Elena's POV
I woke up on a bed, which felt so different. The windows were closed. I yawned as I sat up. I saw Alpha Darius sleeping on a couch. I couldn't believe I slept in his room. I looked under the blanket, my clothes were still in tact, except that I wasn't wearing my shoes anymore. I slowly got out of the bed. I took my phone which was on the table beside the bed. I glanced at. Killian had called me, yesterday and someone had answered my call. Was it Darius?
I heard him turn on the couch. I looked at him. He opened his eyes slowly, "Elena, you're awake. How are you?" he inquired, sitting up.
"Why am I in your room?" I questioned. "And did you answer my phone call?"
He stood up. "This is the best room in this pack house. I thought you would feel more comfortable here."
How dared him think such? Why would I feel comfortable in his room? I felt so awkward and ashamed. "I don't feel comfortable."
"I apologize for the misconception," he said, stretching my coat to me.
