Angel stopped for a moment at the door, and saw the broom in the hall. Angel got the broom and went back to the door. 'Just in case it's some pervert, or theifs.' Angel thought.
Angel took a deep breath and let it out, then she opened the door, clutching the broom tightly and slightly raised.
" Professor Oak? What are you doing here? Is something wrong?" Angel asked with surprise and concern. Angel carefully placed the broom behind the door, leaning it back against the wall, as though she never had it.
"Ah! Angel, I'm sorry for disturbing you at this hour, however, this little one was trying to sneak out of the lab. I assumed that Vulpix was trying to find you." Professor Oak exclaimed, as Vulpix walked nonchalantly into the house as though she owned it.
'PIX!' Vulpix replied, as if to agree with the professor.
Angel smiled and crouched down and picked Vulpix up, gently scratching her under the chin.
" I see. Thank you Professor for bringing her here. Would you like to come in? I'm watching the indigo league."
" That sounds marvelous,Angel. Thank you. However I will have to decline. Will it be alright if i left Vulpix here with you? She has taked quite the liking to you."
" I don't mind her staying sir. To be honest, I'm a bit lonely and could use the company."
Professor Oak nodded his head in understanding. Angel and Professor Oak talked for a few more moments before wishing each other goodbye.
Angel watched as Professor Oak walked back to his car and drove away. Angel closed the door. And walked back to the couch, carrying Vulpix.
"Alright, Vulpix it seems like we missed some the of pokemon league, and opponents are down to their last two pokemon."
'Pix! Pix!' Vulpix replied.
A commercial came on and Angel decided to use that time to get some tea and a light snack. She walked into the kitchen and put water into the kettle and put it on the stove. Then made her way to the pantry to get the tea.
' Hmm... I wonder what Vulpix would like? Does she like sweets, salty, or spicy? I think I'll make some rose tea. What snack should I get?' Angel thought looking in the pantry.
Vulpix quietly walk into the kitchen and walked past Angel and jumped onto the stool in the pantry. Vulpix put both front paws on the shelf with some boxes and leaned to sniff.
Angel looked down when she saw Vulpix jumping on the stool. Angel smiled in amusement and knelt down.
" Alright, Vulpix. What should we snack on? Popcorn, chips, biscuits, or cookies? Or maybe....." Angel thought and looked toward the freezer. " or maybe we should have some vanilla ice cream. Yeah that sounds good. Rose tea and vanilla ice cream."
'Vulpix! Vul!' Vulpix replied as if she was agreeing and jumped off the stool and walked out of the pantry and waited.
With that Angel stood up grabbed the rose tea off of the top shelf and closed the pantry. Just as the kettle began to whistle, informing that the water was boiling.
Angel grabbed the teapot and a cup and bowl. Angel put some tea leaves into the teapot and grabbed the kettle, turning the stove off and began to pour it into the teapot.
When that was done Angel put the kettle on the back of the stove and went to the freezer and grabbed the tub of vanilla ice cream and set it on the counter. She went to the cupboard and crabbed two small bowls and began to fill them with vanilla ice cream.
When tat was done she put the ice cream back into the freezer and took everything back to the living room.
