Truthfully, Cedric expected that he'd feel bad about what he had done.
There's no sugarcoating this. He had condemned an entire race. Sure, they wanted to harm humans first, but the idea of not even allowing them a chance to fight back was, frankly, too much.
That said, Cedric truly didn't feel bad about it.
Not even a single ounce of guilt came out of him. While he wasn't excited either, he also wouldn't be losing sleep over it. He's just indifferent.
If there's anything he felt, it was peace. He very much enjoyed the dull silence that was left behind by the extinction of demons.
The echoes of cruelty, madness, needless slaughter, etc. All of them were gone. All they left behind was a whole chaos realm in dire need of recuperation.
