Chapter 147 - 8-

Chapter 8 Start

Rias and Sona were in the Council president's office as Sona informed Rias about what they had witnessed when they were watching Danny fight against the Fallen Angel.

Sona was leaning against her desk while Rias was a few feet from her.

Rias had her arms crossed under her bust as she thought about the information. "And there was nothing that could inform you about who he works for or what he even is?"

Sona shook her head. "Nothing. He came off as someone who does not see Fallen Angels as much of an issue. He took a Light spear to the chest, but he returned, changed, and uninjured. Throughout the fight, he joked around, not taking any of it seriously."

"Perhaps that is why he let her live. He didn't see her as any sort of threat and decided to just leave her." It was pure speculation as she would have finished the fallen angel off completely, but he let her live, even though he had the clear advantage.

Sona pondered it as well. "We don't know. We might have gotten a glimpse of him, but that does not mean we know anything. Especially with the timing of his arrival."

Rias nodded. "The fallen Angels have infiltrated our town, and now we have this unknown. He might be a spy sent to handle them, and trying to stay out of the spotlight.

Sona pushed off the desk and moved closer to Rias. "If he is a spy or someone who was sent to deal with the Fallen Angels, perhaps it would be best if we do not instigate a confrontation with him." She wasn't sure about how accurate that statement is, since his wording made her believe that he might not know about the Fallen angels.

Rias nodded. "I'll inform my occult members about this. And I will inform Issei when we tell him about the world he has become a part of." He was thoughtful about what Danny was here for. He was powerful, and she thought that she could use that power for the issue she had, but the risk might be too high, especially since she didn't know if he was a member of some other faction.

Danny stared at the three stooges of the school as they were playing rock, paper, scissors in the middle of the lobby. "Yeah, something is going on here." As he stared at the three, he could feel that Issei was now giving off the same kind of feeling that he felt in the entire campus and specific individuals. Before, he just ignored the feeling, thinking that it might be because the environment is different, or maybe because there is no excess ectoplasm in the air, but after what he dealt with the lewd monster woman and the crow girl Milt, it's clear that something was going on, and it turns out that Issei has become part of it.

"What did they do now?"

Danny jumped at the sudden question and spun around to see Murayama and Katase, both of which wer angrily looking at the three perverted trio.

Katase was the one who asked, and she stepped up to stand at Danny's left, put her hands on her hips, and watched the three. "Ugh, I don't know why those three are even allowed to go to this school.

Murayama stood at Danny's right as she crossed her arms. "They should just get rid of them, and the school can finally have decent people in it."

Danny eyed the two of them, and he couldn't feel anything coming from them, informing him that they were just normal students. He felt some relief from that since every time someone hid from him, it usually meant that they were planning something. These two were just members of the kendo club that had a mean streak against the three perverts. "When you say 'them', do you mean boys in general? Cause if that's true, I won't be able to come to school anymore, and you will forever know that I was the best of the Kendo club and you only beat me on a technicality." Was he letting his phantom banter out? Yeah. But he felt a little relieved that these two were normal.

What he wasn't expecting was that the two girls grabbed his arms as if he were about to disappear.

Murayama held onto his arm and shook her head. "No, if you go, I'll never have a challenge anymore! You're not allowed to leave." She was being slightly truthful since she really would not want to lose someone as cool as Danny. He may not be as handsome as Kiba, but Danny was really cool to be around. And she won't deny that even if she pines for Kiba, Danny is a really close second choice.

Katase was very much the same. She didn't want Danny to leave, as she also thought that he would be a good second choice if she couldn't get Kiba. "Don't worry, we won't get rid of you. We like having you around."

Danny was blushing as he was being held by two girls, but he didn't say or do anything to get them off him.

This didn't go unnoticed by the perverted trio as they stopped their little game.

Motohama clenched his fist as he watched one of the two princes of the school being hugged by two girls. "I hope he dies from a stomach bug that burns his innards!"

Matsuda had tears streaming down his face. "That's not enough! He should have his elephant cut off and thrown into a pit of goblins!

The two were still wishing many forms of punishment for Danny as he was enjoying his youth. But after mentioning another fifteen different punishments that Danny should go through, they noticed that Issei wasn't joining them. They both turned around to see Issei trying to act cool, flipping his hair.

Issei chuckled as he dismissed the sight in front of him. "I don't care about what he does. Those two don't have the boobs that I was privileged to."

Motohama and Matsuda remembered that Issei said that he was rolling in Double Ds, and they both grabbed him and started to wrestle with him as punishment for getting what they didn't.

Danny and the two girls looked at the trio again, and he couldn't help but feel curious as to what happened to him. Issei wasn't acting any different, as far as he knew, but that was just surface level. 'Guess I should look into it.'

So it was the break in between classes, and Danny was sitting at his desk, looking out the window, deep in thought. Throughout the class, he didn't pay much attention to the lecture as he was observing a few rows ahead and two columns to the right, at Issei, for anything that would tell him if the guy was possessed or something. He was even glancing at the floor to see if there were any feathers that would fall out of his jacket or something.

So far, nothing.

"There something interesting about the perv?"

Danny looked up to see Aika bent over him with a very suggestive smile on her face. "Huh?"

Aika stood up straight before she adjusted her glasses. "Youve been staring at Issei the entire class." She leaned closer to him till her face was in his. "Are you thinking who would be the top?"

It took Danny a second before he realised what she was referring to, and he shoved her away. "Ok, what goes on in that head if that was what you are thinking?"

Aika chuckled as she couldn't help but poke fun at Danny. "You've been staring at him the entire class. Can't help but think that there is something about him that caught your attention."

Danny felt like slapping himself since he was apparently not as subtle as he thought he was. "There was just something I had to make sure of. So far, I got nothing. And no, it is nothing to do with what is causing you to smile like that." He looked up at the girl and saw that she was starting to think of something he did not want to be part of.

Aika had a glint in her glasses. "Oh, are you saying you werente imaginging the two of you sitting in the middle of a dark room, with the heat between you causing you to-"

Danny immediately stood up and covered her mouth to get her to stop. "Is there a filter in your brain that needs replacing?" He wanted her to stop all sorts of thoughts in that realm, as he did not need that mental image in his head. He looked at her and could see the teasing glee she had, and really wanted to say something back, but he had nothing on her.

The smile hidden behind his hand could not be stopped. She moved his hand off of her, but she did not look deterred. "Can't handle such a scene? Aw, poor foreigner." She wasn't being derogatory, she was just being teasing.

Danny ran his face down his face as she was just going all in on this weird thought process. "Pleeeease, stop."

She shrugged with a smile on her face. "Alright, I'll stop, but that doesn't mean I won't have those thoughts about you and the perv as I go and mess with him." She moved away from Danny as she waved her hand dismissively over her shoulder before she moved to Issei and leaned on his shoulder, poking his cheek.

Danny let out a sigh as that girl just removed all forms of energy he had. "What is wrong with these people?" He was brought out of his dropping mood when he heard a bunch of girls start cheering and shrieking. He looked over to the door to see all the girls gathered around a newcomer. It was then that he felt the same thing that was coming from Iseei within the crowd. As the girls parted, he saw who it was.

Kiba came in, smiling at all the girls who were around him. "You all look lovely today. I'm sorry, but I have some business to take care of." He gently excused himself and walked toward Issei. "Ah, there you are."

Aika looked up to see Kiba walking in their direction and saw that he was looking at Issei. "Oh ho? Is this the start of something more juicy?"

Danny heard this and called out. "Do you ever stop?"

Aika looked back at Danny with awide grin. "Nope." She went back to leaning on Issei's head, causing the boy to grumble.

Issei groaned as Aika was on his head, but he looked toward Kiba and wondered what he could want with him until he realised that Kiba was the one that Rias said would be coming for him. "Wait, are you the one that was sent?"

Kiba nodded. "Indeed, I've come to fetch in response to our president's orders."

The girls were now in distress as they saw Kiba talking to Issei. Murayama and Katase were crying as they clasped their hands with each other.

Murayama cried out. "No, Kiba, don't get close. You'll catch pervert."

Danny heard this and had to cover his mouth, as that was just funny.

Kiba's eyes shifted to Danny, thinking that he looked like any normal person. But then again, Fallen Angels and Angels can come off as such as well. He was warned about Danny by Rias, and he was going to take her word seriously.

Issei had to put some force into his movement as AIka would not get off him. "Get off me."

Aika shrugged as she wrapped her arms around his neck. "Aw, you're so mean to me. And after we had such a steamy night."

Issei grumbled as he moved her arms off of him. "You wish."

Aika, not losing any bravado, shook her head. "More like you wish. There is no way you could get any, no matter how hard you try." She cocked her hip and gestured to herself. "And you wish you could have some of this."

Issei shook his head before he started to follow Kiba.

Danny watched as Issei left with Kiba. 'Yeah, Kiba is part of it too.'

"You're staring again." Aika came up from behind Danny and placed her chin on his shoulder and poked his face. "You really are- ow!"

Danny brought his hand up and flicked her forehead. He was already losing his mental strength because of her. Ghosts that could rip apart streets and level towns, he can handle. This girl? His will to fight just falls.

"So, you're all devils." Issei stared at all of the members of the occult research club as they all had black wings coming out of their backs. He even had his own set of wings that were coming out of his back. 'So… my life as a normal person is over?'

Rias nodded. "Yes, in order to save your life, I had to convert you into a devil. And thanks to this, there are many perks that have now been granted to you."

Issei was still having a hard time believing this. Sure, he was seeing proof in front of him and with how they told him that Yuma was real, despite how everyone seemed to have forgotten her, but still, Devils."

Rias could see that Issei was having some difficulty accepting it, but she still had to continue on with her explanation. "Issei, there is one more thing I need to inform you about."

Issei looked up at Rias and waited for her to tell him more. 'Great, what else is she gonna tell me?'

Rias crossed her arms as she grew thoughtful. "Your fellow classmate, Danny, I want you to be careful around him."

Issei tilted his head. "What do you mean?"

Rias brought her hand up as she explained. "You already know about the Fallen Angels and how they have a problem with us devils. Well, it turns out there is another party that is possibly against us. Your classmate Danny had an interaction with another Fallen Angel that was hiding within our town."

Issei was shocked to hear about Danny dealing with a fallen angel, too. If he had a run-in with one, then he might have died, just like him. "Is he a devil too?"

Rias shook her head. "No, we actually don't know what he is. We were informed that his interaction was much different from yours. When the Fallen angel attacked him, he altered his appearance before defeating her. He did it with such ease and carelessness that we weren't able to gauge his current strength. We don't know where his allegiance lies, so we are trying to keep our distance for now. If he proves to be a threat, we plan on dealing with him, but for now, you should be aware that he is dangerous. Don't antagonise him, otherwise….. We don't know what he will do."

Issei was surprised to hear that Danny was able to deal with a Fallen angel. He had only dealt with one, but he ended up dead. If Danny beat one… yeah, he is going to keep away from him in case the guy ends up being some sort of hidden psychopath.

Rais let out a sigh before she smiled to ease the tension. "But you don't have to worry about that. We are handling it ourselves. For now, we have something else that you should know you should do."

Issei wondered what they needed him to do. He was curious and a bit excited about it since he had no idea what else he could do.

~Later~

Danny didn't know what he was doing. Oh, wait, yes, he did. He was following Issei, high above and invisible, as the guy was out riding his bike, heading off somewhere. He had to give up his after-school kendo practice in order to tail this guy. Since Issei suddenly got the same feeling that several others had, he hoped that if he followed the new guy, he might be able to figure out what was going on. If Issei has something to do with the monster woman he dealt with before, then he would have to ask the guy why.

Issei didn't seem like someone who would want to cause problems, but that might just be a facade

At the moment, unknown to Danny, Issei was tasked with delivering fliers to specified areas and posting them on public boards to set up devil contracts. Danny was just tailing Issei after waiting for the guy at the school campus.

Danny heard Issei start mumbling to himself with his super hearing, and he focused on what he was saying.

"I'M GONNA HAVE A HAREM! THEIR GONNA BE NAKED ALL THE TIME! I'M THE KING OF THE WORLD~!"

Danny was so shocked by the exclamation that he had lost control of his flight, fell straight down, and crashed onto the roof of one of the houses. Danny placed a hand on his head as his eyes were wide in surprise. "I…..don't even…. Is that all this guy cares about? Naked girls?" He slowly got up and shook his head as he just couldn't understand how someone could be so focused on naked females so much that they proudly shout out that they were going to have a harem of naked girls. He moved to the edge of the flat roof and held onto the edge, with his hand still on his forehead. "Issei really is as bad as all the girls in the Kendo club say." What do you say to hearing a guy scream that out loud?

He stood there for a few more moments to get his mind working right again before he shook his head. Once he got his sanity back, he looked up, only to freeze when he lost sight of Issei. "Oh, come on!" He flew up into the air to try and get a glimpse of Issei, but it was like the guy vanished. He went invisible and flew in the direction Issei was going but he could not find any sign of him.

He tried to sense Issei, but he couldn't get any tingle of him. It was odd; he could feel others from a bit of distance, but Issei, he could barely feel it, even when he was in the same room.

Danny let out a frustrated groan before he flew off to try and get a visual

Danny gave up.

He has been searching for hours, and so far, Issei disappeared without a trace. Danny let out a sigh as he wasted his time tailing Issei and didn't get anything out of this. "I should have just stayed for the Kendo practice. At least then it would be fun, and I wouldn't be out so late, just to fly around, and not really enjoy it." He grumbled as he decided that he should just head home and call it a night. "If I find out that Issei set me up to follow him randomly and disappear, I am so going to punch him in the face." He jumped into the air and flew toward his house, this time leisurely as at least he knew his house was stationary. He smirked as a stupid thought came to him. "If I see my house get up and dance away, I will officially call the guys in white coats to take me away." He blinked as he started to think about how the term "guys in white coats" and the "Guys in white" were really close. "No wonder they are clearly insane."

Suddenly, Danny felt the same feeling he got from Mettelt, and he grew serious. "Ok, now that is something!" Not wanting to be late like he was last time, he shifted his legs into his ghostly tail before launching himself toward where he felt it coming from.

His sharp eyes caught sight of two people on the street, with one having a pair of wings and summoning a spear of light. "Shit!" Danny was a distance away, and he saw the winged one pull their arm back. "Not this time!" He was still way too far away to catch it, but that didn't mean he couldn't hit it. He pulled his hand back as an ecto blast charged up.

Issei was panicking as another fallen angel had appeared, and he was on his own. He didn't know how to fight back or how to unleash the power that Rias told him he had. "Oh, man, am I gonna die again?!" 'No, I gotta bring out that power Rias told me about! I just gotta focus. Come on! I don't even have my harem yet!'

Kalawarner looked at the boy who was crawling on the ground. "I have better things to do than deal with the leftovers, so I'm gonna end this quick." She summoned her lightspear and pulled her arm back. "Next time, Rayner should make sure she finishes the job."

Issei clenched his eyes shut as he tried to summon whatever power he had. 'Come on! Show up!' He suddenly felt something pulse within his chest as his hand started to burn.

Suddenly, a green light enveloped the area, and power pulsed around Issei. A red gauntlet suddenly formed around his left hand, and he found himself being forced into a tumble until he hit the wall of the street.

Despite the shock of the appearance of a Sacred Gear, Kalawarner was already in the process of throwing the spear. 'He's gotta die, here and now!'

Before she could even let the spear leave her hand, a blast destroyed it. The world slowed as she watched her spear shatter in her hands, only for another to shatter her shock and send her flying. She bounced off the concrete a few times before rolling on the ground. The force of the crash caused her wing to break and leave gashes in her. Once she stopped, she could barely move as her chest burned from whatever it was that hit her and the wounds she got from her tumble. With great force, she slowly sat up as she held her left arm. "What the hell was that?!" She looked back toward the one she came to kill, and he looked just as shocked as she was by the sudden turn of events. 'There is no way it came from him, did it?' Her senses then felt that there was another presence, and she looked up in the air and saw a figure in the distance, lower to a rooftop. In anger, she spat out. "So he has some protector." She looked down at herself and knew that she was in no shape to fight anymore. Whatever it was that hit her, it was strong. "I'm not gonna risk my life for something like this. You got lucky today, you brat, be thankful for that." With those words, she teleaported away.

Issei was panting as a lot happened in the span of three seconds. "What….?" He looked down at his hand and saw a red fingerless gauntlet with a green gem and yellow spikes protruding out of its side. "Did I do that?" He stared at the thing that was now in his hand and figured that this was the power that Rias said he had. "Oh, wow."

A Mile away, Danny stood on a rooftop as he saw the crow woman teleport away. "Ok, at least I can say that the crow people aren't with whatever Issei is part of. But now I have so many more questions." He focused on Issei and saw the red gauntlet that was now on his hand. "Don't know what that is, but at least the dude is alive." He suddenly felt another figure heading his way. It was the same feeling he got from Issei, but this was stronger. "That's my cue." He became intangible and invisible before he phased through the house and into the ground. He flew off in a random direction so he wouldn't lead whoever it was back to his house.

Suddenly, Koneko landed on the same roof Danny was at, but did not see anything. "Got away." She sensed where he was, but since it was leaving the area rapidly, she soon lost it as it was out of range for her. "Hmm." She turned back to see Issei in the distance and decided to go and make sure he was ok.

Danny phased out of the ground of his living room and transformed back into his human form before he let out a sigh. "Things just get more complicated the more I look into it. Issei is part of something and now has some red metal gauntlet. One thing I know for sure is that the crow people are trouble, and I'm gonna have to deal with them." He yawned as it was late, and he was now in the mood for some sleep. "Now if only I could find their hideout." But that was for another time; right now, bed was calling him.

~Next morning~

Danny yawned as he wished he could have slept more, but thanks to this being a school day, he had to be awake, even though he was up super late. And he was also heading to the school really early. He was going in early to head to the kendo club and maybe get some practice done with the early birds of the club. It would be a good way to wake up, and he was sure that the girls in the kendo club would be mad at him for not showing up in the club activities after school yesterday.

He felt a good breeze and paused as he enjoyed the refreshing air. "Ok, maybe this isn't a total loss. At least I get some crisp, fresh air getting up this early."

"Ah!"

Danny was snapped out of his moment as he heard someone yell, and he looked at where it came from. But what he saw caused him to blush, as what he saw was a pair of panties. A pair that is at the moment being worn by a girl who had fallen down and had her ass in the air, and her skirt riding up. He turned his head and coughed. Shifting his eyes back, he saw that the girl must have tripped and dropped her suitcase, which opened up and spread the clothes everywhere. Choosing not to stay there and just have her panties clear to see, he should help her up. He moved closer and asked. "Are you ok?" His eyes flashed over to her ass once more, and his blush just got redder.

The girl slowly pushed herself into a sitting position. "Ow. I'm such a clutz." She was wearing a long black dress with white edging and gold embroidery on the hem, a white shoulder drape with blue hems and crosses on the corners. On her head was a white veil with the same blue design as her shoulder drapes and a cross in the center where her forehead was. Around her neck was a silver cross that lay on the top of her breasts.

She shifted her head, just as another breeze blew through the area and blew off her veil, revealing her long blonde hair and bright green eyes.

Danny couldn't help but find her cute, but he was more concerned with the veil. His hand snapped to his side and grabbed the veil before it got away from them. "Whoa!" He was glad that he was able to grab it and not chase after it. "Good thing this didn't get away." He then held it out to her. "Here."

The girl smiled as she took the veil. "Thank you very much." She took the veil before she put it on her head.

Danny nodded as he did not move his hand. "Here, let me help you up."

The girl gently took his hand before using it to get up. "Thank you again."

Danny looked at the girl before shifting his gaze toward the luggage. "Do you need any help with your stuff?"

The girl looked at her open suitcase before looking back at him. I don't want to take up your time."

Danny smiled as he shrugged. "I don't mind. I have plenty of time before I actually have to be anywhere." He moved over to the suitcase and put his bag down before he looked at the girl and introduced himself. "By the way, I'm Danny."

The girl bowed in gratitude. "You are being very helpful." She moved to help out as well since it was her stuff. "And my name is Asia. Asia Argento."

Danny nodded at her with a smile. "Pleasure to meet you."

It took them a couple of minutes to put her stuff back into her suitcase, with Danny letting her do some of them since it was her underwear. After they finished, they stood up and looked around for anything they might have missed.

Danny nodded as he saw that there wasn't anything left on the ground. "Well, looks like we were able to get everything."

Asia bowed to Danny as she was extremely grateful for his help. "Yes, and I am sorry for inconveniencing you so early."

Danny waved his hand dismissively. "Like I said, I don't have anywhere I need to be so soon. I've still got a couple of hours before I need to be there, so I don't lose anything here."

Hearing this, Asia thought about what he said and how he had free time right now. 'Maybe I can…?' She grew nervous as she started to poke her fingers together and asked. "Um, do you mind if you help me out one more time?"

Danny raised an eyebrow as he had no idea what she would need his help with anything. "Sure, if I can help, then I'll do it."

She felt elated at how he was willing to help. "Um, I'm kinda lost, so can you help me find where I need to go?"

Danny wasn't the best at finding out where everything was, but he never knew until she asked. "If I can, then I will."

Asia smiled as she asked. "I need to find the church in this town, and if you know the way, can you tell me?"

Danny thought about any churches he had seen during one of his flights and remembered seeing one. He looked up towards the sky before looking around at the surrounding area. It took him a moment before he got his bearings and figured out where the church was. Nodding to himself, he reached down and picked up her suitcase. "Yeah, I think I know where it is from here. I can take you there."

Asia fidgeted as she was a little concerned about him picking up her case. "You don't have to. You can just tell me where it is, and I can head over there myself."

Danny smiled at her as he started to walk away. "Sorry, the inner hero in me won't let me just tell you where it is. Like I said, I've got time. So, let's go."

Asia moved to walk with him as they started to make their way toward the church.

A few minutes after they left, Issei came walking into the same area, feeling down for ruining his chance of getting a contract from the person he met last night.

Danny and Asia were walking through a paved pathway with flowers at their sides as Asia told him that she had just been assigned to the church in town.

Danny hummed in thought. "So, you're a nun. Little different from what I thought one would look like, but I don't know many, so I'm not the guy to ask about it."

Asia smiled at him as she continued. "Well, I am also a trainee, so this is what I wear for my training. The official nuns have a more formal wear and are more standardised. I am being sent here to finish my training and to accomplish a special task."

Danny tilted his head as he asked. "What kind of task? If you are allowed to tell me." Before he could get an answer, he heard some grunting and looked to his left at a park to see a young boy hanging off a branch, one that looked ready to snap.

Asia turned to see what it was he was looking at, and she saw the same thing and panicked as she could tell that from that height, the boy would get hurt. She was surprised when Danny rushed over, at a quick speed, just as the boy let go of the branch.

Danny ran over as he saw the kid fall and dropped into a knee slide, catching the boy before he hit the ground. He slid on the ground as the kid was in his arms and was glad he was able to get there in time. A moment after they stopped, he moved the kid to stand in front of him. "You ok?" He looked the kid over and saw that there wasn't a scratch on him.

The kid looked down at himself before he smiled at Danny. "I'm ok! Thanks!"

Danny nodded as he pushed himself up. "Next time, make sure that you don't climb something that tall. You could have gotten hurt otherwise."

The kid nodded before he bowed and ran off. "Thank you!"

Danny waved at the kid, as he was happy the kid wasn't hurt. 'Sometimes my hero complex is a good thing.'

"Danny, are you ok?"

Dannny turned to see Asia looking up at him. He smiled at her. "Yeah, I'm fine. Something like that was nothing."

Asia looked at how Danny seemed to be ok, but as she looked over his body, she saw that his knee was bleeding through a rip on his right pant leg. "You're bleeding!"

Danny looked down at his leg and saw the rip. "Oh, I can clean that up when I get to the school."

Asia shook her head. "Please, hold still."

Danny was about to ask what she was about to do, but he got his answer when he saw her hands start to glow over his knee. He stared in awe at how she was glowing green, and he suddenly felt a sort of power coming from her. It was different from the bird people and the ones that were at the school. 'Ok, this is another thing that is going on. But she doesn't come off as a bad person. She is more like a pure innocent girl compared to the other weird girls I've seen.' He saw her finish up and pull her hands away. He looked down at his knee and saw that there was no longer a wound there. "Whao."

Asia got up and smiled at him. "I'm glad you're ok."

Danny lifted his knee to get a better look and saw that the skin was now closed, and he was no longer bleeding. Looking back at her, he asked. "How did you do that?"

Asia smiled at him. "I've had this power for a long time. It has allowed me to heal anyone who is hurt."

Danny was surprised to hear that. "Wow, that is one heck of a power." He moved over to her suitcase and picked it up. "You must be really popular with everyone if you can heal any sort of injury." The two started walking again as they continued talking.

Asia nodded. "Yes, I call it a gift. If Ican heal those who are hurt, I feel like it is my responsibility to make them feel better."

Danny smiled at her. "Are you sure you aren't a saint?" He looked ahead and saw the church not that far away. As they got closer, he could start to feel something he knew very well at this point.

Asia nodded. "No, I'm nowhere near able to call myself a saint. I just have the power to heal everyone."

Danny shrugged. "Still sounds like a saint to me." He smiled at her as he was being honest about this.

Asia blushed at his smile. "Thank you very much. But…. There have been times my healing has caused problems." She mumbled the last part as she was a little ashamed by it

Danny saw her crestfallen expression and figured that he shouldn't pry into her business if it causes her distress. "You don't have to tell me if it's a problem. Your past is yours, so don't let me dig up dark pasts." He looked ahead and saw they were coming up to the church. He really wished that what he was feeling was off, at least by a building or two, but it turns out he was wrong.

They both stopped right in front of the church, and Asia smiled at finally arriving.

Asia was truly grateful for meeting Danny and having him lead her here. She might have never found it if someone so wonderful hadn't found her. She turned to Danny with glee on her face. "Thank you so much for all you have done for me."

Danny looked at her with a serious expression, but dropped it for a smile. "No problem. But…." He looked back at the church and asked. "Are you sure this is the church you were sent to?"

Asia nodded. "Oh, yes. This is the place. I will be staying here for a while, and someone will come by and take me out for some training later today."

Danny stared up at the church as his eyebrows furrowed. Without looking at Asia, he asked. "You mind if I come visit sometime? I'd like to see you again when I have free time."

Asia clapped her hands in front of her as she smiled brightly. "Oh, yes! I would love it if you came to visit me when you can."

Danny nodded as he finally turned to look at her. "Great, cause I want to make sure you are doing alright while you stay here." He turned to look back at the church and narrowed his eyes. He could feel it, but he hoped that Asia would be ok for the time being.

Asia saw the look he had and asked. "Is there something wrong, Danny?" She looked from him to the church as she was not sure what it was that had him so tense.

Danny shook his head. "Let's just say, I've got a gut feeling that I should stick close to you for a while."

From within the church, a certain blonde fallen angel, Mittelt, was hiding at the side of a window she was peaking through. She saw the holder of the sacred gear they plan on extracting, but next to her was the guy she had tried to kill, who easily beat her. She was not expecting to see him again; in fact, she did not want to see him again since his power was enough to finish her off. She whispered to herself as she poked an eye out to see Danny wave to Asia and start to walk away. "If he finds out we are here and what we are planning, he might just come back and finish the job. I don't know if Kalawarner or Dohnaseek could handle him." She looked out the window again and saw Danny a block away, but looking back at the church. She hid once more as her mind was making her think he was looking right at her. "I don't know if I can handle this if he comes messing with us."
