Granny Hua first glanced at Shen Qinglan, then looked at Shen Shan with a forced smile.
Shen Shan hadn't heard their conversation, but when he heard Granny Hua greeting him, he quickly smiled and replied, "Oh, I'm taking Qinglan to the town for a trip. Granny Hua, are you headed to town too?"
Granny Hua laughed and said, "No, I'm just out for a morning stroll. Seeing everyone here, I came over to chat a bit."
Feeling the gaze of everyone occasionally falling on her, Shen Qinglan turned her head and gave a slight nod to the group caught glimpsing at her.
The group awkwardly smiled back at her before shifting their eyes elsewhere.
The ox cart soon appeared, driven by Old Zhao.
Upon seeing the father and daughter duo, Old Zhao beamed and said, "Shen Er, you're going to town with the Third Young Lady?"
Shen Shan boarded the ox cart with Shen Qinglan and finally replied, "Yes, just going to take a look."
