"Good morning, Horace," she murmured, stretching with a sleepy smile.

"I'm fine," she whispered. "How about you?"
"I'm better," he replied with a smirk that always made her heart flutter.
He leaned in to kiss her, but the trill of his phone shattered the moment. He sighed and glanced at the screen—it was Xavier.
