The couple, Qing Zhu and his wife, thought about going back quickly, while Qin Xue and her family also wanted to hurry home. They had promised the kids to make food, but as it turned out, the kids didn't care as they had gone to eat elsewhere.
Right now, Qin Xue was wondering if the kids had already fallen asleep when they returned.
"Xue'er, slow down, there's no need to rush," Chu Molin said, looking at his wife who was anxious about the kids. He truly wanted her to move faster, but seeing her belly, he had to give up.
"We broke our promise." Qin Xue felt a bit discouraged; such a small thing couldn't even be accomplished. It really left her at a loss for words.
"Didn't the boys say they wouldn't eat? They told us to take care of our own business," Chu Molin hadn't forgotten what their sons had said, so upon hearing his wife's words, he showed little emotion or response.
