Chapter 11: Admissions Guide and Astounding Scores

That night, after Qin Mu finished his broadcast, he accessed the system mall as recommended by netizens.

As they had mentioned, the Shanhe University he had built was currently a "three-no" university: it lacked the qualifications to operate, enroll students, and confer degrees.

Even after graduating from his university, the diplomas and graduation certificates held no legal validity and were not recognized.

However, with the versatile system at his disposal, this problem could be resolved perfectly.

"I didn't expect that you could even purchase a complete set of school qualifications in the system mall," Qin Mu marveled as he perused the mall's offerings.

In the mall, various school qualifications could be obtained in exchange for challenge points:

[Kindergarten School Qualification]: 10 challenge points.

[Elementary School Qualification]: 20 challenge points.

[Secondary School Qualification]: 30 challenge points.

[Ordinary University Education Qualification]: 40 challenge points.

These qualifications encompass school accreditation, enrollment eligibility, and the validity of graduation certificates.

However, it was essential to note that the educational qualifications of ordinary universities met only the most basic educational requirements, and the diplomas they issued held limited prestige compared to those of top-tier universities. A [Top University Education Qualification] required 1000 challenge points to redeem.

Qin Mu glanced at his challenge point balance, which only amounted to 60. Therefore, he reluctantly chose to exchange for the [Ordinary University Education Qualification].

"Ding! The host is exchanging for [Ordinary University Education Qualification]. Please provide the university name, school badge, school motto, and other necessary information for the registration process."

The light flickered, and the system's mechanical voice sounded. Qin Mu's expression brightened as he swiftly filled out all the required details for Shanhe University.

"Ding! Congratulations to the host, the school qualification has been successfully registered."

After a few seconds, another system prompt reassured Qin Mu, who nodded in satisfaction. Although he remained unaware of how the system accomplished this, it had undeniably saved him a lot of trouble.

"It's time to create an admissions brochure," Qin Mu thought as he turned on his computer to begin working on Shanhe University's recruitment plan.

The next day, in Jiangcheng, a studio caught Su Xueyi's attention. She picked up her paintbrush before habitually clicking on Shanhe University's official website, eager to read the admissions brochure mentioned by Qin Mu.

Having recently completed the college entrance examination, Su Xueyi had been keen on applying to an art college for further studies.

Qin Mu's painting skills had already surpassed those of many renowned artists from top domestic institutions.

If Shanhe University truly admitted students, she intended to make it her first choice for the Painting Department of the Academy of Fine Arts.

"Huh? Did they really update the admissions brochure?" Su Xueyi exclaimed upon logging into the official website.

She swiftly located the admissions brochure and clicked on it with anticipation.

The brochure began with a brief introduction to Shanhe University's illustrious history, its mission, educational philosophy, and its ambitious goal of catching up with top universities.

It proceeded to outline the admissions process, detailing that there were 27 colleges with a total of 192 majors. Admission was limited to students who had completed the college entrance examination from the four provinces of Shanhe.

The brochure emphasized principles such as fair competition, comprehensive assessment of morality, intelligence, and physical fitness, as well as merit-based admission to eliminate unfair competition.

Su Xueyi nodded in approval, finding the brochure's content thus far to be relatively normal, emphasizing fairness and justice, and focusing on students from the four provinces of Shanhe.

However, as she continued scrolling down, she began to notice something unusual.

"The Painting Department of the Academy of Fine Arts is only admitting one hundred students... Isn't that number too small?" Su Xueyi's eyes widened as she felt an unexpected pressure.

Typically, universities admitted at least two hundred or more students for each major, but Shanhe University was limiting it to a mere one hundred.

Furthermore, she noticed the minimum admission scores for each major.

Architecture major: Minimum admission score of 680.

Accounting major: Minimum admission score of 675.

Finance major: Minimum admission score of 690.

Civil Engineering major: Minimum admission score of 685.

Mechanical Engineering Major...

"This... this... The minimum admission score for a Painting major is only 670 points?" Su Xueyi's eyes widened in disbelief.

Subsequently, she checked the minimum admission scores for all 192 majors in the brochure and gasped.

The lowest score requirement for admission was set at 640 points, a threshold even 20 points higher than that of Tsinghua University and Peking University.

At the same time, on Weibo, a hot search titled "Shanhe University Admissions Brochure" rapidly gained popularity, with countless netizens joining the discussion.

"Is this real? Shanhe University's admissions brochure is out, but the score requirements are outrageously high, aren't they?"

"Is he crazy or am I crazy? The score requirements exceed those of Tsinghua University and Peking University."

"Could this admissions brochure be fabricated? Can a university built at such a lightning-fast speed actually admit students?"

"I went to check with the education department, and it turns out Shanhe University is indeed registered, and applications are genuinely open!"

...

For a while, netizens from across the country fell into a perplexed silence.
