I saw her smile. After some time, Alex got up and tapped my arm before running off. ´OI! Come back!´ I yelled at her. Elliana raised her head from my shoulder with a smirk. ´Get her,´ She said, smirking. I ran after Alex fast, and she screamed before sprinting away from me. Mateo and Brandon cheer her on. Once I caught her, she let out a yelp. I tapped her back and ran off. She ran after me, laughing. Mateo and Brandon joined us. She ran after Mateo. I ran back to Elliana and sat next to her, catching my breath. I was watching them being silly; it was all fun. Until...Alex tripped and screamed in pain. I got up fast and ran to her. Mateo and Brandin did the same. Mateo got to her faster than Brandon, and I. Mateo picked her gently up in his arms. I kneeled next to them ´Where does it hurt, Alex??´ I asked her, and she pointed at her ankle. I took off her shoe gently, and she whined from the pain. I also took her sock gently off and saw right away that her ankle was twisted or broken. ´Get her to the nurse. Fast.´ I told them. They nodded and ran with her to the nurse. I went back to Elliana, helped her get up, and walked her to the nurse's office.
Mateo POV
We were all having fun and all, but out of nowhere, we heard Alex scream. We all turned around to look at Ale,x and she was on the ground holding her leg. I ran to her as fast as I could; I got to her faster than the rest. I gently picked her up and held her in my arms. King Kevin asked her where it hurt. She pointed at her ankle, and King Kevin took off her shoe and sock gently, but she still whined in pain. He told us to bring her to the nurse, so we nodded and ran off to the nurse's office. Brandon opened the door, and I carried Alex to the nurse's office. ´Hello boys, how can I help?´ She asked us.
´Alex may twisted or broken her ankle.... can you check it out?´ I asked her, she nodded, and started to check on her ankle. ´Well... it is broken..´ She spoke up after she did the examination. We glanced at each other and felt guilty. ´Don´t worry, I will wrap her ankle in the gips, and she will have to be on a month's rest.´ She told us with a soft smile.
We sighed. I held Alex and sat down on the bed gently. The nurse cut her pants off and wrapped her ankle in bandages first before wrapping her ankle in the cast. Alex was uncomfortable because of the pain. The door opened once again, and King Kevin and Queen Elliana walked in. ´How is she?´ King Kevin asked. ´Her ankle is broken....she needs a month of rest, my King.´ I informed them. He nodded and went to Alex.
´Rest well, Alex... you don't have to push yourself to recover fast, okay?´ King Kevin said. She nodded with a soft smile, thanking him and our Queen. ´Boys, once the nurse is done, please take her to her room and care for her. One of you will have to stay by her side and help her around. You two can also switch. It is all up to you two.´ King Kevin added before walking out with Queen Elliana.
We thanked them before they walked out. Soon, the nurse was done and told us that we could take Alex to her bedroom and give her some painkillers if she needed them. We thanked her, and I picked Alex up in my arms gently before we walked out of the nurse's office and into her bedroom.
