NEOMA and Nero talked to the person who could help them— Ruto.
The three of them had a meeting in one of the parlor rooms of the palace.
Apparently, it was safe to talk there since no one would be eavesdropping on them. Plus, there were no cameras either.
"Can you really do that?" Nero asked carefully after Ruto explained how he was planning to help them. "I know that you're planning to become a priest, Ruto Hyung. But it's as if you have superpowers, you know? Are you a secret saint or something?"
Neoma glared at Nero in silence.

She didn't voice it out because she decided not to openly show her feelings for Ruto anymore.

"Let's just say there's a reason why the saints here are desperate to make me a priest," Ruto said vaguely. "I won't force you to believe me. And it's up to you whether you want to accept my help or not. After all, it's your lives you're risking here."
