"Didn't I say there's no need to make food? Why don't you listen?" Chu Molin looked at his wife bringing in a fruit plate, knowing she wouldn't obediently listen.
"I'm not tired." Qin Xue placed the fruit plate in front of them, not sure if they'd had their chat.
"Mom, you should really rest. We're fine here." Cohen wanted to see his mother take care of herself, especially since she has a younger daughter now.
"I know, I'm just happy to serve you." Qin Xue said, patting Cohen on the head, smiling as she left without disturbing their conversation.
"Do what you really want to do, don't worry about us." Continuing the topic, Chu Molin spoke with Cohen.
"I understand, Dad. I won't overthink it. Don't worry." Cohen realized his parents' intentions, easing his restless heart.
As long as he knew his parents loved him and didn't intend to abandon him, he wouldn't feel alone no matter what happened in the future.
