Chapter 135 - An Unexpected Awakening (134)

Chandeliers hung from the ceiling, their soft glow casting an enchanting atmosphere over the space. In one corner, a plush, inviting sofa seemed to call them, promising rest and relaxation amid the splendor. Just off the primary space, a modern kitchen boasted a sleek quartz countertop and a stylish island, its elegant design complementing the room's timeless charm. The polished surfaces gleamed under the ambient lighting, enhancing the kitchen's sophisticated aesthetic. To their delight, they also discovered an enclosed loft nestled within the space. A skylight above bathed the area in natural light, while bookshelves lined the walls, brimming with endless possibilities. Every detail of the room was meticulously crafted, balancing comfort and beauty in perfect harmony. The fusion of traditional elegance and modern luxury created an atmosphere that was both inviting and awe-inspiring.

Lyam then led the three of them on a tour to three uniquely styled bedrooms. The first immediately caught Vi's attention–its floral wallpaper, deep purple curtains, and rustic charm made it feel like a hidden sanctuary. Without hesitation, she claimed it as her own. The second room, with its cozy loft and thoughtful layout, captivated Aeron. Wasting no time, he eagerly moved in, already envisioning how he would make it his own. Before they made it to the last room, Starfania saw a strange symbol above the door. It was a strange dragon that was holding a flame to be shaped in a heart while the wings shielded it. Atlas stepped closer to his owner, then he gently nudged her hand. Both stared at the symbol until Lyam said, " That symbol right there is the mark of the Dragon Savior. Meaning, whoever was the next Dragon Savior would bear this mark. Letting all of Avalon know that their protector would come again. "

Starfania felt a shiver run down her spine. The symbol stirred something deep within her, a connection to a past she had yet to understand. Atlas looked up at her, sensing her unease, and let out a soft growl, encouraging her to keep. She took a deep breath and centered herself.

"What does the Dragon Savior do?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper. Lyam shrugged, his expression turning serious. "They protect Avalon from the darkness. This dragon represents hope and resilience. Without the Savior, chaos could reign."

Starfania nodded slowly, absorbing the weight of his words. She stepped closer to the door, drawn to the glowing symbol. The flame, so vibrant and alive, seemed to pulse with energy.

"Do you think I could make a difference as the next Dragon Savior?" she asked, half-joking, but with a hint of sincerity. Lyam chuckled softly, shaking his head. "You have the heart for it. But it's not just about the mark. It's about courage and unwavering spirit."

She glanced at Atlas, who was watching her intently, as if urging her to believe in herself.

"I want to make a difference," she whispered. The door began to creak open, revealing a dimly lit room inside. The air felt charged, and she felt a surge of determination.

"Then let's find out what lies ahead," Lyam said with a smile.

The minute the door opened, Starfania saw a bed seamlessly integrated into the wall, featuring a beautifully crafted silver dragon as its rail—a striking yet elegant touch. The walls were painted a soft lilac, their delicate hue accentuated by shimmering silver stars and moons that seemed to twinkle under the gentle glow of the room's lighting. A small bookshelf nestled in the corner held an array of well-loved books, their spines faded from many readings. Each volume seemed to whisper stories of adventure, magic, and far-off lands. A plush, oversized chair sat invitingly nearby, perfect for curling up with a captivating tale. On a slender desk, a delicate crystal lamp cast a warm, inviting light, illuminating the scattered sketches and notes that hinted at creativity in motion. Nearby, a window framed a view of a tranquil night sky, where twinkling stars sparkled like diamonds, completing the enchanting atmosphere of the space. Delicate curtains billowed slightly with the night breeze, their fabric shimmering like the starlit sky. Tucked against the wall was a small vanity, adorned with an assortment of brushes and colorful palettes, signaling that artistry flowed freely here. Each corner of the room breathed life and imagination, creating a sanctuary where dreams could take flight.

A smile spread across Starfania's face as she spun around in the center of the room, completely captivated by its magical atmosphere. With an excited sigh, she settled onto the bed, sinking into the soft pillows as warmth enveloped her. This place—a breathtaking sanctuary—was now her home. As she gazed around in awe, Atlas gracefully stepped into the room, his presence commanding yet serene. He moved towards the center, and in that moment, an indescribable energy filled the space. It surged through Starfania, wrapping around her soul like a dream she never wanted to wake from. Turning toward Lyam, her heart swelled with gratitude. She couldn't hold back her appreciation any longer.

" I don't even know what to say. This is more than we can ask for. " Starfania said, her voice filled with sincerity.

" How about you get settled in first? Then, when you're ready, meet me in the living room. Lyam said with a smile and also added. " It has also been the Primara Nation tradition to host the Dragon Savior. "

" Tradition? " Starfania said, her voice intrigued by the entire ordeal. He nodded, explaining that his family had long upheld the sacred of caring for the Dragon Savior.
