."
Kendo blushed, "Well, thank you Tetsu, but really, it was nothing. I mean Thirteen was at a disadvantage given she isn't a combat hero. I mean if she had some experience in that regard the fight would have ended differently."
Tetsu added, "But still, she's a pro with many years of experience under her belt, so she must have had some idea on how to stop you in your tracks. Even so, you still managed to stop her."
The girl blushed heavily and kept her face down when she heard Setsuna say, "You know he's right. I think you did give us a very good fight today. You proved yourself to be a strong fighter."
Izuku chimed in, "Plus, your moves were really awesome and cool. I have new data for my notes."
Kinoko then said, "That's something you would do Izuku." She then looked at Kendo, "But he's right. Your new moves were amazing, Kendo. I really liked the hand slam thing."
Izuku then said, "Yeah, how did you do it? How strong are the slams? How did you create the shock wave? How much strength did you put in the hand clap? Can you create…" the green-haired boy continued to ask the girl questions much to her amusement.
The big-fist user then grabbed Izuku's head, "Breathe, Midoriya. Breathe." The boy looked at her, "Your face is turning blue from asking so many questions. Now breathe slowly."
Kinoko nodded her head, "Sometimes, I think I'm the one responsible for his state." The boy raised an eyebrow, "Let's just see, there were many accidents when I was testing my quirks that my family suffered lots of diverse effects."
Setsuna then said, "I want to ask, but I'm really afraid that I might suffer from it. I really am."
The speaker then came to life, "Kojiro Bondo from class 1-B and Mezo Shoji from class 1-A, please report to the bus that will take you to your examination site."
The two gentle giants of class 1-A and 1-B looked at each other before nodding and moving to the bus. The two looked at their respective class nodding their heads. They both then walked outside the room. Awase then said, "Well, I think this fight is going to be an epic one."
Momo then said, "I don't think so." Everyone looked at her causing her to blush, "Well, I mean that both of them are known to be gentle and nice, so I highly doubt that they will have an epic fight."
The students then looked at the screen wanting to see what will happen during this match.
On the bus, Mezo looked at his partner. He could tell that Kojiro was a little nervous so he coughed into his hand, "I think that I need to tell you that I'm not going to work against us in the exam like what happened with your classmate… Kodai, was it?"
The gentle giant of 1-B nodded his head, "Actually, I'm not worried about that, but I'm worried about who we might be facing off against. I mean it could be anyone even heroes from outside the school." The boy finished referring to Ragdoll's involvement.
Mezo nodded his head, "I know, but for now let's get to know each other better." The boy then introduced himself, "I am Mezo Shoji. My quirk is Dupliarms which allows me to generate sensory organs on my six arms such as mouths, eyes, ears, and noses."
Bondo muttered under his breath, "That seems to be an extremely good quirk." He then rubbed the back of his head, "Well, I'm Kojiro Bondo. My quirk is cementine which allows me to pore a fast-hardening glue."
The multi-armed boy nodded his head, "Good, good. This means I can find someone and you can catch him." He rubbed his chin and said, "Well, we still need to find who we are facing."
The hero students then reached the testing area. They both evacuated the bus and walked into the testing area. The hero students looked around for a bit with Shoji making new ears.
The giant of class 1-A rubbed the back of his head, "Do you think that he might be waiting for us to make it deep into the testing area before our opponent begins their move?"
Bondo then said, "I don't know, but I think this is plausible. Both Present Mic and Thirteen waited for both students to make it deep into the testing ground before attacking them."
The boy then saw something moving. He then yelled, "Dude, look at this. What are we going to do?" Mezo looked and saw something made from dirt coming near them.
"It seems that we're about to be attacked by some kind of dirt monster." The boy grabbed Bondo and jumped away. Bondo then used his quirk to hold the beast in its place as Shoji punched it hard enough to crack it into pieces.
The boys then said, "We need to escape." They both then began to run with Shoji making eyes on his arms to see where the gate might be.
They were shocked when they saw something fly toward them. The beast tried to grab Shoji, but the boy ducked and grabbed its legs and broke it. Bondo meanwhile dealt with another flying monster by dodging it and throwing his glue on its wings causing it to fall and break into pieces.
The hero students looked at each other trying to find a way to win this match. Suddenly Bondo yelled, "Run. Landslide incoming." Mezo looked and his eyes widened and his mouth behind his mask flew open. This wasn't going to be easy in any way.
The glue user then said, "Create as many arms as you can. We can't outrun it." The giant of class 1-A nodded his head as he used his quirk to create a huge dome over both students as the landslide buried them. If anything, it looked like they lost their fight.
When the landslide ended, it took 2 minutes for both students to leave the ground. Shoji cracked his neck, "This is one hell of an exam. We need to run to the gate." The two kids began to run away, but suddenly they saw a couple of entrance exam robots waiting for them.
They both attacked them. Mezo used his arms to rip apart two 1-pointers into shreds while Bondo used his glue to trap a 3-pointer and used its rockets to destroy about 10 robots.
It took 5 more minutes for them to be finished, but they looked and saw that they lost about half of the time. Mezo then said, "Come on. Let's move on."
They both heard roars coming from behind them. They looked back and sighed seeing two dirt monsters. They then did the only logical things their minds told them to do at the moment.
They ran away from the monster as fast as they can after Bondo glued them to the ground.
Back in the observation room, Izuku was whistling, "Wow, that must have gotten Pixie Bob from the WWP Cats. This is going one of the toughest matches. Her quirk is earth control which allows her to control dirt and ground to make forms out of them, cause landslides, and change the features of the area." Izuku then tapped his chin, "She's going to be one hard opponent."
Setsuna then asked, "So how much are their chances to pass the exam?"
Izuku shrugged, "Well, I think that their most feasible option is to run through the gates because even if they managed to trap Pixie Bob in Bondo's glue. She'll still use her quirk freely."
Momo nodded her head, "She's just like Ragdoll. She's using tactics to keep them distracted."
Ochako then added, "And those dirt monsters aren't making things any easier. I just hope they manage to survive and pass the test. They seem to be injured really bad."
Setsuna then added, "But look at the bright side," everyone looked at her, "If they managed to come out of that landslide, I think they can manage to win this thing." She then pointed at the screen, "It seems that they managed to come near the gate."
Kendo then pointed out, "It seems that you aren't the only one who noticed that." They look looked only to see a blond woman wearing a costume similar to Ragdoll riding on a dirt monster while laughing crazily. The girl looked at Izuku, "Are you sure that those two are heroes?"
Izuku nodded his head in confusion because he was not sure anymore at this point.
Back with the two students, they finally managed to reach the gates only to be greeted with a horrible site. There was a bunch of robots and dirt monsters waiting for them with a blond lady laughing, "She was right. This is fun." She then began eying both students up and down, "But after the exam is over, I need to make my claim on both of you." She then pointed at Shoji, "Especially you, big guy. I need a husband after all."
Shoji only muttered silently, "What the fuck is going on here? Or better yet, who the fuck are you?"
The woman smiled saying, "That's for me to know, and for you to find out." She then looked at her pets and robots, "Attack them. Prevent them from reaching the gates."
The robots and monsters quickly began swarming the students. Shoji then began producing new arms to smash the robots into small bits with Bondo's help who was gluing the monsters into the ground with his quirk.
Shoji then yelled at Bondo, "Go to the gates and escape. Don't forget the button." The boy then used his arms to grab two 3-pointers and rip them apart before using the missile launchers to make a safe path for Bondo to use.
The glue user nodded his head before sprinting toward the gate, but Pixie Bob called her monsters, "Stop the glue boy." The giant behemoths that didn't get caught in Shoji's onslaught attacked Bondo who began to dodge him gracefully like he was a ballerina.
The blond woman looked at him, 'What is he? Some kind of secret ballerina? He's so graceful with his steps. Everything is so coordinated. Hmm, kinda reminds me of Tiger.'
Bondo meanwhile was having one thought, 'I have to thank Mom for forcing me to take those ballerina lessons. Who knew today would be the day that they come in handy?'
The boy then decided to do something. He contained to dodge and maneuver around the rock giants slowly making his way closer and closer to Pixie Bob. The heroine noticed this and smirked, "Did you come here to have a rumble with me? I approve of you."
The woman readied herself for a fight and charged at the boy, but the boy instead used his quirk heavily on her catching her off guard. She was now confined to her spot.
She then said, "This won't stop me. I can still make my monsters." She looked up at the boy with a smirk as one formed behind him causing him to use his quirk on the dirt monster.
Once the monster was secured, he looked at Pixie Bob, "Well, let's see how you're going to use your monsters if you can't see anything." The boy then used his quirk to blind her.
The woman yelled in a panic, "Monsters attack him." The remaining monsters and new ones came after him, but they were destroyed by Shoji who just came back.
He looked at Bondo and nodded his head. Shoji was extremely tired at this point. He was fighting a one-man war against the giant golems. He couldn't blame Bondo since he told him to run to the gate. The boy made new arms, "Well, let's get down to it uglies."
The boy grabbed one flying monster and smashed into another dirt monster. Shoji then jumped onto the back of a dirt monster before leaping toward another one and crashing into it smashing it into small pieces. He then grabbed a huge boulder and threw it toward one destroying it.
Shoji looked at the gates and then back at Bondo who was near the gates but with a couple of dirt monsters following him. The boy using his quirk sensed an attack and sucked under it, "Come on, Bondo. I know you can do it."
Bondo looked behind him and threw another glob of glue at one of the monsters who tripped and crashed into his friend destroying them both. He looked and saw the gates making him smile.
The boy heard a roar forcing him to double speed toward the gates. He looked and saw only one minute left. He was sweating and his face was dry for overusing his quirk.
He ran for ten more seconds before reaching the gate. He slammed the reinforcement button which glowed red before throwing himself out of the gate. The speakers then announced, "Kojiro Bondo and Mezo Shoji have passed the final exam."
Bondo then fell to the ground catching his breath, "Oh man, we finally did. This woman is no joke."
Shoji noticed the huge monsters falling apart after hearing the announcement causing him to relax. The boy then heard Pixie Bob say, "Can someone free me? I'm still trapped here."
The boy went and helped her. The woman then stood up and said, "Good work, guys." The boy gave her a thumbs up before falling to the ground in exhaustion with medical robots arriving to take both boys to the infirmary. The woman then chuckled, "Perhaps I went too far."
She then left to look for her colleague who helped with the exams alongside her.
Back in the observation room, Sen whistled, "Wow, they didn't show them any mercy. Wonder what mine is going to be like?"
As if the universe wanted to answer him, the speakers announced, "Sen Kaibara from class 1-B and Hanta Sero from class 1-A, please report to the bus that will take you to the examination site."
Sero looked at him with an unimpressed look, "You just had to ask, didn't you?"
