Kaya, Honey, Vivi, Zala, Conis, and Ashivra all looked at Wanze.
"Honey, I will help you," Conis remarked.
"We should use our numbers against them," Vivi agreed as she looked at the dozens of Marines.
"He uses noodles, right?" Zala questioned.
"Yes," Honey confirmed as her eyes narrowed. "Some of them could be poisonous," she added.
"Noodles?" Ashivra asked. "Like the ones we ate?" she questioned.
"Yes," Zala said. "It is an interesting fight style," she said.
"Capture them," Wanze shouted. He looked around and saw a dark-skinned woman with black wings. It can't be, he thought. He thought he would figure it out later. "Ramen Kenpo Ultimate Technique: Japanese Noodle Formal Battle-Suit," Wanze said as he swallowed an entire sack of flour. At that moment, he started to produce a massive quantity of noodles from his nose. He wove the strands into a bulky suit of armor and wrapped the noodles around his hands and feet until he resembled a Noodle Mech. Wanze's head remained visible and it poked out.
Conis started to transform into her hybrid form. Golden feathers erupted from her arms and shoulders. Her hair flared into fiery strands. Her mouth hardened into a large yellow beak, her ears flattened, and her eyes shifted into orbs of molten gold. The small wings on her back unfurled, expanded outward. Her legs grew muscular.
"Sunfire Breath," Conis murmured as she unleashed a streak of concentrated flames toward Wanze.
Wanze leaped aside just in time. "Too slow," he taunted.
"Liquid Air Blast," Honey said as she raised her hand and launched a violent torrent of purple liquid. The blast caught Wanze square in the chest and sent him skidding backward across the floor.
Wanze gritted his teeth. He looked at the golden-feathered Conis and Honey. He thought of Honey, the woman who defeated him before and made the Marines look like a joke. "You will not get away," Wanze remarked. "You will not make the Marines look like fools," he added.
"Marines?" Honey questioned. "I thought you said you were Ciphor Pol," she added.
"I was transferred here because of you," Wanze responded in anger.
"Knife Throw," Wanze shrieked as he flung a barrage of sharpened kitchen knives from his sleeves.
"Solar Flare Wing Shield," Conis said as she spread her massive wings. The solar energy shimmered off her feathers and vaporized the steel blades before they could even touch her.
"Liquid Net," Honey said as she raised her hand. Her fingertips glowed a deep purple. She pulled her hands apart and stretched the purple liquid in a net shape pattern. She hurled it forward.
"Thousand-Noodle Whip," Wanze roared as he forced the suit's arms to lengthen into long, whipping strings of ramen. He lashed out at the net and destroyed it. The noodle arms went towards Honey.
"Moonwalk," Honey said as she kicked the air to hover high above the reach of the noodles.
"How can you use that?" Wanze looked in shock. He thought it had been only a number of weeks since they last saw each other. They could not learn something like this so quickly.
Conis eyes glowed like molten gold. "Sunfire Talon Strike," she said as her claws ignited with intense solar flames. She swung her fist at full force and punched Wanze. Wanze got hit in the Noodle Mech's chest. Flames erupted from her hand upon impact and charred the dough. He was propelled backwards.
Wanze scrambled up. He spat blood. "Why do you want this gem?" he asked.
"For the treasure money," Honey responded. "We are still pirates at the end of the day," she added with a smile.
Conis thought that was true. However she would not do all the pirate things.
"You are all evil," Wanze shouted. "Pork Bone Spank," he yelled as he lunged forward to punch Honey.
"Liquid Bullet Barrage," Honey said as she shaped her hand like a gun. She then fired a rapid stream of purple liquid bullets from her fingertips. Each shot punched into the noodle armor and slowed Wanze's momentum until he was pinned in place.
"Sunfire Feathers," Conis said as she fired feathers from her wings at Wanze.. The feathers travelled through the air and hit the armoured suit. They exploded on impact and created a black smoke cloud. It sent Wanze flying back. He crashed into the ground.
Wanze quickly ate more noodles and repaired his armour. He coughed and got up. Wanze clapped the heavy dough arms of his suit together. "Japanese Noodle Potsticker Set, Clapping," he said. He lunged forward.
"Moonwalk," Honey said once again as she kicked the air and pushed backwards. She put more distance between her and Wanze.
"Get back," Wanze shouted. "Ramen Kenpo: Starch-String Snare," Wanze shouted. He fired a barrage of sticky thin noodle threads from his fingertips towards Honey. The string went towards Honey.
"Sunfire Breath," Conis said as she opened her mouth and released a streak of flames towards the noodles. She intercepted the noodles and vaporised the sticky threads before they could touch her.
"This is new," Honey said as she landed on the sandy desert.
Wanze gritted her teeth. "Ramen Kenpo: Doughy Gatling," Wanze roared as he began rapid-firing hardened, ball-shaped noodle projectiles from the shoulders of his suit like a heavy cannon.
Honey raised both hands. "Double Air Blast," Honey said as she launched two torrents of purple liquid. They met the noodle balls mid-air and dissolved them into mush.
"Shave," Conis said as she vanished in a blur of motion. In the blink of an eye, she reappeared in front of Wanze.
Wanze thought she could use this. He looked at her molten eyes. The fire bird in front of him.
"Finger Pistol," Conis added as she thrusted her index finger and middle finger and penetrated his armour.
Wanze got hit and spat blood as he was sent flying back. He crashed into the ground. There was a large sand cloud. Wanze thought she knew two moves. He could feel his shoulder in pain. "I am not going to lose," Wanze said as he got up.
"Liquid Serpent," Honey said as she created a mass of red liquid that coiled and twisted into the shape of a massive snake. Its scales glistened like molten metal. With a flick of her wrist, the serpent hurtled toward Wanze. It zig-zagged through the air with incredible speed.
"No! Stay back," Wanze cried as he tried to block with his noodle arms.
The serpent struck the Noodle Mech and exploded in a violent burst of red liquid and fire.
Wanze was blown out of his armor and his clothes were scorched. He crashed into the ground. He spat blood. Wanze thought he had to escape. He could not win. He tried to crawl away, Honey pointed her finger at him one last time.
"Liquid Snake," Honey said, a small, green serpent-head formed around her hand. She shot it forward. The green liquid raced towards Wanze and hit him. He felt his veins burn as the toxin took hold. He spat blood. Wanze collapsed onto the scorched ground. He was defeated.
Conis walked over. "Was he stronger than last time?" she asked.
"No, he did not seem like it," Honey responded.
Kaya flew into the sky. "Angel Barrage," Kaya said as she formed small energy projectiles resembling angelic feathers, around her wings. She then fired a volley at the dozens of Marines. They got hit in the face, body and legs. Each feather mark left a mark on their body and cut their skin. There was blood coming out. They staggered on the ground and collapsed.
"That is a dozen down," Zala remarked. "Long Storm Leg," Zala said as she kicked at high speed and strength which launched a long sharp compressed blade of wind at a dozen marines and got hit.
The wind blade lifted off their feet and launched them into the air. The Marines behind the front line were swept up in a violent vacuum and tossed around. The Marines lay scattered in a tangled heap of limbs.
"Another dozen down," Ashivra said as she looked around.
Vivi went forward. She swung her sword and swiped a Marine across the chest. The force of the blow sent him spinning into his comrades.
"Take her down," a Marine shouted as he swung his spear.
Vivi spun on her heel. She ducked under a spear thrust. She held her blade and slashed the Marine. He spat blood and crumpled to the ground without a sound.
Vivi looked up. "Neo Beam,"Vivi said as the sword glowed dark purple. A dark purple projection was fired. It travelled through the air and hit the group of Marines. There was a large explosion and the Marines went flying everywhere.
"That is all of them down," Kaya said.
"Vivi can be scary," Ashivra said.
Zala smiled. "The princess can be," Zala remarked.
"Hey," Vivi pouted.
They all giggled. Conis and Honey approached the group. "Wanze is down," Conis reported.
"Are you both okay?" Vivi asked.
"We are," Honey responded.
"Let's keep going," Zala said. They all nodded and entered the cave.
