Chapter 30 - Chapter 30: Out of Dimension

Kieran's breath came in ragged gasps, his body battered but standing victorious. The corpses of beasts littered the battlefield, their darkened blood soaking into the cold earth beneath him. His fingers trembled from exhaustion, but the power coursing through his veins had never felt clearer.

The system notification flickered before his eyes.

[Basic Tier Beast Killed – EXP Gained: 100]

[Total Kill Count: 30 Achieved]

[Would you like to exit dimension]

[Y/N]

Staring at the system screen Kieran selected the yes option. He didn't know how long he had been in this dimension for and since it was his first time entering one with the help of the system he didn't want to stay for long besides if he picked no and the system didn't offer him a way out anymore he would be trapped in this dimension so picking yes was the best option for now. Selecting his option a black beam of energy shot out of his ring as a swirling vortex of abyssal energy formed a few meters ahead, the very fabric of space bending to the system's will. Kieran's eyes narrowed as he took a deep breath, steadying himself. He had fought through thirty beasts, pushed his limits, and now, finally, the system deemed his trial complete.

Yet, what mattered most wasn't just the kill count—it was what he had gained from this experience.

For the past several hours, he had relentlessly battled, each fight honing his control over the Abyssal Veil. What had once been a strange and unknown ability to him has now become clearer and he could now feel the energy of the abyss flowing through him now he didn't have to rely on the system skill to bring out this ability cause he could now control the energy inside him.

Kieran glanced at his hand and willed the abyssal energy to surface.

Dark tendrils flickered to life around his palm, forming a smooth, controlled sphere. He clenched his fingers, and the sphere sharpened into the shape of a dagger—solid yet ethereal, like liquid shadow frozen in time.

This power… it was his now.

He took a step forward, his muscles aching from the toll of battle, and walked into the portal.

The moment he crossed the threshold, a rush of cold air greeted him.

Kieran blinked as his surroundings shifted. Gone was the desolate atmosphere of the dimension. Instead, he found himself standing in the same open field where he had first vanished. The sky stretched wide above him, painted in the soft hues of the setting sun. The gentle rustling of grass in the wind was a stark contrast to the eerie silence of the dimension.

He exhaled slowly. He was back.

The system notification flickered to life once more.

[Level Up – You have reached Level 5.]

[EXP: 150/1000]

[+3 Stat Points Earned]

[+2 Skill Points Earned]

Warmth spread through his body as his wounds closed up, his stamina replenishing. It was the familiar feeling of leveling up—of growing stronger.

Kieran opened his status screen, his eyes scanning his updated stats.

Kieran took a deep breath. He had progressed significantly since the moment he first entered the dimension.

Before, he had fought like a cornered beast, relying purely on instinct and brute force. Now, he fought with strategy, with power, with control.

He flexed his fingers, the abyssal energy rising once again. This time, he shaped it into a curved blade, the dark tendrils licking harmlessly against his skin.

The Abyssal Veil wasn't just some chaotic energy it was a weapon, and now he could wield it at will.

As he stood there, basking in his newfound control, a rustling sound from the distance snapped him back to reality.

Kieran turned sharply, his abyssal energy dissipating as his instincts flared to life.

Someone was approaching
