Chapter 37 - 35 Chapter

A den. The wolf brought me to a den. I got off the wolf and bent down to have a glance at how it looks inside. When I did that, I felt a push coming from the wolf, and I fell into the den with a roll and a yelp. When I sat up and glanced at the wolf, it simply... walked into the den too and pressed down on me, making me lie flat on the ground with its head on my stomach. ´Hey! Get up! I'm not your bed! Get off!´I voiced my objections, but the wolf didn't budge at all. I groaned from annoyance, trying to wiggle out from under it. The wolf growled at me instead and lay down even more firmly on me.

I pushed the wolf off of me once again, but the wolf smalled into me, making me slam my head against the ground hard. I gasped once I felt the pain, and as some lost memories started to play back. I saw myself and my dead husband. I started to remember how we won wars, how we protected the earth from big threats, and how much we loved each other.

I felt my powers fully activate; I used earth control to separate myself from the wolf. Vines wrapped themselves around the wolf and sent him far, far away from me and the castle. After a while, the night started to come, the wind was cold but yet welcoming. I got up and started to walk back to the castle. I bet the guys are worried sick about me. I chuckled while thinking about them, and then I heard something rustling behind me. I stopped abruptly, turning around quickly to find someone standing a few yards behind me.

A man appeared in front of me, his hair white and black. He wore a white suit with black pants and shoes. His eyes were deep, dark, and piercing. ´Who are you? What do you want?´ I asked, standing my ground while watching his every move. I could not see his full face because half of it was covered. He stepped closer towards me, and I took a step back, still watching him. ´Don´t you remember me? You promised that you would remember me no matter how much time would pass...´ He spoke up in his deep, cold voice, which got me puzzled. Who is he? ´I will ask again. Who are you?´ I asked more firmly.

He chuckled and came closer to me. My hands started to glow, and the earth started to shift around me. I built a small earth wall between us as a warning, but he broke through it, which surprised me. I took a couple of steps back, creating more space between us. ´It has been so long since we met.´ He said. ´So where have you been hiding all this time? Why are you looking for someone? Who are they to you?´ He kept talking, but I wasn't listening anymore. He walked closer and closer towards me, and I had enough. I used the air element and levitated away from his reach.

´Before you go, you should see what you are missing, dear Taraji.´ He spoke up and took off the cover of his face, and I froze in the air. ´No.... It cna´t be...I saw you...You took your last breath in my arms....´
