Chapter 364 - 4

Chapter 04

Katsuki Bakugou stood in the middle of the dense forest, surrounded by towering trees and the sounds of nature. The sunlight filtered through the canopy, casting dappled shadows on the ground. He was drenched in sweat, his breath coming in heavy gasps. He was determined to push himself to the limit, to control his explosive quirk better than ever before. Each step he took was precise, each movement calculated as he tried to harness the power within him.

"Come on, Katsuki, you can do this," he muttered to himself, clenching his fists. He focused on the feeling of sweat trickling down his face, concentrating on the moisture and the explosion it could create. With a sharp inhale, he ignited a small blast from his palm, the force of the explosion sending a shockwave through the air. The sound echoed through the forest, startling a few birds into flight.

"Not enough control," he grumbled, wiping his brow. He needed to refine his technique, to make his explosions more precise and less chaotic. He positioned himself in front of a sturdy tree, envisioning a target on its trunk. "Let's try this again," he said, his voice filled with determination.

He extended his hand, focusing intently. He could feel the sweat pooling in his palm, the heat building up. With a quick motion, he released a controlled explosion, the bark of the tree splintering but not disintegrating. "Better," he acknowledged, though not entirely satisfied. He could feel the exhaustion creeping in, his muscles protesting the continuous strain. But he couldn't afford to stop. He needed to be stronger, faster, better.

Just then, the familiar beep of his phone cut through the quiet, the sound echoing in the forest. He had left it on a nearby training log, not wanting to be distracted. But the persistent beeping became impossible to ignore. Katsuki growled in annoyance, his concentration broken. He stomped over to the log, snatching up the phone with a scowl.

"What the hell is so important?" he muttered, unlocking the screen. A series of notifications lit up the display, all revolving around the same topic: Peanut, the Magical Girl. Katsuki's eyes narrowed as he opened one of the videos that had been sent to him.

On the screen, the purple-haired, purple-frilly-dressed girl was entertaining a group of kindergarten kids. She struck exaggerated poses, her weirdly wide eyes sparkling with joy. The children giggled and clapped, clearly enamored with her antics. Katsuki cringed, his lip curling in disdain. "What a joke," he muttered, shaking his head.

He scrolled through the comments, reading the effusive praise. "She's so beautiful and cute!" "Did you see her eyes? So unique!" "Peanut is so nice and friendly, the kids love her!" "What a wonderful hero!" Katsuki snorted, his scowl deepening. "Beautiful and cute? Nice and friendly? That's not what being a hero is about," he growled, tossing his phone back on the log.

The next video showed Peanut helping a boy retrieve his cat from a tree. She floated gracefully up to the branch, cradling the scared feline in her arms before descending and handing it to the relieved boy. "Thank you, Peanut!" the boy exclaimed, his face lit up with gratitude.

"Stupid," Katsuki muttered, rolling his eyes. "A true hero doesn't waste their time on stuff like that." He continued watching, unable to look away despite himself. Peanut was helping an old woman cross the road, her gentle demeanor winning the woman's trust. She was cleaning a clogged drain, her dress somehow staying pristine despite the muck. She even stopped to give directions to a lost tourist, her smile never faltering.

Katsuki clenched his fists, feeling a mix of frustration and something he couldn't quite name. "Hah, what a chick. Real heroes don't waste their time on petty tasks. They tackle the big challenges, the ones that require strength and power," he muttered, his voice growing louder. "Helping with directions? Cleaning drains? That's not hero work." He sneered. "Why is so obsessed with her? She's just a stupid chick who wants attention. The reason why she doesn't do anything dangerous like handling real criminals is because she's a fraud. A fake."

But despite his harsh words, he couldn't shake the feeling of inadequacy that gnawed at him. He couldn't deny that Peanut was strong and fast—stronger and faster than he had anticipated. Her abilities were impressive, even if her approach to heroism wasn't. A pang of jealousy stabbed through him, making his stomach churn. He needed to be stronger than her, to prove that real heroes were the ones who faced the toughest challenges head-on.

He watched another video, this time Peanut was lifting a fallen tree off a car, her strength evident as she hoisted the massive trunk with ease. The onlookers cheered, their admiration palpable. Katsuki's eyes narrowed, his determination rekindled. "I've got to train," he vowed, his voice low but resolute.

With renewed vigor, Katsuki returned to his training. He needed to push harder, to refine his control even more. The forest around him became a blur as he focused on his explosions, each blast more controlled than the last. He could feel his strength growing, his control improving. But it wasn't enough. It would never be enough until he could stand above all others, until he could prove that he was the best.

The hours passed, the sun dipping lower in the sky, casting long shadows across the forest floor. Katsuki's body ached, his muscles screaming for rest. But he ignored the pain, pushing through with sheer willpower. He had a goal, and nothing would deter him from reaching it.

Finally, as the light began to fade, he collapsed against a tree, his breath coming in ragged gasps. His phone beeped again, another notification about Peanut. Katsuki glared at the device, his resolve hardening. He would train harder, push further, and become the hero that everyone respected and feared.

"That Purple Abomination might be getting all the attention now, but just wait," he muttered, a fierce glint in his eyes. "I'll show them what a real hero is." The forest around him was silent, the only sound his labored breathing. He could feel the weight of his ambition pressing down on him, but he welcomed it. It was a burden he was willing to bear, for the sake of becoming the best.

As he stood, ready to continue his grueling training, the determination in his heart burned brighter than ever. Katsuki Bakugou would not be outshone. He would rise above, and nothing—not even a Magical Girl—would stand in his way.

o—O—o

Izuku Midoriya and his mother, Inko, made their way to the doctor's chamber, the anticipation palpable in the air. The clinic was located in a bustling part of the city, its exterior a blend of modern architecture with large glass windows that reflected the sky. Inside, the waiting area was a serene space with soft lighting, comfortable chairs, and walls adorned with calming art. A soft hum of conversation filled the room as patients and their families waited for their turn.

Izuku could hardly contain his excitement. Today was the day they would officially register his quirk in the government database. As they sat in the waiting area, Izuku bounced slightly in his seat, his eyes glued to a book about transformation powers. He had always been fascinated by quirks, especially those related to transformation, and now, with his own quirk to understand, his curiosity had reached new heights.

"Izuku, dear, you need to make sure to tell the doctor everything about how your body feels when you use your powers," Inko said, her voice filled with concern. She adjusted her glasses nervously, her eyes flickering to her son's animated face.

"Mm-hmm," Izuku responded absentmindedly, flipping another page in his book. His mind was absorbed in theories and comparisons, particularly how his quirk might share similarities with All Might's. Despite his extensive research, he had found very little concrete information about All Might's quirk beyond his super strength.

Inko sighed, knowing her son was only half-listening. "Izuku, this is important. I know you're excited, but the doctor needs to understand everything to help you properly."

Izuku nodded, but his thoughts were elsewhere. "Mom, did you know All Might's quirk is so mysterious? I've been thinking that maybe his power has more to do with his body's transformation than just strength. What if there's a deeper mechanism at play?" His eyes sparkled with excitement as he shared his theories.

Inko smiled fondly at her son. "That's fascinating, Izuku. But promise me you'll focus on explaining your own experiences to the doctor. Your health and understanding your quirk are the priorities right now."

Izuku looked up, finally giving his mother his full attention. "I promise, Mom. I'll tell the doctor everything."

Just then, the door to the doctor's chamber opened, and a patient stepped out, looking relieved after their consultation. The doctor's assistant, a kind-looking woman with a clipboard, called out, "Midoriya family, you can go in now."

Izuku and Inko stood up, gathering their things. As they approached the door, the assistant smiled at them, holding the door open. "The doctor is ready for you."

But before they could step inside, a sudden, deafening explosion rocked the building. The ground shook violently, and a shockwave sent everyone sprawling to the floor. Furniture toppled over, chairs skidded across the floor, and the soft lighting flickered ominously. The serene waiting room was transformed into a scene of chaos.

Izuku's heart raced as he scrambled to his feet, his mind quickly shifting from excitement to concern. He looked at his mother, who was trying to stand up, her face pale with shock. "Mom, are you okay?" he asked, helping her up.

"I'm fine, Izuku," she replied, her voice trembling slightly. "What was that?"

Before they could speculate further, the building continued to shake, and debris began to fall from the ceiling. The assistant, now wide-eyed with fear, tried to usher people towards the exits. "Everyone, please stay calm and make your way to the emergency exits!"

Izuku's mind raced. His instincts screamed at him to transform and use his powers to help, but he was also aware that revealing his quirk in such a public place might draw unwanted attention. Yet, the safety of everyone around him was paramount.

"Mom, we need to get out of here!" Izuku shouted, taking her hand. As they moved towards the exit, he couldn't help but glance around, assessing the damage and looking for anyone who might need help.

The scene outside was chaotic. Smoke billowed from a nearby building, and the air was filled with the sound of sirens and panicked voices. Heroes were already on the scene, working to control the situation and rescue those in danger. Izuku watched in awe as a hero with water-based powers doused the flames while another with super strength cleared debris.

Amidst the chaos, Izuku's mind raced with thoughts of how he could help. He glanced at his mother, who was clutching his arm tightly. "Mom, stay here. I need to see if I can help."

Inko looked at him, her eyes filled with worry. She knew that look so she did not argue. "Izuku, please be careful."

With a determined nod, Izuku found a secluded spot behind a fallen piece of debris. "Peach!" he whispered, and in an instant, he transformed into his Magical Girl form. His purple hair shimmered in the sunlight, and his frilly dress stood out starkly against the smoky backdrop.

Leaping into action, Izuku quickly assessed the chaotic scene before her. Smoke billowed from the wreckage of buildings, and the air was filled with the cries of the injured and the panicked shouts of onlookers. Her heart pounded as she scanned the area, her sharp eyes catching sight of a young child trapped under a fallen beam. Without a moment's hesitation, she sprinted over, her purple dress fluttering in the breeze.

"Hang on!" she called out, her voice gentle yet firm. The child, a small boy no older than five, looked up at her with wide, tear-filled eyes. His tiny body was pinned beneath the heavy beam, and he whimpered in fear and pain.

Izuku knelt down beside him, her hands glowing with a soft, purple light as she summoned her strength. "It's going to be okay," she assured him, her tone soothing. With a burst of power, she lifted the beam effortlessly, the weight feeling like nothing in her hands. The boy scrambled out from underneath, clutching his scraped knee.

"Are you okay?" Izuku asked, her eyes full of concern.

The child nodded, tears still streaming down his face. "Thank you, Magical Girl!"

Izuku smiled warmly, patting the boy's head. "Stay safe," she said, guiding him to a nearby paramedic. She then turned her attention to the next crisis, her senses on high alert.

She spotted an elderly woman struggling to walk, leaning heavily on a broken cane. "Let me help you," Izuku said, rushing over and gently taking the woman's arm. "We need to get you to safety."

The woman looked up, her eyes filled with gratitude. "Thank you, dear. My house... it's just down the street."

"I'll get you there," Izuku promised, supporting the woman as they moved through the chaos. They passed a toppled cart of fruits, its contents scattered across the street. Izuku quickly picked up an apple and handed it to the woman. "Here, take this for strength."

They reached the woman's house, and Izuku helped her inside, ensuring she was settled before dashing back into the fray. She saw a man frantically trying to lift heavy crates into a truck. "Do you need help?" she called out.

The man, sweat dripping down his face, nodded. "Yes, please. These crates are too heavy for me alone."

Izuku's eyes glowed with determination as she approached. "I've got this," she said, her hands glowing once more. With a swift motion, she lifted the crates and placed them neatly into the truck. The man's eyes widened in amazement.

"Thank you so much," he said, his voice filled with relief. "You saved me a lot of trouble."

Izuku nodded, her heart swelling with pride. "Just doing my part," she replied before darting off to help the next person in need.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a force grabbed her by the neck and threw her flying into a nearby building. Izuku gasped as she crashed through a window, landing in a room where a baby was watching a cartoon show on TV. The baby, unfazed by the chaos, wiggled its toy and giggled.

Izuku, dusting herself off, gave the mother a sheepish look. "Sorry about that," she said, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment. She hurried to the balcony, scanning the sky for her attacker.

At first, she saw nothing but smoke and chaos. Then, her sharp eyes caught sight of two small dots flying high above. As her vision cleared, she realized it was Endeavour, the number one hero, engaged in a fierce battle with a creature that looked like something out of a nightmare.

The creature was a horrifying fusion of Predator from the movies and the Alien from Alien: Covenant. Its skin was a mottled, dark gray, covered in scales and ridges. Long, muscular limbs ended in razor-sharp claws, and its elongated head was crowned with a crest of spines. Its mouth was filled with rows of jagged teeth, and a pair of glowing, yellow eyes stared down at Endeavour with malevolent intelligence.

Endeavour, flames roaring around him, launched a series of fiery blasts at the creature. "Hellfire Burst!" he shouted, sending a torrent of flames towards the monster. The creature dodged with surprising agility, its movements fluid and almost graceful.

The air crackled with heat as Endeavour pressed the attack, his body a blazing inferno. "You're going down!" he bellowed, his voice filled with determination. He lunged at the creature, his fists wreathed in fire.

The creature retaliated, swiping at Endeavour with its claws. Each strike was fast and powerful, but Endeavour managed to block and dodge most of the attacks. "Is that all you've got?" he taunted, his eyes blazing with fury.

The creature roared, a sound that sent shivers down Izuku's spine. It countered with a blast of its own, a stream of acidic liquid that sizzled as it hit the ground. Endeavour barely avoided the attack, rolling to the side and coming up with a fiery punch that connected with the creature's torso.

The impact sent the creature staggering back, but it quickly regained its balance. It launched itself at Endeavour, its claws outstretched. Endeavour met it head-on, their blows exchanging with bone-crushing force. The air was filled with the sounds of their battle—clashing, roaring, and the crackling of flames.

Izuku watched, her heart pounding. Despite Endeavour's efforts, the creature seemed almost impervious to his attacks. It was clear that it was only defending itself, its eyes scanning the chaos below as if searching for something.

The battle raged on, each exchange of blows causing more destruction. Endeavour's flames lit up the sky, creating a dazzling yet terrifying display of power. The creature's acid attacks left smoking craters wherever they landed, adding to the devastation.

Despite the overwhelming odds, Endeavour didn't back down. His resolve was unshakeable, his every move calculated to bring down the monstrous foe. "I will not let you win!" he shouted, his voice echoing across the city.

Izuku could see the strain in Endeavour's eyes, the sweat glistening on his brow despite the heat of his flames. He was giving it everything he had, pushing his quirk to its limits. But the creature was relentless, its eyes fixed on its goal, whatever that might be.

The fight reached a fever pitch as Endeavour unleashed his ultimate move. "Prominence Burn!" he roared, his entire body becoming a blazing inferno. He charged at the creature, a living comet of fire and fury.

The creature responded with a deafening roar, its acid blasting towards Endeavour. The two forces collided in mid-air, creating an explosion of light and sound that rocked the entire area. The shockwave sent debris flying, and Izuku had to shield her eyes from the blinding light.

As the smoke cleared, the outcome of the battle became apparent. Endeavour, breathing heavily but still standing, faced the creature. It was injured, but still defiant, its eyes burning with a fierce determination.

Izuku knew that this creature was unlike anything they had faced before, and its intentions were still a mystery. But one thing was clear: they would need all their strength and wits to overcome this new threat.

Endeavour's flames roared with renewed intensity, the heat radiating from his body causing the air to shimmer. He launched another fiery barrage at the creature, his voice a mix of anger and determination. "Burn in hell!" he bellowed, sending a concentrated stream of fire straight at the monster.

The creature, with its monstrous agility, twisted and dodged the attack with ease, its movements fluid and almost mocking. It let out a guttural hiss, its eyes gleaming with a malevolent intelligence. The creature's acid dripped onto the ground, hissing as it ate through the concrete.

Endeavour cursed under his breath, his frustration growing. "Damn you! Hold still!" He propelled himself forward, flames erupting from his feet as he closed the distance, swinging a blazing fist at the creature's head. The creature ducked, its claws slashing at Endeavour's midsection. Endeavour blocked with a fiery shield, the force of the blow sending sparks flying.

"Pathetic human," the creature hissed, its voice a harsh, grating sound. "You think your fire can harm me?"

Endeavour gritted his teeth, his eyes blazing with fury. "I'll make you eat those words!" He unleashed a series of rapid-fire punches, each one a burst of searing heat. The creature evaded most of the blows, but a few landed, scorching its tough hide. It roared in pain, its eyes narrowing with rage.

Meanwhile, the battle was taking its toll on the surroundings. Civilians were caught in the crossfire, debris and concrete falling from the damaged buildings. Kamui Woods used his tree limbs to shield a group of people from a falling beam. "Stay close to me!" he shouted, guiding them to safety.

Mt. Lady, in her gigantic form, carefully picked up a group of children and moved them out of harm's way. "Everyone, get to the evacuation points!" she called out, her voice booming.

The Pussycats worked tirelessly, their quirks helping to rescue trapped civilians. Ragdoll used her Search quirk to locate those in need, while Pixie-Bob created earth shelters for protection. Present Mic used his Voice quirk to amplify his instructions, ensuring everyone heard the evacuation orders. "Move, move, move! Get to the safe zones!" he commanded, his voice echoing through the chaos.

Backdraft, with his water hoses, extinguished fires and created safe pathways for people to escape. "This way, hurry!" he urged, directing the flow of civilians.

Izuku, in her Magical Girl form, darted through the pandemonium, helping wherever she could. Her sensitive hearing picked up a faint cry for help from inside a burning building. "Someone's trapped!" she muttered, her eyes narrowing in determination.

With a few powerful leaps, she reached the building, her keen eyes scanning the interior. Flames licked at the walls, the heat intense, but her clothes and skin remained unscathed. "Is anyone here?" she called out, her voice cutting through the crackling of the fire.

"In here!" came a frantic reply. Izuku followed the sound, bursting into a bathroom where a man and two children were huddled in a bathtub, fully clothed and terrified.

"Don't worry, I'm here to help," she reassured them, her presence a beacon of hope. The man's eyes widened in surprise and relief. "Thank you! Please, get us out of here!"

Izuku assessed the situation quickly. She was too small to carry all three at once. "Grab onto my neck," she instructed the man. "I'll take the children."

The man nodded, his grip tight but not painful. Izuku scooped up the children, one in each arm. "Hold on tight," she told them, her voice calm and confident. With a powerful jump, she propelled them out of the building, the children screaming in fear as they soared through the air. They landed gracefully, Izuku's cat-like agility ensuring a soft landing.

"Thank you!" the man gasped, tears of relief streaming down his face. "You saved us!"

Izuku nodded, her heart pounding with adrenaline. "Stay safe," she urged, guiding them to a paramedic before leaping back into the fray.

As she landed on top of a building, she looked down at the ongoing battle. Endeavour and the creature were still locked in combat, both showing signs of wear. Endeavour's flames flickered, his energy waning, while the creature's movements were slower, its hide scarred and burned.

Suddenly, a new figure entered the scene. With a dramatic entrance, a second creature descended from the sky, this one more humanoid and terrifyingly powerful. It had the same monstrous features, but its body was sleeker, more muscular, and its eyes glowed with an eerie intelligence.

The new creature landed with a thunderous crash, sending shockwaves through the area. It moved with lightning speed, closing the distance between itself and Endeavour in an instant. Before Endeavour could react, the creature delivered a devastating punch, sending him flying into a nearby building. The impact shook the ground, and debris rained down.

"Endeavour!" Izuku gasped, her eyes widening in horror. The new creature turned its attention to the injured one, its eyes scanning the battlefield with cold calculation.

"Retreat," it commanded in a deep, resonant voice. The first creature, battered but still alive, limped over to the newcomer.

Before Endeavour could recover and launch another attack, the second creature grabbed the first and, with a burst of speed, disappeared from sight. The air crackled with the aftershock of their departure, leaving a stunned silence in their wake.

Endeavour cursed, struggling to his feet. "Damn it!" he spat, his voice filled with frustration. His body was battered, his flames flickering weakly.

The medics and media swarmed the area, the aftermath of the battle drawing intense attention. Reporters clamored for interviews, their cameras flashing. "Endeavour, can you tell us what happened?" one shouted.

"We saw two creatures. Can you confirm their origin?" another asked.

Endeavour waved them off, his face set in a grim expression. "No comment," he growled, turning to the medics who rushed to his side.

Izuku watched from a distance, her heart heavy with concern. The battlefield was a mess of debris, scorch marks, and fallen buildings. The heroes continued to help the injured, their efforts tireless and unwavering.

Kamui Woods approached Endeavour, his face etched with worry. "Are you alright?"

Endeavour nodded, though his eyes betrayed his exhaustion. "I'll live," he muttered. "But those creatures… we need to find out where they came from. I have a score to settle."

The media continued to press for answers, their questions blending into a cacophony of voices.

Izuku surveyed the chaotic scene one last time, ensuring no one else needed assistance. The sounds of sirens and the murmurs of the gathered crowd filled the air. Satisfied that the immediate crisis was under control, she took a deep breath and leaped away, heading towards a quieter part of the city.

As she approached an old, dilapidated bookshop, she paused. The once vibrant sign now hung crookedly, its paint chipped and faded. She slipped inside through the shattered door, the bell above it giving a weak jingle. The shop was a mess, with books strewn about and shelves toppled over. Dust motes danced in the air, illuminated by the rays of the setting sun filtering through the broken windows.

Izuku ducked behind a fallen bookshelf, her heart still racing from the adrenaline of the fight. She whispered, "Peach," and in an instant, the transformation reversed. Her body shimmered, the frilly purple dress morphing back into his regular t-shirt and jeans. He took a moment to steady his breath, the silence of the shop contrasting sharply with the chaos outside.

Emerging from the shop, Izuku began the walk home, his mind racing. Something about the creatures didn't sit right with him. Their appearance was monstrous, but their actions and language suggested intelligence. The way they communicated, speaking fluent Japanese, was unnerving. They weren't mindless beasts; they had a purpose, a mission.

As he turned the corner to his street, he saw his house. The familiar sight brought a slight sense of comfort. He knocked on the door, and before he could even lower his hand, it flew open. His mother, Inko, stood there, her face a mixture of relief and fury. She pulled him into a tight embrace, her tears soaking his shoulder.

"Oh, Izuku!" she cried, her voice breaking. "I was so worried! I thought—" She couldn't finish her sentence, sobs shaking her small frame.

Izuku patted her back gently, his own eyes stinging with unshed tears. "I'm fine, Mom. Really. I just helped people get to safety. I didn't engage in the fight."

Inko pulled back, her eyes red and puffy. "You should have been more careful! What if something happened to you? You could have been hurt, or worse!" Her voice was rising, a mixture of fear and anger.

Izuku tried to calm her. "I know, I know. But I couldn't just stand by and do nothing. People needed help, and I was there. The heroes will handle the rest, I promise."

Inko shook her head, her expression worried. "Something is very wrong, Izuku. Those creatures… they're not like anything we've seen before. They're intelligent, and they were strong enough to fight Endeavour to a standstill. What if more of them come?"

He nodded, his face serious. "I know, Mom. But the heroes will figure it out. They always do. We just have to trust them."

She sighed deeply, still not convinced but knowing she couldn't shelter him forever. "Alright, but please, be careful. Now go to the bathroom and clean up. You're filthy."

Izuku smiled weakly. "Okay, Mom." He headed towards the bathroom, his legs feeling heavier with each step. Once inside, he shut the door and began stripping off his clothes. He caught a glimpse of himself in the mirror and noticed something odd. His reflection was blurry. He rubbed his eyes, but the blurriness persisted.

"Must be the fatigue," he muttered to himself, dismissing the thought. He turned on the shower, the warm water cascading over his tired body. As he lathered up, he felt a strange sensation on his face. He glanced down and noticed a drop of blood slowly ascending from his nose, mixing with the water at his feet.

Izuku frowned, wiping it away. "Weird," he said softly, his voice echoing slightly in the tiled bathroom. He decided not to worry his mother with it, chalking it up to exhaustion. He finished his shower, the water soothing his aching muscles.

After drying off, he dressed in comfortable clothes and headed back to the living room. Inko was there, her eyes still red but her face calmer. She looked up as he entered and managed a small smile. "Feeling better?"

Izuku nodded, returning the smile. "Yeah, much better."

Inko sighed, her shoulders relaxing a bit. "Good. Just promise me you'll be careful, okay?"

"I promise, Mom." He sat down beside her, the weight of the day settling heavily on his shoulders. They sat in silence for a while, the television playing softly in the background, both lost in their thoughts.

The television buzzed with static for a moment before the image of a composed news anchor appeared on the screen. The background showed chaotic scenes from Mustafu city, with smoke rising and people running in panic.

"Good evening," the anchor began, her voice steady despite the troubling news. "We bring you a live report from Mustafu city, where a mysterious creature has caused unprecedented chaos."

The screen shifted to a video clip. The creature was horrifying to look at—a grotesque fusion of Predator from the movies and the xenomorph from Alien: Covenant. It had a sleek, elongated head with a terrifyingly intricate face of mandibles and sharp teeth. Its body was a blend of sinewy muscle and biomechanical armor, with long, clawed limbs and a segmented tail that whipped around menacingly.

The anchor continued as the footage played, "This creature appeared out of nowhere, targeting a busy shopping mall. Witnesses report that the creature seemed particularly interested in children."

The video showed the creature grabbing children with its clawed hands, lifting them effortlessly. Its eyes, glowing a sinister red, seemed to bore into the children as it began to siphon something from their bodies. The children writhed and screamed, their energy visibly draining as a luminescent substance was drawn from them into the creature.

"Experts suggest," the anchor's voice-over resumed, "that the creature was extracting not just energy, but possibly the very quirks of these children. This unprecedented and horrifying ability has left the authorities baffled and alarmed."

The screen then cut to Endeavour, the Pro Hero, blazing with fire as he confronted the monster. His flames roared around him, creating a stark contrast against the dark, monstrous figure. "Endeavour engaged the creature in a fierce battle," the anchor narrated. "His flames seemed to scorch the air itself as he launched a barrage of fiery attacks."

Endeavour shouted, "You won't harm anyone else!" as he hurled a massive fireball. The creature dodged with uncanny agility, its movements fluid and eerily graceful. Endeavour followed up with a series of rapid strikes, his fists enveloped in fire. Each blow landed with a resounding impact, but the creature shrugged off the attacks, its tough exterior barely singed.

"Burn, you monstrosity!" Endeavour roared, releasing a concentrated blast of flames. The creature countered with a powerful swipe of its tail, knocking Endeavour off balance. The fight raged on, with Endeavour cursing under his breath as the creature continued to evade his most powerful attacks.

Despite the intensity of the fight, the creature seemed more focused on defense, as if it had a greater objective. The creature's movements were calculated, its glowing eyes scanning the surroundings even as it parried Endeavour's blows.

The anchor continued, "As the battle escalated, it became evident that the creature was not alone. A second, even more formidable creature appeared. This new adversary was more humanoid in appearance but no less terrifying."

The second creature descended with a deafening roar, its body shimmering with an eerie bioluminescence. It was sleek, muscular, and moved with terrifying speed. It intercepted Endeavour's next attack, absorbing the flames with its armored hide.

Endeavour gritted his teeth. "Another one?!" He launched himself at the newcomer, but it sidestepped effortlessly, delivering a bone-crushing punch to his midsection. Endeavour was sent flying, crashing through a building with a tremendous impact.

Kamui Woods, Backdraft, Mt. Lady, and the Pussycats were on the scene, helping to evacuate civilians and manage the chaos. Kamui Woods extended his limbs, creating barriers to shield people from falling debris. "Everyone, this way!" he shouted, guiding panicked civilians to safety.

Backdraft, using his water-based quirk, extinguished fires and created safe passages through the rubble. "Stay low and follow the water paths!" he instructed, his voice calm amidst the chaos.

Mt. Lady, in her gigantic form, lifted large chunks of debris, allowing trapped individuals to escape. "Hang on, I've got you!" she reassured, her booming voice echoing through the streets.

The Pussycats, using their various quirks, coordinated the rescue efforts. "Ragdoll, can you pinpoint any more survivors?" Mandalay asked, her telepathic abilities linking the team's efforts.

"On it!" Ragdoll replied, her quirk scanning the area for life signs. "There are still people trapped in the east wing!"

Present Mic's voice boomed through the commotion, directing people to safety. "Move, move, move! Head to the safe zones!"

Back with Endeavour, Just as he was about to deliver a final blow to the first creature, the new, more humanoid one intervened with a dramatic entrance.

This new creature landed with a thunderous crash, the ground shaking beneath it. It was larger and more imposing, with an almost regal demeanor. Its eyes glowed with intelligence and malice. With a swift motion, it punched Endeavour with such force that the hero was sent flying across the battlefield.

"Damn it!" Endeavour cursed, struggling to his feet. Before he could launch another attack, the second creature grabbed the first and, with a burst of incredible speed, vanished from the scene.

"Where did they go?!" Endeavour shouted, his flames reigniting with rage.

The medics and media arrived on the scene, the chaos of the battle giving way to a flurry of activity. Reporters swarmed, their cameras capturing the destruction and the efforts of the heroes. "Endeavour, can you comment on what happened here?" one reporter asked, shoving a microphone towards him.

Endeavour, panting heavily, wiped the sweat and soot from his brow. "We don't know what these creatures are or where they came from, but we will find out. And we will stop them."

As the media frenzy continued, the TV in Izuku's living room displayed the image of a girl in a purple dress, caught mid-action as she saved a man from falling. Inko and Izuku watched in stunned silence.

The news anchor's voice cut through the tension. "Who is this mysterious girl with super strength and telekinetic abilities? She appeared out of nowhere and assisted in the rescue efforts. Who is this vigilante?"

The word "vigilante" hung heavily in the air. Inko turned to her son, her face a mix of fear and confusion.

Izuku gulped, trying to find the right words. "Uh... mom, a vigilante is also a hero, right?"

Inko's expression hardened. "Izuku, we need to talk about this. Now."
