The crowd was watching the sparring session from a safe distance.
Most of them aren't aware that it was Cedric who put them in an isolated space to prevent them from getting hurt while having the front row seat in his battle with his sons. And they don't really have the mental capacity to notice that right now because all of them were paying very close attention to the fight.
Their eyes bulged in terror as Cedric literally created a sun in mere seconds. For his first retaliation, isn't this going overboard? That said, it's not like they can stop him.
So, they watched as this enormous sun began firing off lasers of pure plasma. Just from the intensity alone, the crowd knew that if they were grazed by any one of these lasers, even by just a little, it would cause immense and torturous pain. If they got hit squarely in the body, this will disintegrate them completely.
