Chapter 27: Why Are So Many People Recently Considering Changing Jobs?

In the capital, at a professional archaeological institution:

"Unscrupulous media's standards are plummeting," Zhang Xuguo remarked with disdain as he looked at news articles on his phone.

Recently, a tomb of a top prince had been unearthed at the junction of four provinces, causing a sensation in the archaeological world. Zhang Xuguo had heard about it, and he decided to search for more details.

To his surprise, the unscrupulous media claimed that a construction team had excavated the tomb, unearthing more than 8,000 cultural relics with a preservation rate of 90%. Zhang Xuguo found this hard to believe, as even professional archaeological teams struggled to achieve an 80% integrity rate. The idea of construction workers achieving such results seemed like a fantasy to him.

"They're just making up stories," Zhang Xuguo muttered to himself, shaking his head. He then decided to call his close friend, Hu Zhengchu, for more information.

"Hello? Old Hu, it's me, Lao Zhang. I have a question for you. Are you currently at the border of the four provinces? Has there been a recent discovery of a large tomb from the Han Dynasty?" Zhang Xuguo inquired over the phone.

On the other end of the line, Hu Zhengchu's voice responded, "Yes, a large tomb was indeed discovered, and all the excavation work has been completed. The cultural relics have been sent to a specialized cultural relic bureau for appraisal and preservation."

Zhang Xuguo's expression brightened slightly, and he couldn't help but ask, "How efficient was the excavation of the princely tomb? Which archaeological team was responsible for it?"

"The archaeological team?" Hu Zhengchu replied with a hint of confusion. "Where did you hear about an archaeological team? I was the one who led the excavation, but by the time I arrived at the site, the construction workers had already completed the excavation."

"What?!" Zhang Xuguo was left bewildered by this revelation.

Hu Zhengchu explained the situation in detail, helping Zhang Xuguo understand the sequence of events. It turned out that, contrary to his expectations, the tomb had indeed been excavated by a construction team, but it had been done under the guidance of Qin Mu, the president of Shanhe University.

After comprehending the situation, Zhang Xuguo commented, "The internet wasn't lying after all. A construction team really did excavate the tomb. But wait, Old Hu, I've been thinking about changing jobs recently..."

Hu Zhengchu: "..."

In Lincheng, at the construction site:

"Absolutely, I'll do it!" Qin Mu replied with a smile as he spoke on the phone.

Hu Zhengchu had called him to express the interest of many of his friends in joining Shanhe University. Qin Mu welcomed their interest, especially since they were accomplished professionals in the field of archaeology. Such individuals could be recruited directly without the need for an examination. He understood that their motivation for joining was to access the ancient technique of finding dragons and sharing wealth, a method that had been lost for a long time.

"This way, our archaeology faculty won't have to worry about finding qualified teachers," Qin Mu mused to himself. As for recruiting for other majors, he would have to employ different tactics over time.

Currently, the tomb had been successfully excavated, and Qin Mu had used the technique of finding dragons and sharing wealth to search the school site thoroughly. However, no additional burial sites had been discovered. Under the guidance of Liu Datou, the construction project had resumed.

The workers were operating heavy machinery and putting in overtime to construct the school gate, which was situated between the two mountains. Qin Mu observed the progress and evaluated the situation, knowing that time was of the essence.

With the burial having caused a day-long delay, there were now 24 days left to complete the task of building the school within one month. Qin Mu was acutely aware that he needed to work swiftly to meet this deadline.

Two days later, at the construction site:

After two days of continuous work, the project had made significant progress. The area between the two mountains where the school gate was located had been cleared and prepared for construction.

"The next step is to assemble the school gate," Qin Mu observed as he gazed ahead at the construction site.

According to his plan, the school gate would be a towering structure, tens of meters in height and weighing tens of tons. It would be assembled in segments and span the gap between the two mountains. The words "Shanhe University" would be prominently displayed in the center of the school gate, while the school motto and rules would be engraved on both sides. This gate would serve as the primary entrance and exit for Shanhe University.

"Boss Qin, the construction team is short on manpower," Liu Datou reported urgently as he approached Qin Mu.
