Beyond the beach, a dark figure burst out of the ground.
It loomed heavily over the soft, wet sand.
It was a monster stitched together from several different creatures.
The head resembled that of an ox, with a pair of giant horns, and in front, it had a pair of large pincers like those of an arthropod. The torso looked like an octopus, with numerous slippery, suckered tentacles writhing and wriggling.
One could see lumps like human faces bulging out, tearing open on the torso of the monster in the rear, shrieking.
That thing was likely the youkai known as the Ox Demon.
