No one else in this world can provide him with such peace and warmth like she does.
Dylan didn't mention the verbal battle at the Hospital, nor did he explain why he had to suddenly send them away.
These troubling matters, he didn't want her to know.
Nell sighed in relief: "As long as everything's fine, that's a weight off my mind… Is it very cold outside? Why are your hands so cold?"
She held Dylan's hand tightly, wanting to warm it up, refusing to let go.
Dylan smiled: "It is a bit cold, that's why I hurried back. It's warmer at home."
The two sat down together, Nell asked curiously: "But why leave so suddenly at such a late hour? They're already old, won't their health be affected?"
Dylan picked up a grilled Chicken wing and offered it to Nell, "Don't worry, the Doctor checked them, they're in good health. Besides, they don't trust the Capital City's Doctors and insisted on going back to Ocean City for treatment, I couldn't do anything."
Nell nodded: "I see…"
