As the words fell, just looking at the elders' expressions, Rod knew this matter was basically settled.
The King was clearly in favor of expansion as well; he said it like this just to avoid being nagged by those elders.
However, the First Elder Amendo was not ready to compromise. He stepped forward and said solemnly, "Alan, I want to know your opinion."
The First Knight Alan seemed somewhat surprised. Since entering the council hall, he had been quite low-key, seemingly trying to diminish his presence to avoid overshadowing Olivia.
"Elder Amendo."
He bowed politely to him.
"I follow everyone's opinion."
Amendo gave him a deep look, said nothing further, and instead turned his head to ask, "Rod, the eighth Fire Son, I want to know your opinion."
