Dylan Young's words made Nell Harris burst into tears like rain. No one knew how panicked she was when she turned around and saw Dylan standing at the entrance. She wasn't a weak person, but at that moment, she didn't know how to explain things to Dylan.
Fortunately, her husband believed in her.
Dylan felt some warmth on his shoulder. He cupped Nell's face, lowering his head to kiss her eyes, gently sucking the tears from the corner of her eyes with his tongue.
"Let's go home now. From now on, I won't let you see them again... You are my wife; you don't need to care about them. I married you to spend the rest of my life with you, not to let you suffer from them. I will never let this happen again."
Anger and hatred filled Dylan's heart. He never expected his parents to use such tactics on him.
His father intentionally called him away, delaying him from returning, while his mother came to make things difficult for his wife.
