The assault team had been selected. Allen sent Natsu with a mark that allowed him to teleport to that location, and then he brought the others with a new magic called "Summoning Magic" This was the greatest reward for defeating Jellal. Aside from that, he received a unique gift for Erza and another for Mirajane, four million Jewels, two potion recipes—which were very useful since they used local ingredients—and a magic sword that he gifted to Erza.
Back to the topic, it was a pity that, as its name suggested, "Summoning" only worked to bring living beings or objects, so it wasn't really a teleportation method.
"Wow, another absurd magic pulled out of nowhere," Gray complained, though relieved he hadn't vomited this time.
"Umu, very convenient..." Erza said.
"Let's finish this quickly, Master," Gajeel grumbled.
"Tsk..." Laxus folded his arms.
Allen narrowed his eyes. "You all should be more tense, and don't be rude to our hostess..."
At that moment, the group paid attention to Wendy. She was nervous but her eyes were shining. She gathered her courage and introduced herself again.
"It's a pleasure. My name is Wendy Marvell, and this is Carla, my friend and partner. We're both part of the guild Cait Shelter~" Wendy smiled kindly, though a bit nervously.
Wendy was a sweet-looking and somewhat shy girl. Her hair was long and navy blue, tied into twin tails with hair accessories. Her clothes weren't flashy; she wore a halter green plaid dress, sandals, golden accessories on their forearms, and finally her guild's emblem–a Cat– on her shoulder.
"Nice to meet you, Wendy," Erza said with a kind smile.
"I..." Gajeel muttered, somewhat intrigued, as he felt something familiar about the girl.
"Nice to meet you," Natsu grinned broadly. Wendy, seeing him and Gajeel, seemed like she wanted to ask something but knew it wasn't the right time, so she held back.
"Hey," Gray greeted lazily.
Wendy's voice was lovely, almost captivating, which even made the usually antisocial Laxus give her a nod as a greeting.
MJ – Her dress is different from the original...
Felicia – Small plot differences don't mean much~
Gwen – She's so cute, Allen, don't you dare...
'I won't! I'm not a degenerate!'
Eve – Maybe not now, but she'll eventually grow up...
'Stop it!'
Kate – Sorry baby, but you're not trustworthy, right Amanda?~
Amanda – Enough with the joke already, okay?!
Albedo – Don't forget our gremlin...
Rebecca – What did you say?! Wanna fight, you big-breasted slut?!
Allen decided to ignore his Chat. Both Rebecca and Amanda, despite their initial appearances, were adult women. He wasn't aiming for Wendy.
[Not now... but in the future]
'You too?!'
This time Allen really ignored everyone and focused on Wendy, who was curiously looking at the whole team. From what he gathered in the comments, Wendy Marvell should have had different clothes in her first appearance, but that wasn't a serious deviation from the original story. Still, he kept it in mind.
Allen had already gone through a lot in this world, and it was obvious his presence was causing a major butterfly effect. Who knew—maybe tomorrow Fairy Tail would be attacked by Tartaros, Grimoire Heart, or Zeref might appear. All of this was because Allen was no longer just a very strong mage but the Guild Master of Fairy Tail, and as such, his actions had a major influence on the world.
"She's... so cute~"
Lucy, who had been silent, stepped forward and hugged Wendy, who was startled by the sudden gesture. Was Lucy's reaction a bit exaggerated?
Allen didn't know...
Since that day when Allen almost ate Lucy, she had started to show a more controlled behavior, even mature in some aspects, though she remained the extroverted and somewhat quirky Lucy Heartfilia.
"Hey, stop bothering Wendy!" Carla yelled angrily.
Carla was a talking cat like Happy, which surprised everyone since they hadn't seen another creature like him before.
Unlike Happy, she has bigger eyes, white fur, a pink skirt and blouse, and a bow on her tail.
"Natsu..." Happy muttered, dazed, "She's so pretty..."
"Happy?" Natsu looked at his partner strangely. "Did you eat something weird?"
"Shut up!"
Happy got mad at Natsu for his lack of consideration, but his attention immediately returned to Carla. Everyone except Natsu could tell Happy had fallen in love. However, it seemed his feelings weren't mutual. Carla, noticing Happy's gaze, crossed her arms and snorted.
"Not in your dreams, you're not my type!" Her cold, rejecting look froze Happy in place. Allen gave him a small consoling pat.
"Enough, all of you. Let's head to Wendy's guild first..." Allen said, bringing the focus back to what mattered.
Even though charging directly at Oración Seis was an option, Allen didn't want to be reckless and arrogant. It was better to gather information... besides:
[Main Mission: Nirvana – This magic must not be used. Stop or destroy the device.]
[Optional Mission: Cait Shelter – Go to this mysterious guild. All the answers will be there.]
Originally, Allen had only contacted Cait Shelter to have a base of operations in case it was needed, since, unlike the original story, they didn't have Master Bob's mansion.
"Wendy, can you guide us?" Allen asked the girl, who was being smothered by Lucy. "Lucy, let her go or we can't continue..."
"Tsk... fine," Lucy released her with a sigh.
Erza approached Allen and whispered, "Lucy's starting to like kids~"
Allen cleared his throat and didn't answer, earning a laugh from Erza and making the three dragons... four, present feel awkward, since with their good hearing they caught everything.
Wendy proceeded to lead the group while asking lots of enthusiastic questions. It was obvious she didn't leave the region often.
Laxus and Gajeel walked in the back without exchanging words—considering their relationship, it was already a miracle they weren't fighting. Natsu and Gray were bickering ahead of them. In front of the fire-and-ice duo were Lucy, Erza, and Wendy chatting.
It wasn't hard to understand what kind of girl Wendy was. She had a shy and kind personality. But she was always determined to make friends and move forward.
Allen was at the front with Carla flying beside him, serving as a guide.
Carla, while flying, watched Wendy's behavior. She could only sigh softly and smile faintly.
Allen noticed this and then turned to Wendy, who was gazing curiously at Erza's sword.
"You care a lot about her..."
Carla looked at Allen but then turned away. "She's been lonely since she was little. Outside the guild, she has no friends or acquaintances. I worry about her living such an isolated life..."
"I see... you're very kind, Carla..." Allen teased.
"What?!" Carla blushed and flew a bit away. "Shut up!"
....
Tony – No bro, don't do it!
Rukia – That's too much, even for you!
McDragon – Get out while you can!
'Huh?!' Allen froze as he glanced at the comments, what were they saying?!
Yoruichi – You know I only turn into a cat. I'm a woman. But she's different, she's an actual cat or something...
Reading what Yoruichi said, he almost stumbled and cursed. He immediately switched to incognito mode and cursed his spectators for suggesting such an absurd thing.
'WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU SAYING?!'
Allen shook his head, remembering his Chat was full of bastards. To prove them wrong, Allen decided to keep talking to Carla, focusing everything on Wendy.
According to Carla, Wendy was very stubborn and always tried to be helpful whenever she could. She was also smart and had a very honest personality—"straightforward and open with her emotions," and easy to be swept along by those around her. However, this also made her "very romantic." She could be spontaneous and "very silly."
Allen smiled at Carla, surprised she gave such a detailed description of Wendy. With that, and after a bit more walking, they finally reached their destination.
(Cait Shelter...)
The headquarters of Cait Shelter was located in the northern part of Fiore, not far from Worth Woodsea, with a mountain range to the north. The building itself stood in a small plain, with rocky formations visible behind it. Those formations held tall wooden guard towers and several massive posts. A large round tiled space in front of the structure was surrounded by other buildings overlooking it and the local community, which, according to Wendy Marvell, was part of the guild.
The building itself was a large pavilion which, true to the guild's name, was shaped like a cat's head.
Wendy stepped ahead, then turned around while stretching out her hands. "Welcome to Cait Shelter!~"
Allen chuckled under his breath, remembering a familiar scene, and when he glanced at Lucy, she did too. However, Allen quickly noticed something strange about the place... it felt empty.
"We're back, everyone!~" Wendy entered the guild as Allen frowned, yet he still followed, and behind him, the rest did too.
Inside, the pavilion showed wooden floors and cloth walls held up by a wooden frame made of several large beams.
The furniture was exotic, with carpets and clothing of ornamental patterns. There were also many objects shaped like cats, along with some natural elements like vines climbing the support beams.
Inside, several mages greeted Wendy and Carla warmly. Allen closed his eyes for a moment before opening them again. He had already figured out the truth, and apparently, some in his group had noticed—or at least suspected—something as well.
"Welcome, friends of Fairy Tail." An elderly man approached with a calm voice and a kind demeanor. "My name is Roubaul, and I am the Guild Master of Cait Shelter..."
Roubaul was a short old man. He had a thick white beard that extended into his sideburns and merged with his eyebrows, while his scalp was completely bald.
He wore gray pelts below his waist that served as pants, extending back to form a thick bundle of fur. He wore golden arm bands like Wendy, while bandages wrapped his wrists and part of his arms. The most striking element of his appearance was a violet-feathered crown with red tips that rested on his head.
Allen nodded politely. "It's a pleasure, Master Roubaul. I'm Allen Walker, Guild Master of Fairy Tail. These are Erza Scarlet, Lucy Heartfilia, Laxus Dreyar, Natsu Dragneel, Gray Fullbuster, Gajeel Redfox, and Happy..."
"Oh, S-Class mages and very strong candidates..." Roubaul widened his eyes in surprise as he realized Fairy Tail was taking Oración Seis seriously. But it made sense—they were a pillar of dark magic.
"Master Roubaul, I'd like to ask you some questions, if it's not too much trouble..."
Roubaul glanced sideways at Wendy before lowering his gaze. 'So the moment has finally come...'
Allen waited for the old man to steel his resolve. Roubaul did not disappoint, soon lifting his head again.
"Master Walker, I will tell you everything—from the true purpose of Oración Seis, the Nirvana... to who I really am."
....
Rogue – This wasn't supposed to happen, was it?
Ruby – Why does the old man know about Oración Seis's objective?
Allen nodded and followed Roubaul. "You all rest, eat if you like. Once I'm done here, we'll head straight for Oración Seis..."
"Yes, Master..." everyone replied, except Laxus.
....
The two entered a private room and sat facing each other.
Roubaul served Allen some tea before asking, "What would you like to know first, Master Walker?"
"First?" Allen took a sip of his tea before fixing his gaze on the old man. "You already know, don't you?"
Roubaul softened his eyes. "Of course, Master Walker would notice right away..."
"Master Roubaul, why is there no one in this guild apart from Wendy, Carla, and you?"
(Half an hour later...)
"That idiot!" Allen shook his head, tapping his foot impatiently on the floor.
"Please, do not blame him... Mystogan. That young man carries a heavy burden..."
"I don't care!" Allen said firmly. "It doesn't matter if she was safe here, it doesn't matter if Mystogan had to save the world—he gave Wendy his word that he would take her to Fairy Tail, and in seven years he never fulfilled that promise! What excuse could he possibly have?! I don't care if he had to clone himself, he should have kept it!"
"...!"
Roubaul gasped in shock at Allen's anger. The old man realized that, in Allen's eyes, a promise made to an orphan girl was as important as saving the world itself.
Roubaul laughed, "So this is Fairy Tail... In that case, I entrust Wendy to you once all of this is over."
....
Allen left the room and rejoined the others, arriving just in time to see Natsu and Gray fighting over a chicken leg while Laxus and Gajeel downed another mug of beer.
"..."
The moment they saw Allen, the atmosphere changed immediately. Gajeel stood up at once, Natsu and Gray stopped fighting, and even Laxus nearly spat out his drink. But Allen ignored them all, instead focusing his gaze on Wendy, who was at another table eating cookies with Lucy while Erza drank water across from them.
"Welcome back~" Lucy said, leaning on the table.
"Did you finish?" Erza asked, with that soft smile she only showed him.
"Yes. It's time to go..." Allen patted Wendy's head. "Wendy, I was surprised to learn you're a Dragon Slayer. I hope I can count on your strength in the next battle."
"Huh?!" Lucy looked at Wendy in disbelief. This sweet little girl was like Natsu, Gajeel, and Laxus?!
"Wendy's a Dragon Slayer?!" Natsu exclaimed.
"You didn't notice, idiot..." Laxus scoffed at him.
Wendy couldn't believe someone as powerful as Allen Walker would recognize her strength. But when she saw his serious, kind, and sincere eyes, she felt she might cry. Instead, she held back and nodded with her chest held high.
"Leave it to me, Captain!"
Erza and Lucy smiled, followed seconds later by the rest of the team—even Laxus cracked a faint smile.
Roubaul, watching from afar, was satisfied with this outcome. He knew that once Wendy learned the truth, she would be devastated, and she would need someone to lean on.
'I'm sorry for lying to you all these years...' Roubaul thought.
Cait Shelter was created seven years ago. And it was all because of Mystogan, who had brought an unconscious Wendy Marvell to Roubaul and asked him to take care of her. Mystogan had found her in the forest after, like Natsu and Gajeel, her dragon "Grandeeney" had vanished.
Mystogan had promised Wendy he would take her to Fairy Tail once he returned from his mission. He told Roubaul this, and the kind old man, realizing Wendy was an orphan without a home or family, committed the kindest lie he could: he created an entire guild of illusory people so Wendy would feel happy.
This lie had lasted seven years, but everything has an end, and Roubaul was reaching his limit. He could no longer sustain the illusion. For Wendy, this guild was her home, her family, and losing them all would be unbearably sad.
Allen was furious with Mystogan. He didn't know what had driven him to do this, but seven years—seven years without returning to fulfill his promise...
'I hope you have a damn good excuse...' Allen thought coldly.
Somewhere in Fiore, Mystogan shivered down his spine.
Allen turned to the old man. 'But still... this old man is a Nirvit?'
Of course, aside from Wendy's case, Allen also understood other things—like the fact that this elder wasn't human but a spirit-like race, and that he was the creator of Nirvana, the magic that could destroy all legal guilds and which Oración Seis so desperately sought...
Allen already knew what had to be done.
"Fairy Tail, it's time to destroy Oración Seis. We cannot let those bastards get their hands on Nirvana!"
The moment they felt Allen's seriousness, everyone stood up, ready for war...

(A/N: Timeless Fragment)
(Marvel)
One day Allen went out for a walk with MJ and Jeff—the strange, cute shark who always seemed to find him and ask for food.
"Oh, how about we go to the movies?" MJ said happily, thrilled to be on a date.
"I doubt they let sharks in..." Allen laughed as he lay down on the pretty girl's head—remember, at this moment, he was in his chibi-sized form.
"Then?" MJ tilted her head cutely as she thought.
"Hey, don't forget I'm on your head," Allen reminded her, holding onto MJ's hair so he wouldn't fall.
"Sorry~" MJ hugged him against her chest as she apologized.
"Don't worry... Wait, where's Jeff?" Allen realized the tiny shark with legs had disappeared.
"Tsk!"
Tony had explained to him that Jeff could be troublesome.
Growling noises...
Just as Allen was about to go looking for him, Jeff came bounding back with something in his jaws. He dropped it in front of them—it was a prosthetic leg.
"Oh no..." MJ went pale.
"Jeff, bad!" Allen scolded, and Jeff lowered his head. "Quick, MJ, we need to find the owner and apologize..."
"Yes!"
The date seemed ruined, but in the end, they remembered it as something funny.

A/N: Basically, Mystogan picked Wendy up from the forest and handed her over to an old man who walks through life half-naked... 🍷🗿
