Instantly, the massive camp was filled with the thunderous roar of steam boilers and the relentless clatter of ammunition being loaded. Hundreds of Mechanical Battle Armors entered combat mode at top speed.
Inside a tent, Catherine Carter had been arranging pieces on a sand table when the abrupt blare of the horn made her snap her head up. Her gaze instinctively turned serious.
