The giant vortex above the Silent Forest is still slowly "contracting and expanding," like a giant beast taking deep breaths. However, as time passes, each time it "expands," streams of black substance, like willow catkins, pour out from the vortex and drift down.
These black substances land on the tree canopies, instantly turning the green trees black; they fall on magical creatures, making their eyes blood-red in a blink; when they touch the soil, they act like corrosive acid, emitting unpleasant fumes. The magical creatures with blood-red eyes sniff this scent, gnashing their teeth and roaring ferociously. Their muscles ripple, and some even start devouring each other, transforming in a short time into dozens of beasts with astonishing auras.
Professor Emma floats in mid-air, staring unwaveringly at the vortex, ignoring the drifting black substances and the chaos within the Silent Forest below.
