Old Tang looked at Shen Qinglan and laughed, "Miss Shen, luckily you're back. If you didn't return soon, I wouldn't know how to cover for you anymore."
Shen Qinglan slightly curved the corners of her lips, "Did my father come to ask you?"
"Yes!" Old Tang sighed softly, looking helpless, "Your father has been coming to see me as soon as he finishes work, always inquiring about your whereabouts and return date. I told him that the Shengxiang Restaurant is opening a branch in the Prefecture, and you were dispatched to handle it, but he didn't seem to fully believe me."
"It's my fault for not being clear, I've troubled you!"
When she left that day, she only said she was going away for a trip and would be back soon, but she forgot to explain where she was going.
