The competition for the Path of Humans' Qi Luck initially did not see any True Immortal genuinely stepping in. Some forces still had the opportunity to dominate a region. But now, any force without a True Immortal at its helm, or even without the support of a Top Immortal Sect, has no standing to claim any area.
Although the Top Immortal Sects do not have the intention of competing for the Path of Humans' Qi Luck, this does not prevent them from seizing numerous benefits for themselves through it.
They strategically place their pieces, supporting certain forces and occupying some areas. Whether for the Jade Emperor faction or for the Human Race Five Emperors faction, they must woo them to garner more Path of Humans' Qi Luck, offering sufficient resources in exchange.
Of course, each force daring to do so has a Taoist Monarch behind them. Such opportunistic endeavors are only possible because of this support; even a Quasi-Taoist could hardly resist otherwise.
