Gu Yuheng waved his hand, "You can't be blamed for this."
He and his second and third brothers were half-brothers, sharing the same father but different mothers. Although his stepmother never abused him, she wasn't particularly kind to him either, so there was some estrangement between the brothers.
However, his two younger brothers were very upright. After he disappeared, they never thought of seizing his land and houses. If any issues arose, they would help as long as the children mentioned it.
After experiencing so much, Gu Yuheng, now older, increasingly valued family affection.
His second uncle added, "Jiao Jiao gave me the keys to your courtyard back then. When I had time, I'd go over and take a look. Just the other day, I cleaned up the weeds in the courtyard."
"It's just that with the house being uninhabited for several years, it looks rather rundown."
Gu Yuheng stood up, "Let's go take a look. I plan to stay at home for a night and see if it can be tidied up."
