Just before the evaluation, a meeting had taken place between the higher-ups in the military.
The meeting was tense as they watched an ongoing clip. A fight was going on between the humans and another race. The humans were no match against the vicious race, and they were getting overwhelmed.
Those harmed were able to heal themselves and continue with their fight. They had deep, dark, rocky skin, with some having a horn while others two. Their size were twice the humans, and watching the video, one would be able to tell they had superior strength than the humans.
"Shit!" One of the leaders cursed with a disgusted expression. The humans were getting smashed like mosquitoes.
"A middle-grade faction getting destroyed so easily? Just what are we against," they thought.
They knew they had to take action or things would become worse.

At the military base, information was being passed to the higher-ups for their next course of action.
"That's impossible!" One of the generals exclaimed while listening.
"They won't survive! They had struggled against a large group of beasts and then putting them in another tough situation.
It's utter madness!" He exclaimed furiously
"That's it, we are discarding the old assessment replacing it with what I just said," the green-haired guy said. "I get why you are angry, but it's for the best. They need to be prepared. Except we might lose more than what we had bargained for."
"I believe those who survive the ordeal will gain incredible strength." Some had agreed while others still found it bizarre. A total of three generals sat in the meeting along with some higher rank soldiers. Finally the meeting was over and had been decided, they would go along with the new information.

Bursting through the main military base on Earth was a young soldier. Although young, he is part of the few generals in the military working under the government.
There appeared to be a meeting taking place inside the spacious room. The meeting was reserved for only a general and a few high government officials. Also, the vice supreme commander was present at the meeting.
"So... what's the next step? They are already attacking our outer defences.
"I say we gather our forces and fight back," one said, raising his clenched fist.
The large double doors were pushed open, and the guy walked inside, interrupting the ongoing meeting. "Ritchie, you're late." One of them said, staring at him.
Ritchie pushed back the few strands of his golden hair, clearing his throat. "I was caught up in something," he said before taking a seat.
"A new information just came through. A settlement in one of the planets owned by us had been attacked. No one was left alive, everything razed to the ground."
"This is getting out of hand," one of the officials said with a frown. "What's your say, Jaquin."
"Hmmm," the vice commander rubbed his chin. "Let them be, I believe those under the faction alliance can handle it. Our main problem is the winged organisation which is causing a lot of problems for us."
"The winged organisation?" One of the government officials asked with a blank face.
"Yeah! An organisation that abduct humans with rare abilities rendering various experiments on them. No one taken by them had ever made it back. We don't know if they are alive. The leader of the organisation remains unknown, and it seems they have increased their activity recently."
"What about the young cadets, how is their training going," one of the officials asked. "I believe sending some of the elites would be able to deal with the situation for now."
"They are still undergoing training. Although they have experience, this is a case bigger than they can handle," Ritchie said.
"I don't think Dalton would release them that easily. You know he's in charge of them," another general commented.
"Let's just see how the situation goes before we do anything reckless, for now, deploy some of the special forces to investigate the winged organisation. Also... it's time I visit the cadet's military base," Jaquin said with a strange smile on his face.
"So we are going to assist the factions in whatever way possible in order to protect our world. I think that's all for today," Jaquin said before walking out of the room. Slowly, others left the room.

Somewhere on earth, a large building built with pristine white rocks could be seen floating amidst. At the top of the building were large wings with arrows piercing through. This was the winged base. The place was quite busy as people headed in while some were coming out of the building.
A large man with a large mackintosh coat walked across the barren land before leaping towards the building. Only those with special devices are able to get through the barrier protecting it. Also, the building was unseen to the eyes, as one needs to have that special device in order to see it.
Getting close to the floating land, the barrier surrounding it released a white glow as he passed through.
The man continued his journey as he entered the building. The building was built high, with several falls and also an underground base where they carried out their hideous operations. The guy walked into one of the elevators with no one giving him a glance.
Entering the elevator, he tapped the last floor at the top. The elevator ascended high, and within minutes, stopped at his destination. Coming out, he walked through the halls staring at the walls.
"I can't get this feeling out every time I come here." He said. The walls were covered in different arts. Figures of angels with flaming swords and fiery wings. Then, moving forwards one would see large creatures with dark skin and eyes glowing red depicted on the walls.
The figures seemed to swirl around each time he looked at it. Finally, he stopped at the front of a door, exuding an aura. "Even from here, I can still feel this oppressing aura."
"Come in," a charming voice broke through, and slowly, he opened the door, revealing a beautiful lady welcoming him in.
Her wavy pink hair flowed down to the fall. The hair never seems to touch the ground as it floats over the ground.
Her eyes were a beautiful shade of golden brown staring at him. "Shit! How does she do that," he thought. He felt she was seeing through the layer of clothing he wore and even trying to evade his mind.
'Her presence is so overbearing,' clearing his throat, he scrunched his face and walked confidently towards one of the chairs in the room.
"So your boss doesn't want to show himself, huh?" he asked with a frown.
"I handle all his dealings,my boss is quite busy."
"Hmphh, well, you better put a pause in your operations. They are sending the special force to track you guys down."
"Hmmm, don't worry about us," she said with a smile. "We are big enough to handle any problem that comes our way. What about the cadet military base? Have you been able to get the location?" she asked.
"I'm still working on it. The general in charge is quite a hard head, but don't worry, I'm going to find it no matter the cost."
"Good, I heard there's been a change of plans on their assessment for the new recruits. I have something to give to you as a present." She said to him, walking towards a little box at the edge of the room.
"Huh? How did you know that he was short of words." Not even him knows what is happening in the base and was quite shocked on how she knew.
"I have my ways," she said with a smile once again. "Open the box in the area where their assessment would take place."
"What's in the box?" He couldn't help but ask.
"Ever heard of Pandora's box? It's a surprise. You'll see by that time.Whatever you do, don't open it until the right time."
Getting on his feet, he walked out of the room and found his way back to the entrance of the building. Leaping up, he jumped down from the floating land.
"Things are about to get interesting, this will keep them occupied for the time being, isn't that right master." she said, eyes filled with excitement.
"Yeah," the space seemed to distort at the sound of his voice. "Slowly, I can build my army... my personal army and finally repay what they did to me, tenfold. Starting with these pecky humans." The room seemed to shake at the sound of his voice.
Slowly, two bright embers could been seen amidst the air, emitting an otherworldly glow. Those eyes contained so much power that even the pink haired girl felt a slight shiver down her spine.
