Over dewy meadows, and dearie fawns, a sun dove;
I pray in awe, enraptured by the Lord's endless love.
Some hour, floated I, in a reverie woven with affinity;
You, my lover, evoked in me most an echo of Divinity.
Shall I surrender to the labyrinth of your thoughts;
Until you come back to me and untie my knots?
I will seal my prayers with teardrops that kiss aisles;
May God go before you in all your battles and trials.
Separates us no million miles or sonorous streams;
Remember Him, and you shall see me in dreams.
Come, make me whole before Christmas belongs;
A blessed day awaits you to glorify Christ with songs.
Each day my heart swells more as the garden grows;
As I learn to love as the King of kings on the Cross.
